Brit Marling In Preen – “Another Earth” New York Premiere

Brit Marling attended the New York Premiere of “Another Earth” at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema last night.

The relative newbie managed to score the first look from the Preen Resort 2012 collection.

Her tri-colour pink and red t-shirt dress with an asymmetrical split was styled very differently from the model.

The edgy sandals are replaced with satin peep-toe Louboutin’s, and the leather waistband was replaced with a thin snakeskin belt.

I would’ve loved it had Brit kept the runway waistband to complement her peep-toes and LV clutch.

January Jones In Preen – “X-Men: First Class” New York Premiere

The “X-Men: First Class” New York Premiere is finally here.

I’ve been wondering how January Jones would dress her baby bump on the red carpet.

On this occasion she didn’t take her cues from Jessica Alba and Victoria Beckham, because she opted to show-off her bump.

She did so wearing a Preen Resort 2011 black and purple off-the-shoulder dress.

The dress has a gathered detail which sits above her bump.

I’m far from being crazy about this look, but she looks comfortable and I’m sure that was her main concern.

I do like however like her green and yellow eyeshadow which is an unexpected colour combination with this dress.

Prada patent heels completed her look.

Michelle Obama In Preen – Air Force One

Would you believe that the Michelle Obama is the first person to wear a look from the Preen Fall 2011 collection.

I absolutely loved this collection and I haven’t been happy about the lack of celebrity love, so this look has totally made my day.

The First Lady wore a Preen violet cropped jacket with a matching high-waist pencil skirt and with the runway printed blouse as she disembarked Air Force One with US President Barack Obama at Stansted Airport yesterday evening.

The original look was presented as a crop top and not a jacket, but I love Mrs O interpretation.

Teal suede pumps and orange Cathy Waterman earrings completed this BDOTW worthy look.

I love that she wore a British designer whilst touching down on British soil.

Sidewalk Style: Beyonce Knowles In Preen

After a working on her new music video – which we’re eagerly awaiting – Beyonce Knowles popped up in Paris yesterday with hubby Jay Z.

The couple had a romantic dinner at 39V Restaurant on Avenue George V.

Despite the fried blonde hair Beyonce looked beautiful wearing a Preen floral print bustier dress from the Fall 2010 collection.

Similar versions of this dress have been worn by Marisa Tomei and Rachel Bilson.

Beyonce teamed her dress with Christian Louboutin Lady Peep 150 python slingbacks, a snake-skin Jimmy Choo ‘Rosabel’ bag and matching his and hers shades.

Emma Stone In Preen – Conde Nast Traveler Annual Hot List Party

Emma Stone looked adorable on the red carpet at the Conde Nast Traveler Annual Hot List Party last night, which was held at the Soho House in West Hollywood, California.

The blonde actress opted for a Preen beaded dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

Her pearl blue dress with a beautifully beaded bodice is an artfully constructed dress.

Emma kept her elegant dress the main focus by teaming it with neutral coloured accessories which included Christian Louboutin Fine Bretelle slingbacks plus subtle silver jewelry.

She added a white belt to her dress, but the real pop of colour came via her fuchsia pink lips.

Preen Fall 2011

Preen’s Fall 2011 collection was dominated by an unexpected explosion of prints, patterns and sexy thigh-high splits.

The bold colours were a refreshing relief from the usual dark colours of black and grey we see during the Fall season.

The mostly navy colour palette with pops of lavender, orange and green were paired with the stand out prints.

I loved the silhouettes and the tailoring was impeccable.

The highlights for me were the crystal embellishments on sheer shirts which added a touch of rock and roll collection.

Doubled up skirts, blouses with embellished collars and cuffs, loose fitted pants and sweaters were presented in this wearable colourful collection.

Key accessories included suede pumps and ankle boots in a variety of colours from orange to grey to navy blue.

Favourites: Lavender shirt paired with two tone skirt and floral shirt with tulip skirt
