The British Fashion Council, in partnership with luxury fashion e-tailer STYLEBOP.com, celebrated the London Style Suites – an initiative to promote a selection of Britain’s most talented red carpet designers in Los Angeles – with a party held at the Chateau Marmont on Friday.
Kiernan Shipka, who knows a thing or two about red carpet dressing despite her tender years, donned a Preen Spring 2014 white top with a colourful floral-and-geometric print with a white skirt with a jagged edge.
Taking inspiration from the runway, she styled the look with two-tone sandals, completing her look with cute curls and glossy pink lips.

Helena Christensen wore a Preen ‘Dawn’ citrus-flower-embroidered navy-and-lime-green three-quarter-sleeve dress featuring a solid lime-green back panel while attending Matches Fashion’s celebration of their Rika Magazine partnership.
Her demure dress with striking, vibrant embroidery was styled with simple black pumps.
Fellow model Jodie Kidd wore the same dress while attending the evening to celebrate the Global Fund last month.
This is a perfect example of how accessories can elevate a look. Jodie’s sexy lace Jimmy Choos, bracelets and a black clutch add so much more to the look than Helena’s simple pumps.
An easy win for Jodie.

Maria Sharapova joined Jessica Paré and Nicole Richie on the red carpet at the Lincoln Center in New York City for the 2013 Style Awards.
The tennis star, who was forced out of the US open due to a shoulder injury, was able to concentrate on her second love – fashion.
Working a clean, crisp, summery look to the fullest, she wore a silver-embellished white sleeveless top with a sequinned skirt featuring a wrap-style silhouette and solid back panel from Preen’s Spring 2013 collection.
Taupe Louboutin pumps wouldn’t have been my first choice. I wish she’d opted for something as light and delicate as her ensemble. I hear a thud when I come to her footwear.

Following her weekend at V Festival, Mollie King was spotted leaving Radio 1 studios in London yesterday afternoon, where she was promoting her new single, ‘Disco Love’, with her The Saturday’s band mates.
Looking as beautiful and Sloaney as ever, the pretty blonde singer wore a Preen Line ‘Kensal’ silk crepe-de-chine and jersey dress with a contemporary blue tartan print and solid black back.
The loose-fit dress was cinched at the waist with a brown leather belt which complemented her Burberry ‘Orchard’ bag and tan shoes.
I would’ve loved a pair of red pumps or a red belt to offset the print on the dress, but she stuck to safe neutrals.

It feels like Fergie has been pregnant forever. I am guessing she feels the same way as she threw yet another baby shower following her ‘Gayby Shower’ last month.
She was spotted headed to the shower with family and friends in West Hollywood, California on Saturday wearing yet another fitted dress, which showed off her baby bump.
This time she wore an eye-catching bold red poppy-print floral confection courtesy of Preen.
Maybe red was the theme, as she styled with look with a red floral garland, red talons and a red Hermes ‘Birkin’ bag.
Holding off on going head-to-toe red, she added silver Fergie pumps and black Chanel shades to her look.
You may remember that Emily VanCamp wore this same dress back in June.

For the launch of Rika Magazine’s latest project, ‘Iron Girl’, MatchesFashion.com hosted a cocktail party and private exhibition viewing, which featured 28 portraits of strong, independent and creative women, photographed by Helena Christensen and Jen Carey, in London yesterday evening.
Helena was in attendance wearing a Preen ‘Dawn’ citrus-flower embroidered navy-and-lime-green three-quarter-sleeve dress featuring a solid lime-green back panel.
Her demure dress with striking, and vibrant details were styled with simple black pumps.
This dress is exclusive to MatchesFashion along with five other pieces in the capsule collection including a pieces including the ‘Dusk’ citrus-flower jersey dress, the ‘Twilight’ citrus-flower embroidered top, ‘Citrus’ flower-print trousers, a colour-block multi-print sweater and a ‘Midnight’ citrus-flower pleated skirt.
