Alexa Chung In Preen – British Vogue’s December Issue Dinner Party

Alexa Chung joined Alicia Vikander to toast Edward Enninful’s first cover for British Vogue on Tuesday (November 7) in London.

You’d be forgiven for thinking Alexa’s frock was part of her own ALEXACHUNG collection considering the red ‘A’ stitched onto her dress, but this dress hails from Preen’s Spring 2018 collection, which was inspired by the novel ‘The Scarlet Letter’.

Some might not be too enamored by the chunky black boots styling of this pretty printed frock, but adding a boyish twist is not unfamiliar when it comes to Alexa Chung, plus they give the summery look a mild Fall reference which I found myself appreciating.

Kate Bosworth In Preen & Oscar de la Renta – ‘The Long Road Home’ Q&A and Premiere

Kate Bosworth is busy promoting ‘The Long Road Home,’ first attending a Q&A on Monday (October 30) in Los Angeles, California and later the premiere.

SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s ‘Long Road Home’ Q&A: Straddling the line between fall and spring, the actress donned a Preen Spring 2018 look. I love how this is an ensemble from next season, but the orange, yellow and muted pink tones still have an autumnal feel. The more modest modifications to the frock also made it feel more appropriate for now, as did the black accessories.

Kate Bosworth In Preen – ‘Jane’ National Geographic Documentary Films’ Premiere

Kate Bosworth has been experimenting with different styles which haven’t gone down too well lately, but she was back to her best for the premiere of National Geographic Documentary Films’ ‘Jane’ on Monday (October 9) in Hollywood, California.

This is the Kate Bosworth I love: current, fashion savvy and bold in colour.

Spliced with asymmetrical cuts, silver embroidery and off kilter layering, her pleated Preen Spring 2018 handkerchief hem frock was perfectly styled with Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Harmony’ crystal sandals.

Tracee Ellis Ross In Preen – CBS’ ‘The Carol Burnett Show 50th Anniversary

Tracee Ellis Ross sparkled brightly at CBS’ ‘The Carol Burnett Show 50th Anniversary Special’ on Wednesday (October 4) in LA.

While this Preen ‘Clarissa’ dress from the Fall 2017 collection delivered high-octane dazzle, I would almost venture to say it was a more subdued look for Tracee’s particular brand of sartorial quirkiness.

That said, I loved the sequined, slim-fitting number on her, and as per, she rocked it—with her full curls and oxblood lip completing the dramatic, slightly retro appeal.

The pumps are the only element I’d change.

Introducing the L.K. Bennett x Preen Collection

Preen by Thornton Bregazzi and L.K. Bennett launch their first ever ready-to-wear collaboration today online and in selected L.K. Bennett stores.

Design duo Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi drew inspiration from the floral watercolours of Scottish artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh to create this timeless collection of luxury silk dresses, floral print skirts and soft knitwear. Rendered in a rich palette of pinks, purples, reds and blues, you’re sure to fall for this elegant capsule collection.

Olivia Palermo was of course the first to be spotted wearing a piece from the collection during London Fashion Week, wearing the gorgeous Valli dress which mixes white stripes, florals and bright colours.

The Preen designers have described the dress as a “great example of us drawing on an archive Preen design and adapting it with a new graphic floral print for the L.K. Bennett customer.”

Prices for the range, which comprises 16 pieces, start at £195 and go up to £550.

I wonder if we’ll see the Duchess in this collection?

Highlights include the Sonic Dark pink sequinned dress that will definitely attract compliments come party season.
