Amanda Seyfried In Preen – ‘Epic’ New York Premiere

While the Cannes Film Festival continues to captivate with its set of high wattage screenings, Amanda Seyfried walked a lush green carpet at her own ‘Epic’ movie premiere at The Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City on Saturday.

Channeling an evolved punk attitude, the actress wore a red-and-black Preen skater dress that featured a thin white stripe down the center and exposed zippers at the sides.

The graphic print was like a trendy Tetris game; the falling bricks of the bodice built a pixelated floral pattern in the flouncy skirt.

Givenchy patent black ankle-strap sandals, studded with gold buckles, kicked even more tough-girl charm into this look.

Jewels were kept to a minimum. But Amanda did prettify with shiny blonde locks, which were coaxed into romantic rippling ringlets and twisted back on one side, along with a magenta lippie.

La La Anthony In Preen – International Beauty Show

La La Anthony promoted her ‘Motives for La La Cosmetics’ with a meet and greet during the International Beauty Show held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.

The TV host wore one of my favourite dresses from the Preen Resort 2013 collection.

I just love the dramatic blend of clashing paint-drip colours mixed with floral blooms on a seductive bodycon silhouette.

Green pumps provide a punchy finish to her colourful look.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Nicole Kidma In Oscar de la Renta, Diane Kruger In Preen and Ryan Gosling In Gucci

I am not surprised that you picked Nicole Kidman in Oscar de la Renta for your best dressed this week. This was the first time in a long while that she oozed glamour from head to toe. This signalled that the Nicole we all love was finally back on form.

Picking a best dressed was really difficult for me this week.

Nicole was a given, so I opted to select my second best, but there were so many options.

Karolina Kurkova stunned in all her looks, and Victoria Justice also deserved a shout out, but in the end I had to pick Diane Kruger in Preen. From the break from black, to her gorgeous printed Preen dress and complementary styling I was in total lust.

When it came to menswear there was a clear winner: Ryan Gosling in Gucci.

The man knows how to wear a suit. Stepping out of the narrow menswear box, he opted for both colour and texture, giving us a swoon-worthy red carpet moment.

I would love to see a BDOTW with both Ryan and Eddie.

Diane Kruger In Preen – Good Morning America

As you know, I wasn’t crazy about the all-black look which Diane Kruger wore to the New York screening of ‘The Host’, but I feel like she made it up to me this morning as she made her way to ABC studios for a guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’.

This is more like it. This Preen Pre-Fall 2013 dress I can totally get behind.

Not only because of the colourful blue-and-white stripes and polka dots, but also for the stand-out red waistband and neon-yellow back panel, which she complemented with matching Loeffler Randall ‘Paige’ sandals.

This is my favourite look so far this promo tour, after three black dresses in a row.

A classic Chanel quilted bag and a simple bun completed her look.

Brookyln Decker In Preen – Vanity Fair And Juicy Couture Celebration Of The 2013 Vanities Calendar

Brooklyn Decker strutted her stuff at the Vanity Fair and Juicy Couture Celebration of the 2013 Vanities Calendar with Olivia Munn last night at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

The actress wore a top and skirt from the Preen Spring 2013 collection.

The ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’ actress paired her graphic ensemble with a pair of grey snakeskin Prabal Gurung for Casadei strappy sandals.

So many prints juxtaposed could easily have crossed into overkill territory, but by keeping within the same design collection, Decker’s look is visually appealing rather than jarring.

The star’s newly darker ombré hair is also a refreshing change. The darker hue accents her blue eyes and bone structure beautifully.

Jessica Chastain In Preen – ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ New York Photocall

Jessica Chastain was at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in New York City this afternoon for the photocall for her new movie, ‘Zero Dark Thirty’.

There are times when I don’t get why celebs are in such a hurry to wear looks from the Spring 2013 collection, but in this case I get it.

Why wait until next year to wear this gorgeous Preen Spring 2013 ensemble when you can wear this floral fusion now?

Jessica’s peony-print sleeveless fitted top was worn with the runway skirt featuring asymmetrical panels, including a solid white panel, and a white sheer geometric organza hem.

The colours couldn’t be more perfect for her milky complexion, plus I love the dark-pink lip shade which complements the pink hues on her dress.

Nude pumps and wavy flame-coloured tresses provided the finishing touches.
