Kiernan Shipka In Preen - Jimmy Choo’s CHOO

Kiernan Shipka attended the launch of CHOO.08° hosted by Jimmy Choo’s creative director Sandra Choi on Tuesday (April 15) in Beverly Hills, California.

The young ‘Mad Men’ star gave us a lesson in springtime dressing and colour co-ordination, teaming her Preen Pre-Fall 2014 dress.

Beckoning the warmer weather the fit-and-flare silhouette, reminiscent of the fifties, was styled with Jimmy Choo ‘Sunday’ pumps.

Who would’ve thought that grey, yellow and white would be such a great combination?

Do you like the matchiness of this look or would you have preferred a solid-coloured Choo?

Karolina Kurkova In Preen - Lucky FABB Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference

Karolina Kurkova joined Nicole Richie, January Jones and fellow model Coco Rocha at the Lucky FABB: Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference presented held at the SLS Hotel on Friday (April 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

Wearing a season-appropriate look she donned a Preen Spring 2014 dress pointy collar blouse and asymmetrical wrap skirt with an uneven hem which could easily be mistaken for separates.

The vivid floral and graphic tile print is mellowed with white pumps with additional simple styling including her blonde tresses swept into a neat updo.

The look couldn’t be more perfect for the season especially when topped off with the current season’s lip colour of the moment: hot-pink.

Shailene Woodley In Preen - Kate Winslet Honoured On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Kathy Bates and Shailene Woodley joined the celebration which saw British actress Kate Winslet honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on Monday (March 17) in Hollywood, California.

Kate Winslet: The British actress gave us no surprises, wearing a black dress which she styled with Roger Vivier ‘Sandale Plateau’ black-and-gold ankle-strap sandals and Ana Khouri jewels, including white-diamond ‘Wing’ earrings and a white-diamond ‘Stem’ four-finger ring.

Shailene Woodley: On the other hand, Shailene did surprise me. Her approach to red carpet dressing doesn’t always excite, but on this occasion I love her shimmering Preen Pre-Fall 2014 floral jacquard dual-colour blue-and-silver frock accented with a chartreuse thin belt and styled with Narciso Rodriguez sandals. I have to say this is better than some of the looks she has worn during her ‘Divergent’ tour. Do you agree?

Katherine Jenkins In Preen - Investitures Ceremony at Buckingham Palace

Katherine Jenkins and her partner Andrew Levitas arrived at Buckingham Palace in central London on Friday (March 14) for an Investiture Ceremony, where she received an OBE from Prince Charles.

The Welsh soprano was awarded the honour for her services to music and charity work.

Looking as lovely as ever, she wore a Preen Spring 2014 dress cut from white stretch-crepe featuring a kaleidoscope of colour and print.

Her colourful perfect-for-a-sunny-day-at-the-palace dress, which cinches her in at the waist enhancing her silhouette, was only marginally upstaged by a stunning magenta fascinator.

You may remember that Melonie Diaz wore this same dress to the Film Independent Spirit Awards earlier this month.

I love this so much that it’s currently on my favourites list.

Melonie Diaz In Preen - Film Independent Spirit Awards 2014

Melonie Diaz brought a burst of colour to the blue carpet at the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards, held on Saturday (March 1) at Santa Monica Beach in California.

The ‘Fruitvale Station’ actress and nominee wore a kaleidoscope of a dress from the Preen Spring 2014 collection.

The white, sleeveless frock was emboldened with an abstract, zig-zag geometric print in a bright palette of hues.

In this case, I don’t mind the revisions from the runway design. After all, we’ve seen enough sheer hemlines as it is.

Nor I am bothered by the selection of black pumps, even if a sandal may have been preferred. The heels, along with a minimalistic black VBH handbag, allowed the boldness of the artsy dress to take centre stage.

However, her fuchsia lip was an excellent non-black accessory. W. Britt gold earrings and a bracelet topped off the look.
