Lena Dunham In Prada – 2012 Emmy Awards

Lena Dunham was one of my least favourites on the red carpet at the 2012 Emmy Awards on Sunday.

The actress, who was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, wore a navy Prada lace short-sleeved and backless gown with a sky-blue lining.

I don’t find the dress to be particularly exciting or flattering, but I’m not surprised as I’m rarely enamoured by any of Prada’s red-carpet gowns.

Studded diamond earrings and kohl-rimmed eyes completed her less-than-impressive look.

Audrey Tautou In Prada – ‘Therese Desqueyroux’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Audrey Tatou played it safe for the premiere of ‘Therese Desqueyroux’ at The Elgin theatre during the 2012 Toronto Film Festival on Tuesday.

The French actress looked her usual Gallic self in an elegant Prada dress.

Audrey’s red carpet ensemble isn’t exciting, but it is classic. The dress looks a little too big for her, but I like how the gold buttons match her Miu Miu sandals.

A red lip and a messy bun complete her look.

Prada Fall/Winter 2012 Women’s Film

For Prada’s Fall/Winter 2012 campaign video, the brand adopted a virtual world where the sharp symmetry of the backdrop matches the geometric patterns on many of the collection’s pieces.

The video features both a chess game and a parallel reality, both of which mirror each other.

The models, including one of fashion’s superstars Magdalena, all sport pin straight here and dramatic, dark makeup. The clothes, which do promote a 1970s vibe, are also visibly alluring in their sharp silhouettes and deep colors and textures.

The Fall/Winter 2012 collection has not yet hit the red carpet. In fact, the only two people seen in Miuccia’s newest masterpiece are the two Anna’s: Anna Dello Russo and Anna Wintour.

Do you think the video does the Fall/Winter collection justice?

Who would you like to see wearing this collection on the red carpet?

Dianna Agron In Prada – 2012 Giffoni Film Festival

Dianna Agron skipped out on all the Teen Choice Awards fun, for a sunny Sunday afternoon on the red carpet at the 2012 Giffoni Film Festival held in Giffoni Valle Piana, Italy.

The ‘Glee’ actress donned a Prada cap sleeve dress with an A-line skirt and a bold print.

Staying within the Prada family, she accessorized her colourful look with Miu Miu glitter cat-eye sunglasses and metallic gold thong sandals accented with red stones.

Iron straight blonde tresses, a silver Dana Rebecca Designs ‘Lauren Joy’ necklace and a gorgeous bright raspberry lip matte lip colour completed her relaxed look.

For most film festivals this look would be too laid back, but this look is appropriate for this particular event.

You may remember that Madonna was the first to bring these fun shades to the red carpet last year.

Celebrities Love…Prada ‘Pyramide’ Bag

The Prada ‘Pyramide’ Spring 2012 sleek three-dimensional must-have bag is crafted from Saffiano leather and features a metal-clasp fastening.

With its sporty feel and ability to add chic elegance to any look, it’s no wonder celebrities can’t get enough of this bag.

The most recent sighting was Zooey Deschanel. She opted for a lemon version to go with her shocking tights-free look.

Nude goes with pretty much anything, so Miranda Kerr will have no trouble finding a look to go with her Prada bag.

Florence Welch is never one to be afraid of colour. Wearing an orange floral-print dress with the same lemon bag as Zooey. The colour pops didn’t end there as she wore a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood for Roksanda Ilincic tri-colour pumps.

Diane Kruger was one of the first to be seen carrying this bag. Her baby-blue bag provides a summery hue to her off-duty look.

Diane may have been one of the first, but January Jones has had the most sightings with her black Prada bag. She barely leaves home without it.

I love Zooey’s and Florence’s lemon bag. Which do you favour?

You can buy this bag in nude and black from Neiman Marcus.

Anna Dello Russo In Prada – Spring 2013 Milan Menswear Fashion Week

Anna Dello Russo is known for her crazy headwear, so it was no surprise to see her don a ‘Bambolina’ hat by her favourite milliner Alan Journo during Milan Menswear Fashion Week.

Dressed in a Prada Fall 2012 look, the Editor-at-large for Vogue Nippon stood out wearing a sleeveless version of the look with a 70s style print which hit the runway back in March – it is summer after all.

I love the look, much more than the Peter Pilotto, but those veiled fascinators are a bit stale. They were interesting three seasons ago, but now not so much.

The rest of her styling I do love. She carried a Prada Fall 2012 tote with a contrasting but equally eye-popping print with a Ca&Lou bracelet and statement earrings.

Does she still have it? Or are you tired of her freaky fascinators?

Audrey Tautou In Prada – ‘Therese Desqueyroux’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Closing Ceremony

With Diane Kruger’s Christian Dior Couture ballgown and Melanie Doutey’s uber sexy Pucci gown, you’d be forgiven for not recognising that it was actually Audrey Tautou’s night this evening as she stars in ‘Therese Desqueyroux’.

Joining her co-stars on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet, the French actress was upstaged somewhat, but she still looked delightful in her vintage-inspired Prada dress.

The cream tea-length dress with an embroidered bodice and full pleated skirt was simply styled with nude pumps.

A cheeky rouge pout and voluminous waves completed her retro look.

Undeniable chic, as always.
