2016 National Board of Review

The National Board of Review Gala was hosted on January 4, 2017 in New York City and attended by a namedrop-worthy guest list.

Maggie Gyllenhaal: Graphic playfulness and an asymmetrical silhouette kept the actress’s Marni Resort 2017 dress fresh, but I would have loved to see a thin belt to provide some waist contouring.

Naomie Harris: Taking the plunge, Naomie nixed a dress in favour of a Brandon Maxwell Spring 2017 wide-leg jumpsuit that moved beautifully when she walked.

Amy Adams: Lovely in lace, the actress wore a Marchesa Pre-Fall 2017 embroidered dress that ultimately left me with the urge to cut off the bell sleeves while also securing a more nude underlining for the bodice.

Teresa Palmer In Prada – ‘Point Break’ LA Premiere

Teresa Palmer In Prada - 'Point Break' LA Premiere

Teresa Palmer attended the premiere of ‘Point Break’ at TCL Chinese Theatre on Tuesday (December 15) in Hollywood, California.

The Australian actress wore a dark-grey Prada sequinned gown which I found myself swooning over.

As you know that emotion is usually only felt when Lea Seydoux or Gemma Arterton wear Prada, so I will pray that this signals that the tide is turning when it comes to red carpet gowns from Prada.

It wasn’t only the dress which left me in awe; both Teresa’s sleek updo and sultry dark cherry lip played their part.

European Film Awards 2015

European Film Awards 2015

The 2015 European Film Awards took place on Saturday (December 12) in Berlin, Germany.

Elisa Sednaoui: It’s amazing what stones, Swarovski crystals and glass tubes embroidery can do to take the simple silhouette of this Prada dress into a gorgeous piece full of mystic.

Alexander Skarsgard: The handsome actor made a return to the red carpet decked out in a perfectly tailored Prada tuxedo in a warm chocolately hue, which marries modern verse and fitted elegance.

Miley Cyrus In Prada – ‘A Very Murray Christmas New York Premiere

Miley Cyrus In Prada - ‘A Very Murray Christmas New York Premiere

Miley Cyrus attended the ‘A Very Murray Christmas’ New York premiere on Wednesday (December 2) in New York City.

The singer wore a Prada white organza dress embellished with stones, crystals, sequin embroidery and plastic geometric elements that created a precious patchwork.

Teamed with socks accented with plastic and metal applications and Prada sandals, I have to be quite honest and say I don’t find myself hating the outfit.

I find it fun and festive without too much comical value.

The only thing I really dislike here is her hair.

The London Evening Standard Theatre Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The London Evening Standard Theatre Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of those who joined Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Kate Beckinsale and Nicole Kidman on the red carpet for the London Evening Standard Theatre Awards held at The Old Vic Theatre on Sunday (November 22) in London, England.

Salma Hayek: As you know I’m a huge advocate for Sexy Salma, but ay caramba this is perhaps a bit too much. As pretty as this Alexander McQueen ruffled gown is, ALL I can focus on are the twins.

Gemma Arterton: Like Lea Seydoux, Gemma always seems to have magic moments in Prada, but I wasn’t so enamoured by this look on this occasion. The colour is pretty, but the style fell way short for an awards ceremony.

Ruth Wilson: There was plenty of glamour imbued in Ruth’s Reem Acra gown which sparkled under the bright lights on the red carpet. Ruth usually takes a risk, so this was a rare princess moment which she totally nailed.

Lea Seydoux In Prada – ‘Spectre’ Beijing Premiere

Lea Seydoux In Prada - 'Spectre' Beijing Premiere

Lea Seydoux attended premiere of her new movie, ‘Spectre’ earlier today (November 12) in Beijing, China, which marks the final stop for her on what has been an epic tour.

Before we all slump into a deep depression, lets marvel at the beauty of Lea’s latest, and final look, from Prada styled with Chopard jewels.

Inspired by the William Travilla white dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in the 1955 film ‘The Seven Year Itch’, I love how the graceful pleats which cascades through this floor-length Prada gown lend ethereal volume to the sultry silhouette.

The classic Bond girl femme fatale edge was imbued into this look via her red pout and matching nails which complemented the red crystal embroidered double satin belt.

I am sure you will agree that she started and ended on a high, without a bum note in-between.
