Diane Kruger In Prada – 2017 Met Gala

Diane Kruger attended the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1).

The actress and fashion lover wore a custom Prada gown accented with a gold bracelet and baby blue clutch.

Avant garde? No. Completely dramatic in its own rite? Most definitely. The gold beaded designs are really beautiful and whilst you cannot see it here, the back is sans beading and has a really fabulous draped detail.

I’m absolutely crazy about her choice of carrying a seemingly unrelated light blue clutch, and her makeup is perfection. Her radiant skin, light pink lips and flushed cheeks have her looking half her age.

Naomi Watts In Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs & Prada – The Turtle Conservancy’s Fourth Annual Turtle Ball, ‘Chuck’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere & ‘3 Generations’ Screening

Naomi Watts made her rounds in New York City at both the Tribeca Film Festival and The Turtle Conservancy’s Fourth Annual Turtle Ball.

The Turtle Conservancy’s Fourth Annual Turtle Ball – At the event on Monday (April 17), Naomi wore a tea-length pale blush dress from Miu Miu’s Fall 2017 collection. It’s perfect. I love the playful red accents at the collar and the vintage inspired ruffled yoke front and center.

‘Chuck’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere- On Friday (April 28) Naomi hit the red carpet in a Marc Jacobs Fall 2017 outfit. It’s how she balances elegance and casual sophistication that makes this look work so well, pairing the slouchy long sleeved sweater dress with a sparkling fringe mini skirt.

‘3 Generations’ Screening – On Sunday (April 30) She stepped out in a Prada dress with Prada shoes and Delfina Delettrez rings. After back-to-back nude looks, this floral embroidered and beaded calf length dress was a breath of fresh air.

As usual, in all three looks Naomi is the definition of classic elegance.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Between the 2017 Time 100 Gala in New York City, to a Hollywood premiere and a special screening in London, there were plenty of reasons for the men to be out in force on Tuesday (April 25).

Riz Ahmed: I applaud Riz for stepping outside the navy and black box to wear this camel Prada Spring 2017 suit—and to wear it so well—at the Time 100 Gala. However, I do question the black dress shirt and brown loafers.

Orlando Bloom: At a special screening of ‘Unlocked’ in London, the actor was casually sharp in a Dior Homme blue suit enhanced by the patterned shirt underneath that precluded the need for a tie.

Ryan Reynolds: Also at the Time 100 Gala, Ryan went for a more classic route in a Brunello Cucinelli navy tux that was handsomely polished for the occasion.

2017 Time 100 Gala Red Carpet Roundup

There were many more looks to grace the red carpet for the 2017 Time 100 Gala on Tuesday (April 25) in New York City.

Naomi Campbell: The supermodel opted for an Alaia piece which was selected not only to colour coordinate with the step and repeat, but also because of its fine craftsmanship. Yes, it’s a bit heavy for spring, but Naomi has always marched to the beat of her own drum.

Margot Robbie: While I wish this Prada dress wasn’t so shapeless, the colourful embellishments – which reminded me of 100s and 1000s – the pale yellow hue, Delfina Delettrez jewels and the pretty pink purse did soften my stance and I have to say I love the look.

Ashley Graham: I love Ashley’s style, but I couldn’t get on board with what I feel is the over-styling of this look – starting with that choker. The look consisted of a Cami NYC camisole, Nili Lotan ‘Maya’ maxi skirt and Fleur Du Mal corset.

‘The Sense Of An Ending’ Gala Screening

It was an all British affair for the gala screening of ‘The Sense of an Ending’ at Picturehouse Central on Thursday (April 6) in London.

Stacy Martin: I love the carefree spirit of Stacy’s modish Prada Spring 2017 look which features the new update on the infamous pout print. The look was of course styled with chunky Prada sandals.

Billy Howle: Sleek and contemporary, this Gucci Resort 2017 black-azure Monaco suit is cut in a slim fit to embody the brand’s streamlined aesthetic. Thankfully Billy’s trousers reached his ankles, unlike the model in the look book.

Freya Mavor: I have stated several times that I am very much fatigue by sheer gowns, but on the odd occasion – like on Sienna Miller – I can find myself warming to the odd one or two. On this occasion I found myself mildly horrified by Freya’s decision to wear white boy shorts with her Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2017 black sheer dress. Surely black would’ve been a better option. Further proof that this trend needs to die. ASAP.

Sarah Paulson In Prada – PaleyFest Los Angeles: ‘American Horror Story’

Sarah Paulson joined her cast mates for the ‘American Horror Story: Roanoke’ event during PaleyFest on Sunday (March 26) in Hollywood, California.

Despite the shimmer and shine illuminating off this Prada dress, the long sleeves and modest neckline ensures a demure finish.

Styled with polished Eva Fehren jewellery, Tamara Mellon ‘Vertigo’ pumps and a Judith Leiber box clutch, I love the nonchalant feel of this look.

With this being Sarah’s second successful Prada look, perhaps we’re seeing a Paulson x Prada union in the making.

Build Series Presents: ‘The Blackcoat’s Daughter’

Emma Roberts, Kiernan Shipka and Lucy Boynton were back on the red carpet for the Build Series to discuss ‘The Blackcoat’s Daughter’ on Thursday (March 23) in New York City, following the premiere.

Emma Roberts: Despite not being a huge fan of the sheer trend, I much prefer this Coach Pre-Fall 2017 look over her Chloe dress, as I feel the bow appliqués adds a playful vibe as do the sparkling Mary Janes.

Kiernan Shipka: When opting for a sequined skirt for daytime, it’s always best to keep your styling pieces classic; which is exactly what Kiernan does with this Prada look.

Lucy Boynton: Opting for her second Prada look in so many days, it’s hard not to notice the similarities between the two outfits. Going forward I would like see her delve deeper into that Prada showroom give us something new and stimulating.
