Olga Kurylenko In Prada – ‘The Water Diviner’ Sydney Premiere

Olga Kurylenko In Prada - 'The Water Diviner' Sydney Premiere

Olga Kurylenko attended the world premiere of ‘The Water Diviner’ held at the State Theatre on Tuesday (December 2) in Sydney, Australia.

The gorgeous actress wore a Prada mint-green multi-layered silk georgette gown with a cross-over bodice and neck-tie that draped softly down her back.

This is yet another example of how frustratingly inconsistent Prada’s red carpet gowns are, as Olga is a vision of perfection here, even though I wish she would return to her brunette locks.

Soft, elegant and feminine, perhaps Miuccia’s red carpet mantra going forward should be less is more.

Tiffany & Co. jewels rounded out her stunning red carpet look.

Nicole Kidman In Prada – Agon Channel Launch Party

Nicole Kidman In Prada - Agon Channel Launch Party

Following the London premiere of her latest movie, ‘Paddington’, Nicole Kidman attended the Agon Channel launch party photocall on Wednesday (November 26) in Milan, Italy.

The actress wore Prada, again.

Without the crystal trims it would appear that this jacquard frock is from the Spring 2015 collection.

While I loved the playful look from the London premiere, this doesn’t work for me in any way, shape or form, proving that when it comes to red carpet dressing, Prada is very hit and miss, with more of the latter than the former.

This look is far too stuffy for Nicole. I don’t find the dress to be particularly flattering and I’m not a fan of the high neckline.

Apart from her gorgeous face and soft, wavy updo, there is nothing positive I can take from this look.

Nicole Kidman In Prada – ‘Paddington’ London Premiere

Nicole Kidman In Prada - 'Paddington' London Premiere

Nicole Kidman attended the world premiere of ‘Paddington’ held at Odeon Leicester Square on Sunday (November 23) in London, England.

Keeping her curly updo shielded from the rain with a clear umbrella, I love the playful exuberance I’m getting from this Prada Resort 2015 trompe l’oeil black and sheer-sleeved frock. Perfect for a kids’ movie.

Prada seem to be sticking to this crystal-accented formula for their red carpet dresses; you may remember that this same detailing featured on both Jessica Chastain’s and Felicity Jones’ Prada frocks.

Other than her brolly, the other noteworthy accessory here is Nicole’s Christian Louboutin ‘Allegra’ cut-out shoe boots.

‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ London Premiere Menswear Roundup

'The Hunger Games Mockingjay – Part 1' Menswear Roundup

We’ve seen what the leading ladies wore for the world premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ held at Odeon Leicester Square on Monday (November 10) in London, England, so here’s a quick roundup of the leading men.

Liam Hemsworth: Decked out in a Dolce & Gabbana, the actor looked very handsome wearing a classic three-piece suit with a polka dot pocket square. I hope he serves up some variation in his suiting this time around. I’m not holding my breath.

Josh Hutcherson: Now this is more like it. Josh electrified the red carpet wearing a cobalt-blue Ralph Lauren Black Label suit styled with Christian Louboutin shoes.

Sam Claflin: Usually the one I look to for his unique take on mens red carpet dressing, as he tends to steer away from opting for just black all the time, I am surprised by how much I didn’t like this Prada look. I would only save the double-breasted bordeaux jacket, as I was put off by the strict buttoned up shirt and grey trousers, plus I am missing his signature printed scarf which would’ve jazzed up this look.

Looking at Sam, it’s clear that in parts the lighting at this event was too harsh.

Katherine Waterston In Prada – ‘Inherent Vice’ AFI FEST 2014 Gala Premiere

Katherine Waterston In Prada - 'Inherent Vice' AFI FEST 2014 Gala Premiere

Katherine Waterston attended the AFI FEST 2014 gala premiere of ‘Inherent Vice’ held at the Egyptian Theatre on Saturday (November 8) in Hollywood, California.

Proving that Prada can whip up a stunning gown, she wore a black gown suspended by silver leather straps highlighting the plunging V-neckline and surrounding the waist, taking inspiration from the Fall 2014 collection.

With no clutch or jewels to speak of, the look was styled with a chic updo and neutral makeup.

This is a classic case of less = more.

Felicity Jones In Prada – Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards

Felicity Jones In Prada - Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards

Felicity Jones attended the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ Governors Awards at The Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center on Saturday (November 8) in Hollywood, California.

Prada has to go down as the most frustrating inconsistent brand when it comes to off-runway gowns.

They have some excruciatingly bad moments (Nicole Kidman and Kristen Wiig) and some breathtakingly brilliant moments (Emily Blunt and Gemma Arterton).

This would be one of the good moments, although they can’t be held accountable for that lopsided hairdo.

Cut in a simple silhouette to which we have become accustomed when it comes to Miss Jones, the embellishments prevent this from being a snooze. Styled with a midnight-blue Edie Parker clutch and bold red lip, the look was given an edge with a silver ear cuff.
