Jordana Brewster In Prabal Gurung – 28th Annual Environmental Media Awards

Jordana Brewster joined Leona Lewis on the red carpet for the 28th Annual Environmental Media Awards in LA on Tuesday (May 22).

The actress also wore Prabal Gurung; selecting a pretty pink floral fil coupe dress from the Resort 2018 collection that revels in unapologetic femininity.

Adding at touch of velvet with her pink clutch, she didn’t go full matchy matchy as she selecting gold Chloe Gosselin ‘Narcissus’ sandals.

If you’re having a mild case of déjà vu, that’s because Laura Harrier wore a pink dress from the same collection last year.

Leona Lewis In Atelier Prabal Gurung – 28th Annual Environmental Media Awards

Fierce environmentalists and animal rights defender Leona Lewis was one of the presenters at the 28th Annual Environmental Media Awards in LA on Tuesday (May 22).

The British singer wore a white Atelier Prabal Gurung gown, which despite the asymmetric lines and cut-outs is quite simple in design.

If I was to nitpick I would say I’m not a huge fan of the top half, especially with the issues on the right-hand side.

What really strikes me here is Leona’s hair and makeup. She’s glowing.

Giuseppe Zanotti rose-gold sandals completed her look.

Even though we had seen Atelier Prabal Gurung on Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss, Diane Kruger and Issa Rae, the line had its official launch at the 2018 Met Gala with a host of gorgeous girls including Diane Kruger, Ashley Graham, Gabrielle Union, Ming Xi, Eliza Gonzalez, Deepika Padukone, Hikari Mori, and Hailee Steinfeld.

Models @ 2018 Met Gala

Naturally, the models were out in force for the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City. Here’s what these ‘heavenly bodies’ had on.

Ashley Graham: Channeling a bronzed goddess moment, the model donned an Atelier Prabal Gurung sequin-encrusted gown that introduced a dramatic, Met-ready sensibility with the long, satin-edged cape. The leg jut was put to work, with Taski jewels and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals completing the look.

Bella Hadid: I’m sure many will be raising their hands in praise that Bella opted for something a bit more covered than her naked bodysuit from last year’s Met Gala. This custom Chrome Hearts x Gareth Pugh design riffed on sinner and saint with the dark glamour of the latex corset and sculptural, villainous cape and fingerless gloves. This would have been all bad-girl were it not for the cross necklace and cross-embroidered veil that trailed behind her.

Diane Kruger In Prabal Gurung – 2018 Met Gala

Diane Kruger had me absolutely enchanted the minute she alighted the carpet at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City.

Her satiny-blue Prabal Gurung confection was indeed heavenly, to say the least.

The magic of the design was that it boasted a certain purity of sweet innocence in the gold filigree, sculpted mini with the elaboration of form in the pouf sleeves and long train.

I love the addition of the netted hair piece to drive home the fairytale-meets-angelic form.

Hailee Steinfeld In Atelier Prabal Gurung – 2018 Met Gala

Proving that headpieces are one of the key accessories of the night, Hailee Steinfeld stepped out at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City alongside Kerry Washington, Eiza Gonzalez and Livia Firth.

Her Atelier Prabal Gurung gown is a play of dichotomies with the angelic white hue and ruffled back being contrasted by the up-to-there-slit.

The TASAKI Atelier tiara and pearls and multiple necklace strands helped the outfit go from being a pretty red carpet dress to being something special for the grand occasion.

Deepika Padukone In Atelier Prabal Gurung – 2018 Met Gala

Deepika Padukone was also in attendance at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City.

This Atelier Prabal Gurung gown relied on the siren song of the powerful shade of crimson for dramatic impact.

With the sculptural shoulder detail and artful draping, it was a beautiful piece to behold—and I love the addition of the Tasaki Atelier serpentine earrings.

But, as was the case with Gabrielle Union’s Prabal Gurung dress, I could have easily pictured this look at another non-thematic event like Cannes, for instance.
