Dania Ramirez In Polite & Sandro – Comic-Con 2017: ‘Once Upon A Time’ Press Line & Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con Party

Two days, two dresses for Dania Ramirez at Comic-Con 2017 in San Diego, where she attended the ‘Once Upon A Time’ panel on Saturday (July 22) before heading to the Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con Party to join Tessa Thompson later that day.

‘Once Upon A Time’ Press Line: I adore the whimsical flirtation of this feminine Polite Spring 2017 corset frock enlivened by its polka dots and abstracted camo print. With the big, bold patterning, it had a nearly cartoonish-inspired chicness that was simply made for Comic-Con. Metallic Loriblu sandals added just the right glint to wrap up the look.

Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con Party: While this Sandro lace dress was a perfectly suitable LBD, it wasn’t all that exciting—especially not after her fun first look. So, I’m glad she upped the ante with her red mini handbag, Racine Caree lace-up heels, and a loose ponytail.

Mena Suvari In Polite – ‘Becks’ 2017 Outfest Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival Screening

Mena Suvari wore a Polite Spring 2017 two-piece look with Tamara Mellon sandals to the 2017 Outfest Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival screening of ‘Becks’ on Sunday (July 9).

I love how the playfulness of the polka dots infuses modern flair to the retro silhouette.

The undone ponytail and effortless styling purposely kept this look breezy and effortless.

Are you as charmed by this hybrid look as I am?

Chloe Bailey & Halle Bailey In Polite – Nickelodeon’s 2017 Kids’ Choice Awards

Sister act Chloe Bailey and Halle Bailey attended the 2017 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (March 11) in LA.

The young starlets generally create a sense of matching harmony with their looks, and this time out was no different.

While Chloe wore an ensemble from the Polite Spring 2016 collection and Halle’s hailed from Spring 2017, there was still plenty of synchronization among the two; the common threads being the shades of green and plenty of graphically punchy attitude.

I did like the modifications made to Chloe’s look, as the short sleeve top and side-oriented train provided a lighter, more youthful touch than the original presentation. Halle, meanwhile, made her top into a long-sleeve endeavor with polka dots and frill echoing the ruffles of her skirt.

Tracee Ellis Ross In Polite, Zuhair Murad Couture & Paule Ka – BAFTA Tea Party & 2017 Golden Globe Awards

Tracee Ellis Ross attended the BAFTA Tea Party at the Four Seasons in Los Angeles on January 7, 2017 before having a grand night at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards on January 8 that had her winning Best Actress in a TV Comedy for ‘Black-ish.’

BAFTA Tea Party: The actress marched to the beat of her own drum in this Polite floral-print mock neck pleated dress. From the waist down, the look was fine enough. Unfortunately, the long-sleeved top half proved to be unflattering and cumbersome with too much fabric coverage.

2017 Golden Globe Awards: It’s our first Zuhair Murad sighting of the year, as Tracee worked the sheer trend in this strapless, corset Spring 2016 Couture gown from the designer known for embellished, sexy statements. Her fingers were nearly more clothed than she, as she stacked on all manners of rings to round out the look.

Golden Globe Awards Party: Wearing a loose-fitted Paule Ka dress for the Globes parties, my feeling once again is just too much fabric. The colour is great, the ball clutch is a cute touch, but I feel like this dress is overwhelming Tracee.
