Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Despite the horrible weather in the UK on Sunday, many stars wore summery looks to The Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup Polo Final at the Cowdray Park Polo Club in Midhurst, England.

Leigh Lezark: The Misshapes DJ wore a white Peter Pilotto Spring 2011 dress. Her silk dress is perfect for the occasion whilst still displaying her edgy style. She opted for Nicholas Kirkwood python silver heels. I wish on this occasion she opted for the same Kirkwood heels worn by Rose Byrne.

Chloe Moretz: The teen actress appears to be taller from the last time we saw her on the red carpet. She wore a simple ivory vest with matching cropped pants, but made the look interesting by adding a straw boater hat, gold long necklace and lilac sandals.

Tamsin Egerton: The English actress opted to wear the Jonathan Saunders Spring 2011 dress recently worn on two separate occasions by Samantha Cameron. The dress really misses the runway belt, so I prefer how it was worn by Samantha. Nicholas Kirkwood sandals completed her look.

Carey Mulligan selected look from Peter Pilotto’s Spring 2011 collection to wear to the Los Angeles Times ‘Young Hollywood’ Roundtable event back in November.

The darling young actress wore a slightly modified version of the dreamy chiffon dress, as her version features a shorter, fully printed lower half.

Carey kept things simple and only added a pair of blue satin peep-toe heels to her look. She wore her makeup light and wore her hair in a loosely pulled back bun.

Last week Samantha Cameron also wore the same modified version of the dress to meet President Obama and wife Michelle Obama on the steps of 10 Downing Street.

Also keeping her look minimal, Samantha added a pair of grey platform heels to the dress. She wore her down and straight and kept her makeup light.

Although both women look great in the dress, I’m voting for Carey on this one.

I love her cool but casual hairstyle and think the dress suits her eclectic style more. She brings a bit more attitude to the look than Samantha.

Michelle Obama and Samantha Cameron met again today on the steps of 10 Downing Street in London, on Day 1 of the Obama’s state visit.

The two fashion savvy ladies both wore British based designers.

Mrs O opted to wear Roksanda Ilincic who she’s worn before.

On this occasion she wore a purple drape neck Roksanda Ilincic Pre-Fall 2011 dress with a Narciso Rodriguez blue coat. The look was accessorized with a black belt and black kitten heels.

Purple appears to be Mrs O’s signature colour.

She’s radiant in purple.

Samantha Cameron opted to wear Peter Pilotto.

The design duo are having a great day because Rose Byrne also wore a look from their Spring 2011 collection last night.

Samantha’s Peter Pilotto dress is the same shorten version Carey Mulligan wore to the Los Angeles Times “Young Hollywood” Roundtable last year.

Grey pumps (thank god they’re not black) completed her look.

Rose Byrne was at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City last night to attend the Volkswagen, MoMA & MoMA PS1 celebratory dinner.

She wore a Peter Pilotto long sleeve dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

I’m so glad to see this brand is being worn more my celebrities, as it doesn’t get enough attention as it deserves.

Rose’s dark blue and light grey pattern silk dress was worn with the runway belt, unlike Sandra Ng Kwan Yu who not only opted to shorten the dress, but also wear a different belt.

The ‘Bridesmaid’ actress accessorized with an aqua ring and a pair of Brian Atwood ‘Betsy’ sandals which are the most delightful finishing touch.

Tang Wei arrived at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival “Wu Xia” Photocall in very good spirits.

Astrid Berges-Frisbey has made Chanel so boring for me over the past few days, that I’m glad Tang Wei was able breath life and vitality into this Chanel Spring 2011 ensemble.

I would never have picked this look for any celebrity in the fear it would look matronly or costumey, but I love it on Tang Wei who is effervescent and charming.

Her jewels are complementary and I love her black strappy shoe choice.

I know many of you have issues with this tea length, but I love it on this occasion.

Freida Pinto was spotted out in London last night.

The Indian actress wore a very summery Peter Pilotto ‘Thessa’ dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

Her taupe fine-knit cotton dress with folds, drapes and beautiful multi-coloured print was accented with a red belt.

She opted to wear her eye-catching dress with two-tone ballerina flats whilst carrying a Mulberry Bayswater bag.
