Katharine McPhee In Peter Pilotto – 9th Annual Style Awards

Katharine McPhee clashed her prints on the red carpet at this year’s 9th Annual Style Awards at New York City’s Lincoln Center last night.

The singer-turned-actress looked lovely in a Peter Pilotto dress from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection.

The print mismatch between the shift and the R&Y Augousti clutch is perfection – as are the Charlotte Olympia ‘Dolly’ platform pumps. I do, however, think that her outfit would work better in the daytime rather than for an evening soiree.

Do you agree?

Olga Kurylenko In Peter Pilotto – 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree

It appears that Olga Kurylenko didn’t get the memo that InStyle was throwing a Summer Soiree.

The Ukrainian former Bond girl arrived on the red carpet at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, California, wearing a Peter Pilotto Fall 2012 dress.

Please don’t get me wrong, she looks gorgeous in this velvet cut-out dress with a mesmerizing digital print, but the fact I’ve said ‘velvet’ and ‘summer soiree’ in this post is baffling beyond belief.

Side-swept glossy locks, a black Christian Louboutin clutch and Christian Louboutin ‘Crosspiga’ pumps completed her sweltering look.

Who Wore Peter Pilotto Better? Miranda Kerr or Anna Dello Russo

Back in November, Miranda Kerr opted to wear something sporty, modern and futuristic yet still lady-like when she attended the Museum of Modern Art’s 4th Annual Film Benefit, ‘A Tribute To Pedro Almodovar’ in New York City.

Donning a Peter Pilotto Spring 2012 dress, she stood out from all the other celebs wearing Chanel at this event.

Lacquered locks, Nicholas Kirkwood heels, a Chanel clutch and red lippie completed her look.

Anna Dello Russo’s whole existence is based on standing out.

The street-style star was pretty uninspiring last season, but she was back to her best as she was spotted arriving at the Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2013 runway show during Milan Menswear Fashion Week on Saturday afternoon wearing the same Peter Pilotto dress.

She styled her look with a Prada clutch, cool blue aviators, Manolo Blahnik heels, CA&LOU bracelets and earrings from her self-designed H&M collection.

Whilst I have to say, begrudgingly, that I do love this look on Anna, I prefer Miranda’s Nicholas Kirkwood heels with this dress so she wins for me.

Jaime King In Peter Pilotto – Persol Magnificent Obsessions: 30 Stories Of Craftmanship In Film Event

Jaime King joined Zoe Saldana on the red carpet for the Persol Magnificent Obsessions: 30 Stories Of Craftmanship In Film Event at Museum of the Moving Image in the Queens borough of New York City last night.

The actress wore a Peter Pilotto Spring 2012 dress.

Her racer front-and-back dress features the designer’s signature hyper-vivid digital prints.

It looks like she had the same idea as Zoe by wearing her hair back to showcase the sunglasses at this event.

From the ankles – or in this case the calves – up, I like this look.

The gold Christian Louboutin Lady Max spike-embellished metallic leather sandals are a bold but odd choice with this sky-blue dress. I would’ve gone for silver to complement the grey.

What do you think? Yay or nay on her footwear choice?

Jessica Brown-Findlay In Peter Pilotto – ‘Prometheus’ London Premiere

Jessica Brown-Findlay was one of the many stars to attend the ‘Prometheus’ world premiere in London yesterday.

The British actress best known for her role as Lady Sybil Crawley in ‘Downton Abbey’ wore a Peter Pilotto Spring 2012 dress.

Her halter dress has a green, blue and gold top with a nude skirt embellished with gold embroidery.

Opting for carefree naturally curly tresses, Jessica styled her look with nude accessories and a gold bracelet.

A pretty petal-pink lip colour provided the finishing touch.

This look would’ve been perfect for me had Jessica worn her hair up.

Elizabeth Banks In Peter Pilotto – ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’ New York Premiere

As you know, Elizabeth Banks has been my favourite on the red carpet this year so far, but I wasn’t crazy about the dress she wore to last night’s New York premiere for her latest movie, ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’.

Her Peter Pilotto Fall 2012 beaded floral-print dress, with cut-outs on the bodice, is stunning on the runway, but I’m not feeling it on Elizabeth.

I think it has something to do with the styling. Maybe it would’ve worked better for me if she had stripped back the glamour and worked a simpler look.

A black clutch and Walter Steiger black peep-toes completed the look.

Taylor Schilling In Peter Pilotto – ‘The Lucky One’ London Premiere

It was yet another cold and rain-soaked red carpet for ‘The Lucky One’ premiere in London this evening.

Taylor Schilling didn’t let that dampen her spirits, as she hit the red carpet wearing a vivid tropical-coloured Peter Pilotto Spring 2012 dress.

Her lace-effect embroidered chiffon and silk-organza dress with scuba-inspired trims and a large black zip was teamed with black PVC-accented pumps.

The actress let her dress do all the talking as she opted to go hands-free in order to cosy up to co-star Zac Efron.

Silver Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and sleek straight locks completed her look.
