I can’t believe I almost missed this.

Michelle Obama was speaking at the James J. Peters Veterans Administration Medical Center in New York last week with with Jill Biden.

The First Lady wore a tiger print blouse with a scoop neck with structured shoulders from Peter Pilotto’s Fall 2009 collection.

She paired the blouse with maroon wide-leg trousers and black flats.

Michelle continues to show support for up and coming designers, first Jason Wu now the London based designers Peter Pilotto and partner Christopher De Vos.

This is so admirable and I hope this is something she continues to do in the future.

Punchbowl Pub

Helena Christensen was seen leaving Guy Richie’s pub last night looking gorgeous wearing a v-neck Isabel Marant Fall 2009 animal print dress.

She wore her dress with black satin shoes, and kept off the bitter November chill with a grey jacket.

The Terrence Higgins Trust Supper Club

What stands out most from Jacquetta Wheeler’s look is her Temperley London cropped leather studded jacket.

The rest of her look included black pieces studded with gold, from her LBD to her clutch.

At first I thought Heidi Range’s dress was from Victoria Beckham’s Fall 2009 collection, but she is actually wearing a French Connection long sleeved Annie dress.

The Sugababes are known for mostly wearing mini dresses, so this is a refreshing change for Heidi.

Red’s Hot Women Awards

Jo Whiley looked good wearing a Peter Pilotto Fall 2009 skirt, paired with a black blazer, black tee and Gucci triple platform pumps.

Weather Girls get a bad rap, but GMTV’s Andrea McLean has to be one of the most stylish Weather Girls I’ve ever seen.

I’m loving her cropped jumpsuit.

Opening Night of “Calendar Girls”

Kelly Brook’s grey dress looks to be more appropriate for the boudoir than red carpet, but you can’t help falling in love with Kelly as she ALWAYS has a gracious smile on her face despite being knocked time and time again.

Putting away her sexy corset dresses for the night, Kelly Brook wore a black Louis Vuitton Fall 2008 dress which had a peplum at the waist, and a panel of embellishments on the front of her dress.

Her dress was paired with Christian Dior Glam booties.

You may remember that Satsuki Mitchell wore this same dress to the “Defiance” London Premiere back in January this year.

I have several problems with Katherine Jenkins and her Jil Sander sculpted dress.

Firstly she would have looked amazing in the orange dress. So many people wore black on this red carpet, so she would have really stood out in orange.

The most important structured drape on one side of the dress looks really limp, therefore ruining the whole effect of the dress.

Lastly she folded the detail on the shoulder when it should have stood up like on the runway.

This is such a great dress, but she didn’t do it any justice. She might as well have just worn a pencil dress for all the love she is giving to this architectural masterpiece.

Katherine’s look was paired with YSL heels and a black clutch.

I would have been totally in love with Louise Redknapp in her Peter Pilotto digital print dress, had she not worn those ankle boots.

She’s not a particularly tall lady and those boots make her legs look really short.

Dannii Minougue is stunning as always wearing a leopard print strapless Lisa Ho Spring 2009 gown.

The Aussie continues to support designers from her home country both on the red carpet and on the X Factor.

Dannii co-X Factor judge Cheryl Cole also hit the red carpet.

I love the her hot-off-the-runway (2 days to be exact) one-shouldered Chapurin Spring 2010 LBD with the sheer corseted panel on the waist, but it still lacks the wow factor I usually get from Cheryl.

Maybe my expectations are too high, as her everyday style is so impeccable.

Kimberly Walsh of Girls Aloud to walk the red carpet at this event and she wore a cute asymmetrical LBD, with a large rosette detail on the shoulder.

This dress was not a runway dress, but I remember it from the Temperley London Fall 2009 presentation I attended in February were I took a picture of Kimberley exact dress.

Nicola Roberts attended the Vivienne Westwood Spring 2010 show this weekend in Paris.

Bizarrely she wore a Vivienne Westwood Gold Label Lily wedding gown, which is the shorter version of Carrie Bradshaw’s wedding gown.

Her pretty wedding dress was given an edgy as she carried a Alexander McQueen skull knuckle duster whipsnake clutch, and Christian Louboutin Candy Stud Pumps.

Alexandra Burke needs to fire both her make-up artist and her stylist, because on this evidence neither are doing her any justice.

Yes her gown is white, but that doesn’t mean she needs to colour co-ordinate her eye shadow.

Black pumps with a white gown?  Really?

REALLY?

I applaud Myleene Klass for wearing such a risqué dress on a cold and rainy night, but this LBD screams I want to be on the front page in the morning.

Her feathered clutch is adorable though.

Mr & Mrs Kay aka Tess Daly and Vernon Kay walked the red carpet together still looking every much the loved up couple.

He wore a midnight blue suit, whilst she looked gorgeous in a nude shimmering fitted dress with a ruffled bib.

Do shoes come in a colour other than black these days?  I wonder because they seem to be paired with everything on the red carpet.

Socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson looked very happy to be at this event.

The socialite paired a Azzedine Alaia dress with hot red Charlotte Olympia shoes.

Michelle Keegan kept warm from the damp weather by wearing her cute pink Lipsy London heart layer dress which has a bejewelled waistband, with a black blazer.

Abbey Clancy continues to prove that she doesn’t own a dress that doesn’t expose her underwear.

I’m loving that new hair cut on Kara Tointon.  It’s much more sophisticated that the chavy look she had on Eastenders.

The actress thankfully went against the LBD theme and wore a silver sequined fan print dress.  With black pumps of course.

Newlyweds Gary Linekar and Danielle Bux walked the red carpet together.

He looked dapper in a navy suit, whilst she look very sexy in a strapless Dolce & Gabbana dress paired with black sash around her waist.

Although Emma Bunton went with the LBD trend, she did add a gold sequined cape to make her look more interesting.

Lisa Snowdon might as well have worn a LBD as her nude Whistles Abstract sequin dress and those thick tights are not doing her any favours.

What happened to the red carpet sex kitten?

Peter Pilotto’s Spring 2010 presentation was full of chic mini dress in bold colours.

Designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos vision was dusty, sun bleached landscapes of far-flung destinations.

I loved the prints which reminded me of the sun rising burning out the dark sky, or a dark yet colourful bonfire night.

The common colour was grey, often mixed with burnt orange or azure blue.

The mini dresses were far from typical, they were twisted, draped pleated and embellished to dramatic effect.

Despite the heavy colours everything felt really light.

It wasn’t only mini dresses that were featured. Jackets, high-waisted shorts, pleat-front pants, twisted skirts in layers of hidden pleats and tucks, cinched with belts.

The models looked powerful as they stomped the runway in their Nicholas Kirkwood heels.

This was a very enjoyable presentation, and I hope to see many of the pieces on the red carpet.

Here are some picture I took from my front row seat.

Can you spot the famous face in the background?

This is the finale which I shot on my camera.

At this point Sienna Miller could wear a bin liner and I would find something positive to say.  She really is on top of her game.

Yesterday was a very busy day in New York for the actress, as she was out and about promoting her movie “GI Joe”.  With each stop came a new look.

I’m not sure which order they took but her Peter Pilotto Fall 2009 dress which has been modified from the runway was my favourite look.

I love the marble print and the Isabel Marant booties she paired with the dress for her appearance on “106 and Park” at BET’s Studios.

On her way to appear on “The Early Show” Sienna looked gorgeous wearing a summery Diane von Furstenberg Resort 2010 floral printed dress and two-tone T-bar heels, whilst carrying her favourite YSL ‘Besace’ grey messenger bag.

For her appearance on the “Live with Regis and Kelly” the actress wore a Derek Lam Fall 2009 look including a sequined sleeveless top, gathered skirt and with gold gladiator heels.

Leaving her hotel Sienna was spotted wearing an ivory top, with black woven pants, and another favourite look was her raspberry ruffled plunge-neck dress worn with Chloé bow embellished sandals.

Which one was your favourite look?

After a long battle between Leighton Meester and Kate Bosworth, Kate was finally voted your Best Dressed this week.

Kate looked radiant, graceful and chic wearing a nude Rodarte dress to a dinner in London.  You admired her overall neutral look, and her complementary accessories.  Many of you commented that she wore the dress, whereas Emma Watson was worn by her Rodarte dress.

I was captivated by Amanda Seyfried, in her Peter Pilotto dress. It was colourful, bejeweled, and had an interesting series of drapes on either side of her hips.

I loved her accessories, especially those strappy gladiator heels.

Rihanna was spotted enjoying the LA nightlife with a few gal pals recently as she headed into the trendy Villa Lounge.

The singer was wearing a stunning multi-coloured Peter Pilotto print shield dress, which she wore with Pierry Hardy heels.

UK TV and Radio presenter Lisa Snowdon wore the same dress when she attended the Living Magazine’s 15th Birthday party in London last week.

Now we have not had much of a summer in the UK, so I understand the tights, but I wish she did not wear them, as she would have looked even better than she does here.

Rihanna wins this for me as she managed to find a pair of shoes that complimented this amazing dress so well.

The Peter Pilotto dress is available to purchase from MatchesFashion.com for only £578/€715.63/$1,016.61.
