InStyle Summer Soiree 2013

InStyle Summer Soiree

There were many more lovely ladies who attended the InStyle Summer Soiree held at the Mondrian Los Angeles in West Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

Darby Stanchfield: The ‘Scandal’ actress instantly caught my eye, not only because of the striking contrast between her gorgeous flame-red beehive and electric-blue drop-waist Paper London dress, but mostly because of her pronounced eyebrows, which gave the look a futuristic vibe, further punctuated by her sculptural Kzeniya clutch and Emporio Armani silver pumps.

Ashley Tisdale: Although this sleeveless Clover Canyon ‘Orchid Trip’ neoprene dress is very much expected from Ashley, I love the soft pastel pieces styled with the look. The black clutch is very much the odd man out here.

Analeigh Tipton: The actress was one of many who also opted for neutral tones, wearing a chic tunic top and matching trousers by Ermanno Scervino accented with a black waistband. Opting not to go with black accessories, she wore white Casadei sandals and carried a gold Stark clutch, with Dannijo earrings completing the look.

Lucy Hale In Paper London – mark’s 10th Birthday

Lucy Hale In Paper London - mark's 10th Birthday

Lucy Hale celebrated mark’s 10th birthday at Trump SoHo in New York City yesterday as the ambassador of the brand.

Working a chic updo and bold red lips, she wore a Paper London Spring 2013 ensemble consisting of a white tee with sheer inserts styled with a black sateen A-line skirt with a paper-bag waist and pleated details.

The look is really cute, young and fresh, with delightful pops of colour coming from the lip and blue suede Le Silla pumps; however, the visible bra pulls the look down a few notches.

Jayma Mays In Paper London - ‘The Smurfs 2? LA Premiere

Jayma Mays joined co-star Katy Perry on the blue carpet yesterday afternoon at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California, for the ‘Smurfs 2′ LA premiere.

The actress opted for a selection of colours which really popped against the blue carpet wearing a fuchsia-pink short-sleeve top and orange A-line skirt from Paper London’s Spring 2013 collection.

Eye-catching sexy satin open-toe booties amped up with an abstract floral print managed to upstage everything going on north of her ankles.

Do you think the shoes were a step too far in this colourful look, or are you just relieved she didn’t nullify her look with black or nude pumps?

Jayma Mays was also making her return to the red carpet yesterday evening – for the first time since the 2013 SAG Awards – when she attended the PaleyFest Icon Award presentation at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, California yesterday evening.

The ‘Glee’ actress wore a Paper London Spring 2012 dress.

Her sporty dress with colourful neon panelling and a pointy collar was styled with simple nude pumps; I wish she had opted for the same orange Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps as Miranda Kerr.

A wavy ponytail and glossy lips completed her look.

You may remember that Pippa Middleton wore this same dress to the US Open last year.

Pippa Middleton In Paper London – US Open

Pippa Middleton kept the home fires burning at the US Open in Flushing, New York City, yesterday.

Duchess Kate’s little sister wore a Raleigh (no pun intended) Dress by Paper London for the quarterfinal match between Australia’s Sam Stosur and Victoria Azarenka from Belarus.

The neon panelling is perfection with its mix of sporty prep (befitting the event) and on-trend flair (to add that extra something).

Pippa let the dress shine by keeping her hair and makeup simple and adding low-key accessories, including a Kate Spade New York Wicker Delavan Terrace bag and nude wedges.
