Eva Longoria In Pamella Roland - 'Devious Maids' LA Premiere

Eva Longoria attended the premiere of ‘Devious Maids,’ hosted yesterday at Bel-Air Bay Club in Beverly Hills, California.

While many of the TV show’s leading ladies opted for punchy cocktail dresses or fluid gowns, executive producer Eva paraded out a refreshing Pamella Roland Spring 2013 zipper jumpsuit.

Featuring a twist on a mock peplum waist, the blush-white design literally brought sexy back with sheer side and back panel insets.

My wish for this look was that the pants, which translated as a bit loose and long, were slightly more tailored, especially after viewing the architectural lookbook version.

The oversized envelope clutch also compromised the effect, as the bag was overwhelmingly large for my taste—and for Eva’s petite frame. Patent nude peep-toe pumps by Brian Atwood, minimal jewels and a pretty pink lippie were far less intrusive.

Jennifer Hudson In Pamella Roland - 28th Annual Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony

Alongside Usher, Jennifer Hudson was also one of the performers at the 28th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California yesterday evening.

I love Jennifer, jumpsuits and sequins, so I should be head-over-heels in love with this look.

Sadly this is not the case as the jumpsuit is just too tight, and in the most uncomfortable places.

This nude beaded one shoulder jumpsuit is dynamite; perfect for a performance look, so I wish she had gone up one size.

Alexis Bledel In Pamella Roland - 'Remembering Sunday' Premiere

Alexis Bledel attended the premiere of Disney ABC Television and The Hallmark Hall of Fame’s ‘Remembering Sunday’ at the Fox Studio Lot in Century City, California on Wednesday evening.

The actress jumped on the black-and-white summer trend, wearing a Pamella Roland cut-out dress from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection.

Even with the cut-outs, the dress doesn’t appear to be too sexy.

Pedro Garcia’s black patent-leather ‘Rumer’ pumps with a metal heel and a black Swarovski ‘Party Time’ clutch accessorized her look.

For a touch of colour she added a fuchsia-pink lip colour, with wavy tresses completing her look.

While I wasn’t surprised by Miley Cyrus’ look on the red carpet at the ‘VH1 Divas’ 2012 event held at the Shrine Auditorium in California yesterday evening, I was surprised by Ciara.

Giving up her Balmain minis and dramatic Givenchy looks for a more sleek Pamella Roland gown, I have to say this is one of her best looks all year.

While some may say that there is nothing unique or fashion forward about this black sequin v-neck long-sleeve gown with sheer panels, I would say this is the first time she has looked effortless and not so try-hard as it tends to feel when she’s wearing some other brands.

Kohl-rimmed eyes, a nude lip colour, a John Hardy ring and a perfectly styled lob completed her look.

You can buy Ciara’s Pamella Roland gown from Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.

I found myself pleasantly surprised by Christina Aguilera, who took to the red carpet at the 2012 American Music Awards on Sunday evening.

I expected an ill-fitting dress, spandex and a wardrobe malfunction, but she looked amazing wearing a Pamella Roland gown.

Her lavender ombre silk-chiffon halter gown was styled with Jimmy Choo ‘Sugar’ peep-toes, a glitter box clutch which matched her gown, and an armful of diamond-encrusted bracelets.

A sleek bob, smoky eyes and nude glossy lips completed her look.

Sexy without the vulgarity and clown makeup – who knew Christina could pull this off?
