Naomie Harris In Peter Pilotto – Into Film Awards

Naomie Harris In Peter Pilotto - Into Film Awards

Naomie Harris attended the ‘Into Film Awards’ held at The Empire Cinema on Tuesday (March 24) in London, England.

Led by contemporary charm, this Peter Pilotto Pre-Fall 2015 crepe dress with both satin stitch embroidery and metal embellishment is quite a charming game-changer, as we don’t often see the British actress opt for such playful looks.

Styled with Delfina Delettrez jewels, I was perplexed as to why Naomie changed her footwear, going from fab in her silver Louboutins for her arrival, to drab for her red carpet appearance in pointy black pumps.

In fact her arrival look is much preferred overall, with the inclusion of the mint-green Burberry coat and styling of the Burberry Prorsum ‘Bloomsbury’ bag.

January Jones In Preen – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

January Jones In Preen - The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

January Jones made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (March 23) following the New York premiere.

Sticking with the same British label, the ‘Mad Men’ actress wore another Preen by Thornton Bregazzi frock, this time selecting a Spring 2015 LBD, which gets an electric charge thanks to the tribal elements infused via the colourful fringe detailing.

The stand out piece was left to do all the talking, with black sandals and a plump red lip rounding out the look.

This dress could’ve easily gone awry, or looked gimmicky, but I think January pulls off this sporty piece with great aplomb.

Do you agree?

Laura Bailey x L.K. Bennett Capsule Collection

Laura Bailey x LK Bennett Collection

L.K. Bennett hosted a party at their Knightsbridge store in London on Tuesday March (25) to celebrate the L.K.Bennett London by Laura Bailey collection.

The model turned designer Laura Bailey created a capsule of five shoe designs and clutch bags with a retro modern vibe, which pretty much sums up her style.

Laura’s inspiration for this collection includes summers spent travelling to Amalfi. The colour palette is taken directly from the beach, with ocean blue and sandy yellow in bold zig-zags and stripes alongside nautical tones of navy and red, punctuated with linen white.

Laura attended the event last night working a colour block look, which included a Shrimps clutch and her very own Laura Bailey x L.K. Bennett ‘Claudia’ sandals.

It looks like her friend Donna Air had the same idea, as she wore the same heels, matching her look with the Laura Bailey x L.K. Bennett ‘Bella’ clutch.

Freida Pinto In Prabal Gurung – South x Southwest Neiman Marcus Make Some Noise Event

Freida Pinto In Prabal Gurung - South x Southwest Neiman Marcus Make Some Noise Event

Freida Pinto joined Neiman Marcus for their ‘South x Southwest Neiman Marcus Make Some Noise’ event during the 2015 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival on Thursday (March 19) in Austin, Texas.

We don’t get to see the Indian actress on the red carpet much these days, but we can always rely on her to bring plenty of colour and flare to such events.

Case in point, her Prabal Gurung Fall 2015 dress may be simple in design, but this summer-ready piece has maximum visual impact due to the deconstructed fair isle print.

Black pumps would’ve been an easy option, but Freida’s love for colour saw her go down the purple route, selecting a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo patent ‘Susi’ pumps.

Emilia Clarke In Alexander McQueen – ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 Premiere

Emilia Clarke In Alexander McQueen - ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 Premiere

Emilia Clarke attended the HBO ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 premiere at the San Francisco Opera House on Monday (March 23) in San Francisco, California, alongside her castmates Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Nathalie Emmanuel.

While they went right down the youthful, sunny alley, Emilia went left, wearing a dramatic black satin gown from Alexander McQueen.

What sells this look to me is the avant-garde inspired ruffled detail on the sleeves, which elevates the classic silhouette to a contemporary status.

This may not go down so well, as she appeared to be out of tune with her co-stars, but I love that she opted to march to the beat of her own drum, showcasing her own style with clean-cut sophisticated poise.
