2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Show Party

The 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Party took place on Monday (November 20) in Shanghai, China, with a wide ranging mix of styles.

I decided to split them into categories this year staring with: My Favourites.

Cindy Bruna: This Brandon Maxwell Spring 2017 suit originally stormed the runway with a blouse, but Cindy made the look her own by opting to go without.  The excessive boobage might turn off some, but I’m more intrigued by the impeccable tailoring.

Maria Borges: I’m a huge fan of Maria’s style, but I was blown away when she opted to wear this Tiffany Amber gown which proudly showcased her African roots. The dress, the belt and head wrap are gorgeous, but it’s the ‘going against the grain’ statement which I find most endearing.

Jourdana Phillips: You can’t get much chicer than a cream tuxedo dress styled with gold Giuseppe Zanotti rose-gold sandals.

Daisy Ridley In Paco Rabanne – ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Mexico City Premiere

As Daisy Ridley continues down the promo tour for ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi,’ she made a stop in Mexico City for the premiere and fan event on Monday (November 20).

The actress wears both girly femininity as well as sharper takes on modern sultriness in equally strong form.

And, the latter was no better witnessed than here in this Paco Rabanne Spring 2018 ensemble.

The look was striking in its impeccably fitted simplicity, punctuated by the asymmetrical snaps and unexpected dash of paisley.

Tracee Ellis Ross hosts the 2017 AMAs in Stella McCartney, Vintage Halston, Christian Siriano, Ronald van der Kemp Couture, Balmain, Giambattista Valli Couture, Paco Rabanne & Roberto Cavalli

Tracee Ellis Ross hosted the 2017 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 19) in LA, where her mother Diana Ross was honored with a lifetime achievement award, and her brother, Evan Ross with wife Ashlee Simpson Ross were also in attendance.

Starting off with two sparkling looks, Tracee graced the red carpet wearing a Stella McCartney frock. I didn’t quite get her red Tamara Mellon sandals until I realised they pick up the exposed red seams of her dress. Her jewels were courtesy of Irene Neuwirth.

I like how her embellished vintage Halston jumpsuit from Shrimpton Couture was giving off a 60s vibe especially when paired with her fuchsia pink go-go boots.

Paz Vega In Paco Rabanne – Los 40 Music Awards

Paz Vega shimmered at the Los 40 Music Awards on Friday (November 10) in Madrid, Spain.

The actress’s Paco Rabanne Fall 2017 dress had a disco feel thanks to the sparkling silver panel. The high-octane glamour of the front was juxtaposed against the blue-grey side panels. The result was a look that I wanted to see from all angles. It was glamorous, sporty and modern all at once.

Delicate silver sandals enhanced the statuesque beauty of the gown.

Yara Shahidi In Paco Rabanne – The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Generation 2017

Yara Shahidi was at The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Generation 2017 celebration on Wednesday (November 8) in LA.

Gray menswear suiting took on new meaning in her Paco Rabanne Fall 2017 ensemble, with an intriguing mix of feminine and androgynous themes.

Yara seems to have the innate ability to bring vibrancy to any look–even one that’s cast in multiple shades of gray.

I like the modification of the tailored waistband at the natural waist to increase the elegance of the tunic top and parachute pants.

Asymmetrical earrings completed the look with a sparkling, on-trend twist.

Michelle Monaghan In Paco Rabanne – 2017 CMA Awards

Voluminous, richly coloured gowns were a fixture at the 2017 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 8) in Nashville, Tennessee, but Michelle Monaghan brought some sizzling sex appeal in a jumpsuit.

Clad in Paco Rabanne Spring 2018, the actress shimmered on the red carpet thanks to the embellished black piece.

There were details abound in the design as the jumpsuit had an asymmetrical neckline which merged into a sultry side cut-out. Ring on the hip and shoulder added more sexiness and a graphic quality to the look.

Not to be missed were the stirrup pants which I think might break the look for some. I’m not bothered by them as the entire ensemble reads sleek and sexy. Eva Fehren jewels and Stella Luna shoes heightened the effect.

This is one CMA Awards outfit that will definitely stick in my mind.
