Red Carpet Fashion Awards

LFW 1

Here is my red carpet wish list from the Spring 2014 shows presented during London Fashion Week.

Antonio Berardi: Of all the designers, Antonio’s was the hardest to select just one from, as there are so many looks I am dying to see on the red carpet. In the end I selected Look 4 for Rose Byrne. The actress, who loves blush tones, would look remarkable in this look. It’s soft and pretty, with delicate embellishments, yet the mullet hem gives the look an edgier twist than we are used to seeing from the Aussie star.

Barbara Casasola: The Brazilian-born designer has been steadily growing her celebrity fan base with the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Sonam Kapoor as fans, so I hope to see more of her pieces on the red carpet. Marion Cotillard would look amazing wearing this dual-colour black-and-lilac streamline frock. It would be perfect for a New York or London screening.

Malin Akerman In Osman - PaleyFestPreviews Fall TV ABC Event

Malin Akerman arrived at PaleyFestPreviews Fall TV: ABC event featuring ‘Trophy Wife’ And ‘Back In The Game’ held at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday.

The blonde actress is the latest celeb to fall for the designs of the talented Osman Yousefzada, selecting a black sleeveless peplum top with a flash of cobalt-blue embroidery from his Fall 2011 collection.

Going in the opposite direction from the runway look, she opted for narrower pants for a more streamlined look.

A selection of rings and a black Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ clutch completed an edgier look than we’re used to seeing from Malin.

Dianna Agron In Osman - ‘The Family’ World Premiere

Dianna Agron attended ‘The Family’ world premiere held at AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City yesterday evening alongside Michelle Pfeiffer.

The ‘Glee’ actress wore a familiar look from the Osman Fall 2013 collection.

Her crop top – which has been worn a few times, most recently by Zoe Levin last week and Selena Gomez a few months ago – was styled with a black skirt with a single pleat and an asymmetrical hemline.

The monochromatic look was styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Pivichic’ patent pumps, a selection of complementary Fred Leighton jewels and a simple updo.

Third time’s the charm, or are you ready to retire this top already?

Zoe Levin In Osman - 'Beneath The Harvest Sky' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Zoe Levin attended the ‘Beneath The Harvest Sky’ premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada, hosted at Scotiabank on Sunday.

Wearing her second Osman Resort 2014 look at the festival, the young starlet took on the cropped trend in a crisp white top paired with high-waisted black pants. If something about this ensemble seems familiar, it’s because Selena Gomez also wore this structural white shirt earlier this summer.

Black Casadei pumps with gold trim add a bit of subtle shine in lieu of jewels, whilst long, soft waves keep the girl in this more edgy-masculine moment.

We’ve seen a surplus of monochromatic and midriff-revealing looks throughout the season, but Zoe’s effortlessly chic styling keeps me from yawning.

Zoe Levin In Osman - 'Palo Alto' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Zoe Levin joined Gia Coppola at the Toronto International Film Festival for the ‘Palo Alto’ premiere at Scotiabank Theatre on Friday.

The young starlet wore an Osman Resort 2014 sleeveless, square-neck dress in a swirling, navy dragon-print motif.

The feminine silhouette of the frock had a vintage sensibility and differed from the lookbook’s T-shirt variety. But her version was more premiere-appropriate.

Despite the fiercer print, this look was flirty and fun, especially given Zoe’s navy suede Ferragamo ‘Bibi’ clutch and retro-inspired, three-strap shoes—not to mention that top-knot and bright pink lip.
