Osman’s minimalist Fall 2012 collection consisted mostly of a rich floral metallic brocade which was to be found on collars, cuffs, pants, capes and strapless dresses.
I loved how the designer was very playful with the floral brocade by mixing it with other prints, which worked.
On a colour palette of lime green, red and black we saw fur-accented jackets, cigarette pants, full-length coats plus day and evening dresses.
I loved the rise-and-fall cut of the skirts and dresses which the designer lined with a contrasting colour or a more floral brocade.
Models stormed the runway wearing Lemaresca for Osman lace-up boots and mules which also got the brocade treatment.
Who I See Wearing This Collection: Florence Welch, Gemma Arterton, Laura Bailey, Olivia Palermo and Rihanna
