Diane Kruger In Elie Saab & Osman – The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Hollywood Costume Opening Party

Diane Kruger In Elie Saab & Osman - The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Hollywood Costume Opening Party

Diane Kruger attended The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Hollywood costume opening party held at the Wilshire May Company Building on Wednesday (October 1) in Los Angeles, California.

Looking stunning from head to toe, the German actress wore a pretty black lace Elie Saab Spring 2014 dress, dialling down the girliness of the look with a sleek black Osman Fall 2014 blazer.

I love her Sophia Webster black and white strappy sandals, although I wouldn’t be surprised if some find them quite jarring with this look.

Charlotte Olympia’s quirky ‘Take Pandora’ clutch, quite apt for the evening, provided the finishing touch.

Had it not been for the blazer, this look would’ve been too cutesy for Diane. Does this look work for you?

Tina Fey In Osman – ‘This Is Where I Leave You’ LA Premiere

Tina Fey In Osman - 'This Is Where I Leave You' LA Premiere

Tina Fey attended the ‘This Is Where I Leave You’ LA premiere held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday (September 15) in Hollywood, California.

The actress usually conforms to a simple silhouette and muted tones style, so imagine my surprise to see her wearing this Osman Spring 2014 colourful strapless orange and blue bonsai-print tea-length dress with an asymmetrical hemline.

This step outside her comfort zone was a very successful one. The colour is electrifying, the style refreshing and the styling – which included blue Louboutins plus blue and orange stone jewels – complements the look without upstaging or overwhelming.

You may have tagged this dress for Hailee Steinfeld or Shailene Woodley, but I think Tina carries off the look with great aplomb.

Do you agree?

Alexa Chung In Osman – Harper’s Bazaar Celebrates ICONS by Carine Roitfeld Party

Alexa Chung In Osman - Harper's Bazaar Celebrates ICONS by Carine Roitfeld Party

Alexa Chung attended the Harper’s Bazaar Celebrates ICONS by Carine Roitfeld at The Plaza Hotel in New York City on September 5.

For her night on the town, the style icon wore a strapless black circle-print Osman gown with scallop hem- and bust-line detailing from the designer’s Resort 2015 collection.

She paired the dress with a Mark Cross bag and lace-up peep toe pumps.

I think Alexa looks lovely here. I love that she pulled some of her hair back, and a slight cat eye and bright red lip amp up the volume a bit from her typical understated approach to beauty.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Jessica Alba in Houghton & Osman, Chloe Grace Moretz In Simone Rocha, Damon Wayans Jr. In Dolce & Gabbana & Daniel Radcliffe In Raf Simons

BDOTW

Despite Nina Dobrev leading for most of the weekend, Jessica Alba was your eventual winner of best dressed this week for her Houghton & Osman combo styled with a Christian Louboutin bag and lust-worthy Kotur heels.

Although she didn’t rank highly for you, Chloe Grace Moretz in her Simone Rocha look was my favourite. It was nice to see something different from the young actress. The look was edgy without being try hard.

Damon Wayans Jr. won best-dressed male for his super-sleek three-piece Dolce & Gabbana suit. I went with Daniel Radcliffe’s tonal navy Raf Simons look.

Jessica Alba In Houghton, Osman, Alice + Olivia & Max Mara – ‘Sin City: A Dame To Kill For’ New York Promo Tour

Jessica Alba In Houghton, Osman, Alice + Olivia & Max Mara - 'Sin City A Dame To Kill For' New York Promo Tour

Jessica Alba was back on the East Coast, showcasing her effortless style on the streets of Manhattan on Tuesday (August 5) while out promoting her latest movie, ‘Sin City: A Dame To Kill For’.

Look 1: First up, my favourite look: a heady mix of bright colours and prints. She donned a Houghton Fall 2014 black and white striped sleeveless crop top accented with black floral appliqués which complemented her drop-dead-gorgeous Kotur ‘Gilda’ black leaf and snakeskin sandals. But it’s the Osman Resort 2014 tangerine asymmetrical skirt which really steals the show here. The look was completed with a Christian Louboutin ‘Farida’ black and white snakeskin tote.

Look 2: Keeping the same Louboutin tote, Jessica’s second look further displayed her effortless chic style. She wore an Alice + Olivia ‘Richley’ blouse styled with a beautiful pair of Max Mara wide-leg trousers topped off with a lust-worthy Jennifer Fisher cuff. On second thoughts, this might just be my favourite of the two. They are both so top-to-toe perfect it’s hard to decide.

Can you pick a favourite?
