Blake Lively In Brandon Maxwell & Oscar de la Renta – Good Morning America

Looking outside my window, it feels like the end of the world is nigh, such is the threat of heavy rain storms and grey skies, so thank god for Blake Lively who brightened up my day en route to her guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ today (October 16).

Much like Margot Robbie; a bold, arresting hue was used to enlivened the GMA viewers as she wore a canary-yellow Brandon Maxwell Spring 2018 flared outfit which she styled with blue platforms.

I love the retro, carefree spirit of this uber chic look. This is the Blake Lively I know and love. But I can’t help feeling that her faux Lob would’ve looked so cool with this outfit.

Blake’s second look is one we instantly associate with her: glamour. And all before 10am.

The pop-art inspired look is a study in sultry detailing, from the fitted body, cascading drape and sequin embellishments.

As always, I’m hard pressed to select a favourite, as both have outstanding qualities.

Allison Williams In Oscar de la Renta – SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations ‘Get Out’

There’s something intrinsically charming about Allison Williams’ style.

Maybe that’s because she’s not afraid to play to her strengths and go against trends such as sheer dresses.

On Wednesday (October 11), while attending the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations for ‘Get Out’, she was giving us uptown New Yorker in a dainty dress from Oscar de la Renta – champion the fit-and-flare construction.

While a dose of contemporary is achieved through an abstract print, the style is instantly classic, with the styling kept in the same manner thanks to her black Jimmy Choo ‘Lucy’ pumps and Nikos Koulis jewels.

Nicky Hilton In Oscar de la Renta – New York City Ballet’s 2017 Fall Fashion Gala

Nicky Hilton joined Sarah Jessica Parker and Michelle Monaghan for the New York City Ballet’s 2017 Fall Fashion Gala on Thursday (September 28).

The pregnant hotel heiress dressed her burgeoning pump in a crimson red Oscar de la Renta strapless gown.

Nicky has always possessed an elegant red carpet style. I love how this look is both feminine and effortlessly chic.

Styled with black Oscar de la Renta pumps, the look was completed with gold accessories including an Edie Parker ‘Wolf’ clutch and a nail choker.

Fan Bingbing’s Fashion Week: Delpozo, Oscar de la Renta, Zhang Shuai, Chris by Christopher Bu & Louis Vuitton

Paris Fashion Week has just begun after a whirlwind of shows in Milan, London, and New York City.

But, on the other side of the world, Fan Bingbing has been having her own personal fashion week, as she promotes ‘Sky Hunter’ in a full range of typically high-style looks that could have just stepped off the runway.

2017 TV Online Video Ceremony: I love how this Delpozo Resort 2018 navy gown provides a modern, grown-up allure to the princess aesthetic with its wispy balloon sleeves and diaphanous layers, which she wore on Tuesday (September 26) in Shanghai, China. Sparkling De Beers jewels and a power magenta lip completed this cool-girl interpretation of feminine romance.

‘Sky Hunter’ Promotion In Hangzhou: Also on Tuesday, Fan offered up a completely different look in this Oscar de la Renta Resort 2018 ensemble. While they were perhaps rolled up in a pinch to accommodate her frame, I would have preferred to see the wide-leg jeans without the cuffs. But, the vivid orange blazer was a striking counterpoint. Did you miss the lookbook’s belt?

‘Sky Hunter’ Promotion In Hefei: This Zhang Shuai Fall 2017 power suit was pretty in pink, providing a sharp feminine focus on the menswear trend at this promo event on Saturday (September 23). This was such a classic, streamlined look for Fan that likewise continues to see her step outside the princess gown box. You may remember that she has worn this designer before.

Post Emmys Parties

Following the big show, came the Emmy’s after parties hosted by HBO and FOX which saw a few celebrities change into second looks.

Julianne Hough: When it comes to after-parties, the idea is to switch into something more comfortable to get your groove on without the fear of someone stepping on the train you’ve been carrying around during the awards ceremony, but Julianne has different idea. She used the occasion to dress up again, wearing a Monique Lhuillier Spring 2018 gown with a train longer than her Marchesa gown. I love the ethereal nature of the gown, but I really dislike the clutch here and I feel like she’s a tad overdressed for the occasion.

Sarah Hyland: When I look at Sarah in this Vatanika Spring 2018 LBD, I’m like, “yes, she gets it. She came to party”.

Claire Foy In Oscar de la Renta – 2017 Emmy Awards

Anyone getting gown fatigue at the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17) was certainly invigorated by Claire Foy’s appearance.

Donning a custom Oscar de la Renta Resort 2018 jumpsuit, ‘The Crown’ actress eschewed the expected dress for the one-piece ensemble.

The modern silhouette retained an essence of Old Hollywood because of the sweeping sash over one shoulder. The vintage mood was further enhanced by the English actress’s waves, red lipstick and Harry Winston jewels.

I’m sure there will be comparisons to Emma Stone’s trouser look at the 2015 Golden Globes, but Claire’s outfit stands on its own to me.

Christian Louboutin ‘Iriza’ pumps completed his look.
