Aura Garrido in Oscar de la Renta - 'Carmina y Amen' Malaga Film Festival Premiere

Following the opening ceremony, Aura Garrido had a second chance to shine at the ‘Carmina y Amen’ premiere on Day 2 of the 17th Malaga Film Festival held at the Cervantes Theatre on Saturday (March 22) in Malaga, Spain.

The actress’s look was much improved, this time wearing an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2014 strapless indigo-and-white floral fil-coupé silk-gazar bubble-peplum dress that creates beautiful shape and silhouette.

Styled with a gold-trimmed Mascaró clutch, gold sandals and Anton Heunis jewels, with flowing glossy waves and a pink lip, this for me is a BDOTW-worthy look.

What an amazing turnaround from Day 1.

NOT FOR WEBSITE - DO NOT POST - THR Stylist Luncheon

Ashley Greene, Micaela Erlanger and Olivia Munn attended The Hollywood Reporter & Jimmy Choo celebration of the Top 25 Most Powerful Stylists in Hollywood on Wednesday (March 12) in West Hollywood, California.

Ashley Greene: The ‘Twilight’ star opted for a more conservative look, donning a plaid-and-tweed blue-grey-and-black sleeveless Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2014 frock accented with black circular embroidery at the waist. Her ladies-who-lunch look was perfected with a black Jimmy Choo ‘Ciggy’ clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps.

Micaela Erlanger: Lupita Nyong’o's stylist, who was ranked number three in The Hollywood Reporter’s ranking, wore a pretty bi-colour pink Oscar de la Renta Resort 2014 dress with nude Christian Louboutin heels. You may remember that Lea Michele wore this same dress to the 2013 Teen Choice Awards.

Olivia Munn: The actress stood alongside her stylist also wearing an Oscar de la Renta frock. Her pretty white sleeveless dress with floral embroidery was emphasized with green satin accessories including Charlotte Olympia ‘Dolly’ pumps and a clutch featuring a brilliant bejewelled flower bloom, creating an enchanting statement piece. It’s been great to see her style evolve since working with Micaela.

Zooey Deschanel In Oscar de la Renta - Vanity Fair Party 2014

Zoey Deschanel attended the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscars Party on Sunday (March 2).

Super cute as usual, the ‘New Girl’ actress wore an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2014 strapless gown in a playful flower, polka dot print.

While I think this dress would be more appropriate for a fancy picnic, I commend Deschanel for always sticking to her unique sense of style. Adding to the playfulness she picked a red and pink clutch plus a Mikimoto ‘Akoya’ pearl bracelet and ring.

I wish she’d gone for a simple sleek updo instead of adding to the busyness of the look with her relaxed curls.

All in all, I would say there’s a bit much going on, no?

Jennifer Garner sparkled on Sunday (March 2) at the 2014 Oscars, hosted at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.

With a big nomination for Best Picture for ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ Jennifer wore a gown designed by Oscar de la Renta.

Joining the metallic, beaded, 1920’s-inspired trend, the silver tiered gown was very flattering on the star. Jennifer is one of my favourite red carpet beauties, always making the right sartorial choices in my eyes, but I was underwhelmed by this beaded number–it felt too simple and not glamorous enough for the actress.

Jennifer accessorized her red carpet style with Brian Atwood shoes and Oscar de la Renta’s ‘Goa’ clutch. I did love Jennifer’s side-swept bangs and loosely wavy ‘do and neutral makeup.

What’s your take on Jennifer’s gown?

Taylor Swift In Oscar de la Renta - The Weinstein Company's Academy Award Party

Taylor Swift attended The Weinstein Company’s Academy Award party held at Montage Beverly Hills on Saturday (March 1) in Beverly Hills, California.

Opting for a fresh take on modern femininity, the singer wore a sparkle-free Oscar de la Renta white lace, long-sleeved, full-skirted pretty dress. I guess she’s saving the embellished dress for later today.

Both elegant and contemporary, she styled the look with Jimmy Choo ‘Kendo’ shoes and a Christian Louboutin satin clutch in a nude tones, with a selection of Lorraine Schwartz jewels including stunning emerald earrings.

Signature red lips that matched her nails and a chic Karlie Kloss-esqe do roundied out her look.

Natalia de Molina In Oscar de la Renta - Fotogramas Magazine Awards

Natalia de Molina joined Dafne Fernandez and several others for the ‘Fotogramas Magazine Awards’ held at Teatro Joy Eslava on Monday (February 24) in Madrid, Spain.

Having dropped jaws on the red carpet following her Best New Actress Award win at the 2014 Goya Awards, the actress stuns again wearing a beautiful pearly-champagne-pink Oscar de la Renta dress embellished with sequins.

Dazzling from head to toe, the actress styled her look with Magerit jewels, Bgo & Me satin pumps with a jewel accent and a gold Jimmy Choo clutch.

Although her Andrew Gn gown was my favourite look from her this awards season, this pretty party frock comes a very close second.
