Emily Mortimer In Oscar de la Renta – 2013 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner

Emily Mortimer joined a host of stars including fellow British actress Michelle Dockery at the Washington Hilton, where the 2013 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner was held in Washington, DC. on Saturday evening.

She stunned wearing a bright-red Oscar de la Renta silk-chiffon gown.

Her romantic pleated frock was accented with a tonal satin waistband to nip in her tiny waist, with sparkling gold accessories including a Judith Leiber clutch, Kwiat jewels and Christian Louboutin heels.

Aside from Hayden Panettiere this was a very well dressed event.

Anna Wintour In Oscar de la Renta – Chanel Shopping In New York City

Anna Wintour was spotted out in New York City on Wednesday after a spot of shopping at a Chanel boutique uptown.

While it appears her time out from the office was aimed at taking in some shopping and spring sunshine, the editor-in-chief of American Vogue selected a Fall 2013 look by Oscar de la Renta.

The chic ruby-and-anthracite plaid tweed skirt suit featuring a frayed-edged jacket was styled with a white top, a beaded necklace and her signature shades.

Spring is here so don’t be surprised to see Anna back to wearing her favourite nude Manolo Blahnik kitten heels – she must have over 10 pairs.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Nicole Kidma In Oscar de la Renta, Diane Kruger In Preen and Ryan Gosling In Gucci

I am not surprised that you picked Nicole Kidman in Oscar de la Renta for your best dressed this week. This was the first time in a long while that she oozed glamour from head to toe. This signalled that the Nicole we all love was finally back on form.

Picking a best dressed was really difficult for me this week.

Nicole was a given, so I opted to select my second best, but there were so many options.

Karolina Kurkova stunned in all her looks, and Victoria Justice also deserved a shout out, but in the end I had to pick Diane Kruger in Preen. From the break from black, to her gorgeous printed Preen dress and complementary styling I was in total lust.

When it came to menswear there was a clear winner: Ryan Gosling in Gucci.

The man knows how to wear a suit. Stepping out of the narrow menswear box, he opted for both colour and texture, giving us a swoon-worthy red carpet moment.

I would love to see a BDOTW with both Ryan and Eddie.

Nicole Kidman attended the Omega Gala ‘La Nuit Enchantee’ at Gartenpalais Liechtenstein in Vienna, Austria on Saturday evening.

I’m truly in awe of how breathtaking Nicole looks in this Oscar de la Renta Fall 2013 black beaded gown.

She’s rediscovered her fashion mojo: she’s oozing glamour, looks very confident and comfortable – which is often half the battle – plus she’s glowing.

Nicole styled her BDOTW-worthy look with a black Roger Vivier clutch and an Omega watch.

Many of you have commented on your dislike for Nicole’s hairstyles in the past; however, you can tell she made a huge effort to glamorize her tresses, teasing her strawberry-blonde locks into a chic curly ‘do.

Red lips and rosy cheeks completed her breathtaking look.

Selena Gomez In Oscar de la Renta – 2013 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

Doing her best to signal that spring has officially sprung, Selena Gomez wore an easy breezy look to the 2013 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday afternoon, held at the USC’s Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a heavenly Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 ensemble which consisted of a turquoise silk gazar peplum top with white linen cotton shorts.

I’m totally mesmerized by this look and enamoured by Selena’s ever evolving style. She certainly knows how to keep things interesting of late. I think I’m developing a bit of a girl crush.

Gucci ‘Ursula’ python-print ankle-cuff sandals, a blush Diane von Furstenberg ‘Lytton’ quilted clutch and jewels by Dana Rebecca Designs and Melinda Maria completed her look.

Beauty-wise, I love the single braided wavy half-up, half-down hairstyle, and her flawless makeup which consisted of kohl-rimmed eyes and a glossy pout.

Who Wore Oscar de la Renta Better…Allison Williams or Pace Wu?

When Allison Williams was still considered a relative new-kid-on-the-block, she attended the 2012 Emmy Awards wearing a gorgeous green Oscar de la Renta Resort 2013 gown.

Her strapless gown with an architectural neckline and peplum detail was styled with Fred Leighton jewels.

Everyone’s favourite FROWer, Pace Wu, wore the same gown a few months later to the Johnnie Walker House event in Beijing, China.

She also only added statement earrings to enhance the look.

Both look gorgeous, but that extra air of confidence which is oozing from Pace Wu secures the win for me.
