Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Pre Wedding 1

A host of royals attended the dinner to celebrate the nuptials of Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill, hosted by Madeleine’s parents King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia which was held at The Grand Hotel in Stockholm, Sweden yesterday evening.

Princess Charlene of Monaco: The princess turned to one of her favourite designers, Akris, who created this shimmering gold mermaid gown with a matching vest.

Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece: The beautiful princess wore an embellished Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 strapless gown with a rise-and-fall hemline.

Pre Wedding 2

Queen Silvia of Sweden: The mother of the bride was the epitome of elegance in a floor-sweeping red gown that showed off her slim physique to perfection.

Princess Stephanie of Luxembourg: Having worn Elie Saab to her own wedding last year and to Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands’ Abdication State Dinner last month, the Princess selected the designer yet again for this royal occasion. She wore a sequin-free green asymmetrical gown styled with an embellished clutch.

Emmy Rossum In Oscar de la Renta - Showtime's 'Shameless' Screening and Panel Discussion

Emmy Rossum brought springtime to the red carpet of Showtime’s ‘Shameless’ Screening and Panel Discussion yesterday in Hollywood.

The star wore a green and purple flower-print Oscar de la Renta dress from the Resort 2013 collection.

Emmy always makes great choices on the red carpet, and this was no different. I love seeing her gorgeous tresses down in a perfect blowout, and the lovely baby pink lips are a lip choice she’s wow’d us with before.

Green Bionda Castana ankle-strap heels, chunky silver earrings and a cocktail ring complete her breezy look.

Models @ 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards

Some of our favourite cat-walkers were among the mix of style royalty at the 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City. The models definitely had their moment last night, strutting out a slew of bold-name designers and even bolder looks to match.

Adriana Lima: Donning a leggy and luxe Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy Fall 2013 confection, this Brazilian beauty did justice to the edgy designer—who was the CFDA International Award Winner—even with black bloomers peeking through the gown. A center-parted ‘do and glowing makeup finished the look. Fellow model Joan Smalls rocked a similar Givenchy sheer design at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala. Who do you think wore it best?

Miranda Kerr: This model mom made waves with a retro-modern frock by Proenza Schouler. The square neckline and fit-and-flare shape were nothing if not fun and provided the perfect palette for the trippy, painterly cerulean and verdigris hues. More sophistication came with a classic pair of black, triple ankle-wrap Stuart Weitzman heels, Jennifer Meyer jewels and a silver Stuart Weitzman clutch, along with a fuchsia lippie and low bun.

Joan Smalls: The lovely Latina wore a breezy white, strapless Givenchy gown. The matte white panel on the bottom created a sort of casual, sundress feel. But upon closer inspection, it was anything but beach-y with a corseted bodice and sheer lace-embellished skirt. The glittering choker-necklace added a daring, darker note.

Jessica Stam In Oscar de la Renta - Social Innovation Summit May 2013

Jessica Stam attended the Social Innovation Summit May 2013 in New York City on Thursday.

At 27-years-old she maybe old in model years, however, I feel this Oscar de la Renta Resort 2014 dress is way too mature for her.

I can picture this Bordeaux bowtie tweed and ivory cotton guipure dress on Anna Wintour or Princess Charlene of Monaco, which isn’t such a bad thing as both ladies are stylish, however, they are considerably older than Jessica.

The length is not helping.

Isla Fisher In Oscar de la Renta - ‘The Great Gatsby’ Premiere & Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Isla Fisher took her spot on a rain soaked red carpet this evening as one of the stars of ‘The Great Gatsby’ which opened Cannes Film Festival.

The Australian actress stood out wearing an Oscar de la Renta strapless red/gold dress with multiple choppy layers.

On this occasion, I tend to favour a bare neck with a strapless gown, but her multi-coloured Bulgari Heritage statement necklace enhances her look and prevents it from feeling too one-dimensional, as does her serpent watch from the same collection

Red lips would’ve been too obvious, so she selected a copper colour which closely matches her hair colour.

Wavy tresses provided the finishing touches.
