Jessica Chastain In Michael Kors & Oscar de la Renta – 2014 San Sebastian Film Festival

Jessica Chastain In Michael Kors & Oscar de la Renta - 2014 San Sebastian Film Festival

Moving on from London, Jessica Chastain graced the 62nd San Sebastian Film Festival with her beauty on Monday (September 22) in San Sebastian, Spain with two great looks.

Arrival: Jessica arrived looking fresh and beautiful wearing a Michael Kors Resort 2015 sleeveless printed dress tailored in a flattering, elegant silhouette. Effortless styling with nude accessories, including Michael Kors ‘Doris’ sandals, topped off this ultra-feminine offering.

‘The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby’ Premiere: For the premiere held at the Victoria Eugenia Theater, Jessica kept the style short while dialling up the glamour, wearing an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2015 black silk faille cocktail dress with bold white taffeta embroidered blooms and a voluminous invert-pleated skirt to create a standout feminine silhouette. It’s really the hair and makeup which inject the glamour, from those glossy screen-siren waves to that glossy red lip.

I think she nailed both looks, even though I would’ve loved a gown for the premiere.

Elle Fanning In Oscar de la Renta – ‘The Boxtrolls’ LA Premiere

Elle Fanning In Oscar de la Renta - 'The Boxtrolls' LA Premiere

Elle Fanning attended the premiere for ‘The Boxtrolls’ held at Universal CityWalk on Sunday (September 21) in Universal City, California.

The actress gave us new hair and a new look, sporting a darker brunette hue in place of her golden blonde and a more tailored look from Oscar de la Renta in place of her favoured princess dresses.

For me this is a case of too much change. While I love the new hair colour, which made me not even recognise the actress at first, I’m less enthused with the outfit.

I am not a fan of the style, the trousers are too long plus all round its feels too sombre for an animated feature.

Love the new direction, or are you nitpicking the look like I am?

Best Dressed Of The Week – Emmy Rossum In Oscar de la Renta, Abigail Spencer In Paule Ka & David Gandy In Marks & Spencer

Best Dressed Of The Week - Emmy Rossum In Oscar de la Renta, Abigail Spencer In Paule Ka & David Gandy In Marks & Spencer

Emmy Rossum was your best dressed this week wearing a gorgeous strapless tiered Oscar de la Renta gown to the LA Opera.

My vote went to Abigail Spencer in her black and white Paule Ka gown worn to the ‘This Is Where I Leave You’ LA premiere; as I said at the time, I don’t think she’s ever looked better – she totally blew me away.

Even with very stiff competition from Ryan Reynolds and Dan Stevens, Dandy Gandy, not surprisingly, was the runaway winner. Some may think he only gets votes because he is so damn good looking, but look again – the man knows how to wear a suit. On this occasion his Marks & Spencer suit was tailored and styled to perfection.

Emmy Rossum In Oscar de le Renta – Craig’s Restaurant / LA Opera Opening Night

Emmy Rossum In Oscar de le Renta - Craig's Restaurant

Celebrating her 28th birthday, Emmy Rossum dined out at Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood, California with her boyfriend on Saturday (September 13) before headed to the LA Opera opening night.

Looking nothing short of spectacular on her special day, the ‘Shameless’ actress wore an Oscar de la Renta Fall 2014 black and white polka-dot strapless gown with a frothy tiered layered skirt.

This is both classic Emmy and classic Oscar de la Renta: elegant and sophisticated with a ladylike quality which easily charms.

Opting for neutral makeup, she added a pop of colour via her fuchsia-pink clutch.

Jessica Chastain In Oscar de la Renta – Deauville American Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Jessica Chastain In Oscar de la Renta - Deauville American Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Jessica Chastain looked ravishing on the red carpet of the opening ceremony of the 40th Annual Deauville American Film Festival in Deauville, France yesterday (September 5).

The star wore a striking fuchsia gown with intricate floral embroidery from the Oscar de la Renta Resort 2015 collection.

With the gown, she wore gold spiked Christian Louboutin heels.

A metallic gold smoldering eye, bright lips and a soft bun completed the look.

I honestly cannot say enough about how divine this look is from head-to-toe. The dress is a work of art and looks amazing against Jessica’s fair skin, and the shoes are enough to rock anyone’s world.

The hair and makeup are also completely stunning and on-point, and I’m willing to bet that people will be remembering this look of Jessica’s for a long time.
