Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh Exclusive to NET-A-PORTER

Virgil Abloh first made his mark as Creative Director for Yeezy before starting his streetwear line Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh back in 2013.  His mission was to make streetwear clothing high fashion.

Cut to 2017, and not only has he accomplished his mission, but he’s seen the likes of Yara Shahidi, Janelle Monae, Ciara, Camila Cabello, Solange Knowles,  Nicole Kidman and many more take to the red carpet wearing his pieces, plus his hot-pink date for the CFDA Fashion Awards was Bella Hadid who’s been spotted out several times wearing Off-White streetwear along with BFF Hailey Baldwin and Rita Ora.

Having gained a cult-like status for his laid-back aesthetic, his trademark diagonal stripe design, and embroidered hoodies that continue to inspire youth culture, are now available to purchase exclusively on NET-A-PORTER.

Rita Ora In Off-White for FWRD & Fleur Du Mal – Catch LA

Bringing her pyjama party to Catch, Rita Ora was seen at the LA hotspot on Thursday (July 13).

Forget cocktail-chic, Rita was sleepwear-chic in her Off-White for FWRD pajama set.

To go with the slinky, boudoir-ready separates, she wore a Fleur Du Mal tank top and piles of necklaces that did help to diffuse the nightwear influence just a bit—although her furry heels were bedroom slippers in stiletto form.

This is not the first time we’ve seen a PJs-inspired look—and it surely won’t be the last. And why would it when ultimate comfort can co-exist with a devil-may-care, detachedly cool attitude.

Nicole Kidman In Off-White – 2017 CMT Music Awards

Nicole Kidman played peekaboo at the 2017 CMT Music Awards in Nashville on Wednesday (June 7)

The ‘Big Little Lies’ actress perfectly encapsulated gothic romance in this Off-White Fall 2017 dress.

I’m not keen on the random cut-outs but I do love the exposed bra and sheer lace, which bring some allure to this look.

I do wish that Nicole’s hair could have been swept up, or at least behind her shoulders, to emphasise the neckline of this dress better.

This is falling just the right side of witchy for me.

Models @ The 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

It was all cheekbones and centre-partings as models descended on the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 5) in New York City.

Bella Hadid: The model is a fan of flashing flesh but kept it sophisticated in this blazer-style dress from Off-White Fall 2017. Top marks for the flared sleeves and retro full fringe. We’ll ignore the pale pink lunch bag style clutch.

Maye Musk: I do love the humour and personality in this Rosie Assoulin Spring 2017 dress. It’s unashamedly extroverted and doesn’t apologise for its bling accessories courtesy of Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry.

Karen Elson: Ah, red and green a hallowed combination that almost never goes wrong. Unfortunately, the tried and tested combo falls short here. The Anna Sui Fall 2017 dress is a confusing array of frills, draping, and puff sleeves. Combined with heavy shoes, this look is overwhelmingly bad.

2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Many more starlets took to the red carpet at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday (May 7) in LA.

Millie Bobby Brown: Cowgirl-glam never looked better than with this Calvin Klein By Appointment sequin dress paired with Calvin Klein white western boots and Jennifer Meyer jewels.

Gal Gadot: Tuxedo-style dressing was upgraded with a hem of tasseled fringe and lace in this sexy little Cinq à Sept LBD number.

Alexandra Daddario: Evocatively feminine, this Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini Fall 2016 lace gown made flashing your panty-line look rather pretty. Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals completed the look.

Issa Rae In Off-White – 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards

Issa Rae attended the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards, hosted on Sunday (May 7) in LA.

The ‘Insecure’ actress showed off a navy Off-White leather dress styled with a Kate Spade New York ‘Everdene Lane Zurie’ clutch and Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals.

I wanted to love the dress more than I actually did. But, if I could pinpoint what put me off the look, it’s largely owed to the overly girly ruffle additions at the bodice—not to mention a slightly ill-fitted look through the skirt.

She topped off the look with some sparkle via a John Hardy ring, Le Vian earrings, and a Narcisa Pheres canary diamond bracelet.
