Alexa Chung In Nina Ricci - 2014 Met Gala

Alexa Chung attended the ‘Charles James: Beyond Fashion’ Costume Institute Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

Surprisingly, she didn’t wear her go-to designers Christopher Kane or Erdem, selecting a Nina Ricci piece instead.

I was also surprised to see her wearing a gown because, as you know, she loves to keep it short and sweet.

The blue-grey silk-radzimir strapless gown accented with bow detailing down the front was also a rare homerun for Alexa.

While the silver embellished clutch was the perfect accessory, I can’t get on board with the black pumps with gold-studded toecaps.

I’m picturing silver sandals with this gorgeous look in my mind’s eye.

Kate Bosworth In Nina Ricci - Out In New York City

Kate Bosworth was spotted leaving a hotel in New York City on Thursday (May 1).

The actress, who I guess is in town for Monday’s Met Gala, wore a lady-like Nina Ricci Fall 2014 look.

Her burgundy and black croc-patterned turtleneck and pencil skirt was styled with Kurt Geiger ‘Brent’ pumps, and a silver clutch.

Earlier this week we saw Emma Stone give us a parade of coats while in Manhattan. So if temperatures are still mild in the city, Kate’s look chic alternative to layering up in a heavy coat.

Kiernan Shipka In Nina Ricci - ‘Mad Men’ Season 7 LA Premiere

Kiernan Shipka attended the Season 7 premiere of ‘Mad Men’ held at the ArcLight Cinemas on Wednesday (April 2) in Hollywood, California alongside co-stars January Jones and Christina Hendricks.

The young actress wore a Nina Ricci Fall 2014 long-sleeved floral jacquard dress in moody fall-like hues featuring tonal piping at the bateau neck, corset-inspired seams at the front waist, a V-neck back and a front-pleated full mini skirt.

With a sheen enhancing her shine, she kept the look simple, adding blue Stuart Weitzman’s popular ‘Nudist’ sandals and a hint of pink lip colour, rounding out the look with a simple ponytail.

Imogen Poots In Nina Ricci - 'Need For Speed' LA Premiere

Imogen Poots looked heavenly gracing the red carpet for the LA premiere of ‘Need For Speed’ held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday (March 6) in Hollywood, California.

I love how she was totally swept up in the femininity of her light-blue Nina Ricci Spring 2014 chiffon-and-lace gown with a rise-and-fall hemline.

Emphasized with the plunging v-neckline and a sheer lace criss-cross overlay at the bodice, the overall mood is sensual and ethereal.

Keeping her look modern, she styled her gorgeous gown with white Givenchy platform sandals, a dark manicure, kohl-rimmed eyes and a braided updo.

A BDOTW-worthy look if ever I saw one. Do you agree?

J’adore.

Aura Garrido In Nina Ricci - Feroz Awards 2014

Aura Garrido joined Natalia de Molina and Blanca Suarez on the red carpet for the ‘Feroz Awards 2014′ held at Callao Cinema on Monday (January 27) in Madrid, Spain.

Nominated in the Best Actress category for ‘Stockholm’, she stood out by a long way wearing a canary-yellow Nina Ricci Resort 2014 halter gown decorated with 3D floral mesh appliqués.

This has been on my red carpet wish list for a very long while, so I am ecstatic to finally see it worn on the red carpet and styled so well.

A Jimmy Choo clutch and Carrera y Carrera jewels accessorized the look, along with simple hair and makeup which was key to making this look work with such a detailed neckline and bodice.

She was my favourite at this event.

Jessica Chastain In Nina Ricci - 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Jessica Chastain enjoyed another night out on the red carpet at the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 16) in Santa Monica.

The actress looked divine wearing a romantic Nina Ricci Pre-Fall 2014 cypress green silk crepe gown with a lace yoke back which featured light ruffles.

Balancing feminine fancy with grown-up gumption, she completed the look with a part-braided do and orange lip shade.

Red heads and green gowns are always a winning combination for me. Does it work for you on this occasion?
