Issa Rae In Nina Ricci & Brandon Maxwell – Conde Nast NextGen & HFPA and Instyle Celebration of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards

If Issa Rae’s woke up on Wednesday (November 15) with a quest for wearing gorgeous colours, she succeeded.

Conde Nast NextGen: I was totally charmed by her Nina Ricci Spring 2018 chic panelled design dress crafted from lace and leather. The colour is so complementary to her skin tone and the style is so uniquely flawless. Leather can often feel heavy and labored but this look appears lighter-than-air with some twirl appeal.

Gigi Hadid In Nina Ricci – The Today Show

On Monday (November 13), Gigi Hadid stopped by ‘The Today Show’ in New York City, where she talked about being honoured at the 2017 Glamour Women of the Year Awards.

Taking pretty in pink in a new direction, she donned an allover lace Nina Ricci Fall 2017 pink bodysuit with a flowing, lavender sequin skirt

Sequins and lace may seem a bit much for morning TV, but I liked the nod to girly chicness with a certain sultry undertone.

While playfully directional, the Prada retro-forward pumps probably wouldn’t have been my first pick. But, it didn’t surprise me to see Gigi bring this quirky addition to the look, as a simple tonal sandal would have been far too expected.

Messika earrings rounded out her pre-Glamour Awards look.

WSJ Magazine 2017 Innovator Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The WSJ Magazine 2017 Innovator Awards on Wednesday (November 1) in New York City were an elegant affair with many stylish attendees opting for an inky colour palette.

Naomi Campbell: Despite the asymmetrical proportions of her Jean Paul Gaultier Couture outfit, methinks many will be focused on the chain facial jewellery. She went for a show-stopping look, but I wish there were a few less accessories so we could better appreciate the way the dress merges into trousers.

Gwyneth Paltrow:
Donning Michael Kors Collection Spring 2018, the actress tempered a sleek white and black dress with an oversized black blazer. I’m sure many will describe this as shapeless, but I found the proportions refreshing. What’s more, I appreciate the way she carried it off with a relaxed elegance.

Maddie Ziegler:
The dancer struck a pose in a slinky Tommy Hilfiger slip dress which was enlivened by gold zigzags and inky sequined diamonds on the hem. The gold lace-up shoes tied in the frock’s detail while adding a fun element that was appropriate for her 15 years.

Rihanna is Instaglam in Nina Ricci

Recently, Rihanna hasn’t met a voluminous silhouette that she doesn’t like. She has been wearing dramatic proportions on the red carpet, off-duty and in her Instaglam moments.

For her most recent social media photo-op, she struck a pose in a Nina Ricci Spring 2018 ensemble. The layered look might not have been as full as some of the singer’s previous ones, but what it lacked in volume, it made up for in fabulous details.

The girly lilac and soft pink colour palette took the exaggerated pointed shoulders of the jacket in a less severe direction. Had it been black, I don’t think it would have made quite the impact. Combined with the sheer dress and belt, the outfit mixed hard and soft elements so it didn’t become too precious.

The accessories were equally exciting with her wearing an Anabela Chan diamond flower ring and fuzzy pink heels.

Gigi Hadid In Brandon Maxwell & Nina Ricci – Messika Cocktail Party & PFW Sighting

Like her sister Bella, Gigi Hadid has also been out and about in Paris, attending the Messika Cocktail Party on Wednesday (September 27) before later showing off her street style.

Messika Cocktail Party: She used this striking white Brandon Maxwell Spring 2018 plunge gown as the blank canvas for those stunning Messika jewels. This look presented so sleekly, with its minimal glam appeal, even if that centre slit seemed to cut a bit high.

Paris Fashion Week Sighting:
From all white to all black, she flipped the script in this Nina Ricci Fall 2017 maxi dress. The casual, flowing design, with the added peek-a-boo sultriness of the lace bra, was no doubt a comfortable way to walk the city—with those lug-sole boots echoing that sentiment while imbuing a tougher edge to the look. The dress was previously worn by Rihanna in New York City.

Chopard Space Party

Galactic with a touch of diamonds was said to be the dress code of the Chopard SPACE Party, co-hosted by Rihanna, during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 19), and the stars in attendance indeed delivered a constellation of looks appropriately dusted with Chopard jewels.

Bella Hadid: Lest you think Bella had turned a corner with a newly modest style after the ‘Okja’ premiere, her Roberto Cavalli Couture slit-to-thigh gown promptly signaled her return to the leg jut. But, it was necessary to show off her custom-made Rene Caovilla gladiator sandals. I always find satin a challenging fabric, and that was evidenced here. Futuristically winged eyeliner finished the look.

Adriana Lima: Looking impossibly regal, Adriana struck a divine note in this Reem Acra Spring 2018 Bridal gown that would never be confused for a wedding dress. I was in awe of the glamour that exuded form the embellished top and dramatic, caped split sleeve.

Kendall Jenner: I love the sculptural mood of this shimmering Ralph & Russo Spring 2017 Couture design that could certainly pass for space-age sophistication.
