Carey Mulligan In Nina Ricci – ‘The Great Gatsby’ Sydney Premiere

Following a short trip to promote her new movie ‘The Great Gatsby’ in Cannes last week, Carey Mulligan took to the red carpet at Moore Park in Australia for the Sydney premiere.

Despite the wet conditions, Carey opted for an arm-baring look from the Nina Ricci Fall 2013 collection.

Having stuck to a black-and-white colour palette during Cannes, this look featured a Chantilly lace blush-coloured bustier paired with black cropped pants, rather than the skirt this look was presented with on the runway.

Many of you will be delighted to discover that Carey’s makeup artist travelled with her on this leg of her promo tour. Just that pink lip colour alone brightens up her face, preventing her from looking so washed out and tired.

Giving her Brian Atwood ‘Aida’ peep-toes a break, the British actress wore Saint Laurent t-bar sandals on this occasion, with Tiffany jewels and wavy tresses completing her look.

Olga Kurylenko In Nina Ricci – ‘Oblivion’ World Premiere

Olga Kurylenko joined Andrea Riseborough and Tom Cruise on the carpet yesterday evening for the world premiere of ‘Oblivion’, held at the Village Recoleta Cinema in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Ukrainian beauty wore a Nina Ricci Pre-Fall 2013 gown for the occasion.

It may not have been a big puffy ballgown like Andrea’s, but she looked just as beautiful in her plissé pleated black dress with lace panels in the bodice and a gathered detail on the hip.

The effortless look was further punctuated with barely-there makeup and a side-swept braid.

Opting for just studded earrings, the actress completed her look with a further touch of bling via her gold clutch.

Nicole Kidman In Nina Ricci – Omega Press Junket

Nicole Kidman was in Vienna, Austria on Sunday afternoon to fulfill her duties for an Omega Press Junket at BAWAG PSK Zentrale.

The Australian beauty wore a very chic Nina Ricci Pre-Fall 2013 look which features an ivory wool jacket with gold buttons and frayed details around the shoulders, which she wore with a simpler pencil skirt.

Keeping her look modern, she added a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood elaphe, metallic and patent leather sandals we recently saw on Solange Knowles.

Her other accessory was of course her Omega watch and gold earrings.

Nicole opted to keep her strawberry blonde tresses sleek straight with a pink lip colour completing her look.

2013 Goya Awards Red Carpet Round Up

There were many more gorgeous gals who took to the red carpet at the Centro de Congresos Principe Felipe in Madrid, Spain on Sunday evening for the 2013 Goya Awards.

Paula Echevarria: The actress took my breath away, wearing a shimmering Dolores Promesas gown. Her long-sleeved emerald-green creation with a plunging neckline and long train was styled with ruby Tous jewels and a gold seashell-shaped clutch. One of the top ten of the night.

Dafne Fernández: Here we have another stunning look from the beautiful Dafne. The actress wore a gold Stella McCartney long-sleeved gown with an open back and side slit. You may remember that Gwyneth Paltrow wore a similar gown to the 2011 Met Gala. Ombre waves, flawless makeup and subtle gold jewels completed her look.

Irene Escolar: With so many opting for Fall-like hues, Irene selected a pretty coral Blumarine gown with delicate orange embroidered details for one of the more stand-out looks on the red carpet, which was again perfected with simple styling.

Anne Hathaway In Nina Ricci – 49th Annual Cinema Audio Society Awards

Anne Hathaway attended the 49th Annual Cinema Audio Society Awards held at the Biltmore Hotel in LA on Saturday.

The ‘Les Miserables’ actress wore a shimmering Nina Ricci Pre-Fall 2013 black strapless sequinned cocktail dress.

Black strappy Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and thin bangles gave this party frock a young and chic look. For her makeup, Anne went with a pretty and minimal approach, which kept the vibe fresh and young.

While it’s refreshing to see celebrities sporting shorter ‘dos and edgier styles, I for one think Anne should grow an angled razor-sharp bob, which will give her style a more modern upgrade.

Amanda Seyfried In Nina Ricci – ‘Les Miserables’ Berlin Film Festival Premiere

Amanda Seyfried’s second look of the weekend came during the 2013 Berlinale Film Festival premiere for ‘Les Miserables’.

Going from red to all black, Amanda wore a Nina Ricci Spring 2013 halter dress with a ruffled collar which she styled with Rupert Sanderson ‘Harting’ heels.

Even with the embellishments and that hot red lip, I still find myself more wanting more. Maybe that’s because Anne Hathaway stole the spotlight at this event.
