Hilary Swank In Nicholas Oakwell Couture – 2014 Hollywood Film Awards

Hilary Swank In Nicholas Oakwell Couture - 2014 Hollywood Film Awards

Hilary Swank attended the 18th Annual Hollywood Film Awards held at The Palladium on Friday (November 14) in Hollywood, California.

After failing to be excited with her last two looks, this Nicholas Oakwell Couture frock is much more like it.

Figure-sculpting to create a striking silhouette, I just love the colourful pops of fuchsia and green within the floral appliqués which she considered when selecting her fuchsia pink Judith Leiber Couture clutch.

Her other accessories included Graziela Gems and white Christian Louboutin ‘Iriza’ d’Orsay pumps with a sassy barbarella hairstyle rounding out her look.

Natalie Dormer In Nicholas Oakwell Couture – ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ London Premiere

Natalie Dormer In Nicholas Oakwell Couture - ‘The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1′ London Premiere

Natalie Dormer attended ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ premiere held at the Odeon Leicester Square this evening (November 10).

The British actress, who joins the cast for the first time, wore a Nicholas Oakwell Couture gown.

While I’m intrigued by the mysterious dark hues, I am not a fan of the actual gown.

The shape isn’t particularly agreeable – just look at the hip area – and I don’t know what part I want to remove more: the sheer yoke and sleeves or the blue underlay.

Really disappointed.

Hilary Swank In Nicholas Oakwell Couture – ‘You’re Not You’ LA Premiere

Hilary Swank In Nicholas Oakwell Couture - 'You're Not You' LA Premiere

Hilary Swank attended the premiere of ‘You’re Not You’ held at the Vanguard Theatre on Wednesday (October 8) in Los Angeles, California following the Hollywood Costume luncheon.

Going from one extreme to another, this time she served up a look which I can only term classic Hilary.

Oozing with class and feminine sophistication, I love the floral appliqués adorning her strapless white Nicholas Oakwell Spring 2014 Couture dress, which is tailored precisely to nip her in at the waist.

Both the silver-metallic Gianvito Rossi ‘Ellipsis’ pumps and a matching clutch help fend off the hear-comes-the-bride vibe about this look, with tumbling waves rounding out her inch-perfect look.

Rita Ora In Nicholas Oakwell Couture – GQ Men Of The Year After-Party

Rita Ora In Nicholas Oakwell Couture - GQ Men Of The Year After-Party

Rita Ora swapped the Zuhair Murad Couture gown she wore on the red carpet for the GQ Men Of The Year Awards on Monday (September 2) in London, England for something just as sparkly for the after-party.

Opting for a Nicholas Oakwell Couture plunging jumpsuit with shimmering fringed detailing all over, this look spells party piece.

In an attempt to distract you from said plunge, Rita added a silver pendant necklace to the look, with further styling coming from her metallic-silver pumps and selection of rings.

While I believe many will see this as a huge step down from her gown, I love three things about this look: the retro vibe, sultry appeal and lack of red lip colour.

Paloma Faith In Nicholas Oakwell Couture – Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Paloma Faith In Nicholas Oakwell Couture - Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Paloma Faith attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England, where she picked up the UK Solo Artist award.

As you know, I have a huge soft spot for all things Paloma Faith.

Never one to fail to bring drama to the red carpet, I was delighted to see her glide down the carpet on this occasion working this Nicholas Oakwell Couture black sheer gown with floral appliqués from the Fall 2013 collection.

It’s a Paloma gown through and through. Opting not to wear a trademark fascinator, she styled her strawberry-blonde locks into a chic updo, just adding touches of red via her lip and nails.

Some might be put off by the sheerness, but considering Rihanna’s sheer look from the CFDA Fashion Awards, this is tame.

You may remember that Gillian Anderson wore this same dress to the Harper’s Bazaar Woman of the Year awards back in November. She opted to line the gown, giving it a different look and feel entirely.

Maria Bello In Nicholas Oakwell Couture – Canadian Screen Awards

Maria Bello In Nicholas Oakwell Couture - Canadian Screen Awards

Maria Bello arrived at the Canadian Screen Awards at Sony Centre for the Performing Arts on Sunday (March 9) in Toronto, Canada.

The actress wore yet another Nicholas Oakwell Couture dress, this time from the Spring 2013 collection.

I love the relaxed silhouette of her white kaftan gown featuring shimmering striped embellishment, which she accented with a silver waistband.

Her delightful frock thankfully wasn’t over-accessorized, with just stud earrings styling the look and a simple bun providing the finishing touch.
