2010 Toronto Film Festival “You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger” Promotion – Freida Pinto In Narciso Rodriguez & Alexander McQueen

It seems like she’s been away from the red carpet for a very long time, but Freida Pinto made a welcome return this weekend at the 2010 Toronto Film Festival.

Her first duty was to attend the “You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger” Press Conference.

She opted to wear a vibrant blue Narciso Rodriguez Resort 2011 one-shoulder dress with a double looped black waistband.

This dress is event appropriate without being too boring.

Black strappy Roger Vivier sandals and Salvatore Ferragamo black minaudière clutch completed her look.

At the “You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger” Premiere, Freida opted to wear a look from Alexander McQueen’s Resort 2011 collection.

I love her black embroidered dress, but Frieda doesn’t to it justice unfortunately.

Firstly that’s too much hair for this kind of dress. She should have worn her hair back and showed off that stunning embroidered neckline.

I also find myself frustrated about what going on around her midriff.

Without a belt it hard to decide where her waistline is. As a result it looks like she’s wearing the dress too high around her torso.

The actress pairs her dress with the same heels as before and carries an Alexander McQueen knuckle duster clutch.

For a Guess event during the festival, Freida wore white cap sleeve jacquard knit dress which is very similar to a dress from the McQueen Pre-Fall 2010 collection.

She teamed her dress was paired with Jimmy Choo ‘Quantum’ sandals.

This is much more like it.

The look suits her better and is more in tune with her style.

2010 Emmy Awards – Julia Louis-Dreyfus In Narciso Rodriguez

Far From Being A Boring Black Gown Award
Usually we see Julianna Margulies wear Narciso Rodriguez, but Julia Louis-Dreyfus donned one of his stunning black gowns on the red carpet at the 2010 Emmy Awards last night.

Julia was nominated in the “Outstanding Actress in a Comedy” category for “The New Adventures of Old Christine.”

She wowed in her black column Narcisco Rodriguez dress with a sheer panel just above the midriff and a beaded bodice.

A black satin Christian Louboutin “Pharaon” clutch was added to her look, but she added some colour with her green Irene Neuwirth jewelry.

“Sex And The City 2″ London Premiere – Cynthia Nixon In Narciso Rodriguez

Cynthia Nixon opted to keep her look quite simple again at the “Sex And The City 2? London Premiere tonight.

It was simple but I loved the colour of her teal Narciso Rodriguez gown.

I loved the dress, but I wasn’t fond of the extensions.

Had it been thicker all over I think I would have loved it more.

At present it looks like a few wefts were added to the back.

A silver croc Nancy Gonzalez box clutch completed her look.

“The Laurence Olivier Awards” – Rachel Weisz In Narciso Rodriguez

Rachel Weisz was also at the “The Laurence Olivier Awards” last night where she picked up the Best Actress Award.

The British actress looked elegant in a one-shouldered Narciso Rodriguez dress, but I wasn’t crazy about the colour.

Had this been a midnight blue or navy I think I would have been totally in love with it.

Narciso Rodriguez Fall 2010

Narciso Rodriguez’ Fall 2010 gave us all his signatures.

Sleek tailoring, cut-outs, minimal lines and this time was saw more looser silhouettes.

Batman hats were in for Fall 2009. This season we have the bowl-shaped hats which are just as bold.

I loved the ombre looks. The green one was subtle, but the orange ones stood out like a beautiful flame.

We were presented with shearling cropped jackets, silk pencil skirts, asymmetrical dresses, an ombre angora coat and tapered pants.

A lot of the looks had one-sleeve, and the colour palette besides orange was mostly black and grey.

Kelly Rutherford, Tory Burch, Leigh Lezark (yes again) and Lauren Santo Domingo were in the front row.

2010 SAG Awards – Julianna Margulies In Narciso Rodriguez

If It Ain’t Broke Don’t Fix It Award
Like Sofia Vergara, Julianna Margulies opted to stick to the same designer who made her Globes gown – Narciso Rodriguez.

Her midnight blue velvet Narciso Rodriguez halter gown is so incredibly gorgeous.

She gives off a regal air in this gown, which is so befitting for the nominated actress.
