Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Nina Dobrev In Naeem Khan - The Vampire Diaries 100th Episode CelebrationNina Dobrev blew out the candles at ‘The Vampire Diaries’ 100th Episode Celebration yesterday, which was held in Atlanta, Georgia.

Showing off one of designer Naeem Khan’s non-gown confections, she debuted a starburst of a mini-dress—a fresh, fanciful look from the Spring 2014 collection.

The actress kept far away from vampy territory in this bright, flora- and fauna-embroidered frock that featured a brilliant rainbow of hues, which she complemented with a midnight-blue clutch and strappy sandals.

Nina did leave the braided updo on the runway, letting her long, raven locks cascade into ringlets. She also took a more minimal makeup route, with a nude lip and only a light smokey eye. No need to add more colour here.

This bold statement was short and sassy, but simultaneously chic and sophisticated. Talk about having your cake and eating it, too.

Jennifer Nettles In Naeem Khan - 2013 CMA Awards

Jennifer Nettles stunned while taking to the red carpet for the 47th annual CMA Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee yesterday evening.

The ‘Sugarland’ singer donned one of my favourite designers, Naeem Khan, selecting a crystal-and-mirror-beaded V-front gown with a heavenly blush tulle skirt from the designer’s Resort 2014 collection.

Robert Clergerie shoes and Neil Lane jewels accessorized her look, with her wavy tresses styled into a simple side-swept updo.

Kat Dennings In Naeem Khan - Thor LA Premiere

Continuing her promo-tour duties, Kat Dennings stepped out for the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Thor: The Dark World’ yesterday evening.

The actress wore a crimson-coloured Naeem Khan cocktail-length dress from the designer’s 2014 collection, which featured all-over damask-like floral embroidering. And while her gold confetti ‘Flavia’ clutch by Edie Parker certainly added a second eye-catching element to the outfit, it mostly made me think that this look is more than just a little ready for the holiday party scene.

To tie the look together, she wore nude pumps and a matching lip shade of red.

Best Dressed Of The Week - Anja Rubik In Elie Saab Couture, Padma Lakshmi In Naeem Khan

Anja Rubik won best dressed of the week by a very large margin in her Elie Saab Couture gown. You guys were truly enamoured by how graceful she looked in her sheer cape gown which she styled with a silver Corto Moltedo clutch.

There were so many I could’ve picked this week, but in the end I went with Padma Lakshmi in Naeem Khan. As a lover of colour, I was totally captivated by her strapless, striped gown.

Best Dressed Of The Week Michael B

The battle between Michael B. Jordan and Robert Pattinson raged on all weekend. His cool-blue Calvin Klein Collection suit styled with a grey tie was just 1% more stylish than Rob’s on this occasion.

I went with Idris Elba in Burberry Prorsum. I loved his winter coat and the overall laidback vibe of his rugged, semi-dressy look.

Padma Lakshmi In Naeem Khan - 2013 Alzheimer's Association Rita Hayworth 30th Anniversary

Padma Lakshmi attended the 2013 Alzheimer’s Association 30th Anniversary Rita Hayworth Gala held at The Waldorf Astoria in New York City yesterday evening.

The TV host looked outstanding wearing one of her – and my – favourite designers: Naeem Khan.

Fresh from his Spring 2014 collection, she selected a glorious brushstroke-stripe-print strapless gown with a multitude of colours which complemented her skin tone.

With just a few gold bangles and a copper lip colour, she opted to keep her glossy tresses tumbling around her shoulders.

I love the ethnic feel of this look. It feels like it has an interesting story or journey behind it: a rich heritage, if you will.
