Mulberry will be very happy because the aim of their dinner party was to introduce LA stars to their Fall 2010 collection, and it’s clearly already working.

Molly Sims and Liv Tyler have been spotted wearing the same dress within days of each other.

The strange thing about this, is that they’re both Rachel Zoe’s clients.

Surely someone at RZ HQ noted that Molly had already worn this Mulberry Raglan dress to the Mulberry dinner party 3 days before Liv.

Liv wore her dress on Friday with black heels as she posed onstage at the “Super” panel discussion during the 2010 Comic-Con convention in San Diego.

I’ll give this win to Liv because I think she’s a better fit for Mulberry.

The print works better with her darker hair, plus I like the way she’s had the dress nipped in at the waist to give the skirt more of a tulip shape.

Before anyone blames Brad, he’s currently with Cameron Diaz on her “Knight and Day” promo tour.

So who’s head may roll for this faux pa?

Emma Hill, Mulberry’s Creative Director, hosted a dinner in LA last night to introduced Hollywood starlets to the Mulberry Fall 2010 collection.

The dinner was followed by a pool party with special guest DJ Alexa Chung.

I’m not Alexa’s biggest fan, but I do love her look.

Whilst Rachel Bilson is wearing her denim shorts with simple tees, Alexa opted for a sexy satin Mulberry shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

It not a combo I would’ve thought of, but it really works for Alexa.

Her look was paired with black strappy sandals and her Mulberry leopard print ‘Alexa’ bag.

Cat Deeley wore a sequined LBD with a leather jacket and Mulberry Maggie booties.

Kate Bosworth let her accessories do the talking by sporting a Mulberry ‘Margret’ leopard print calf skin bag.

Shenae Grimes was my favourite at this event.

She looked cute in a Mulberry chain dress dress from the Fall 2010 collection.

I much prefer the her champagne coloured dress to the runway black.  I love this look so much I’ll ignore her ankle boots.

Molly Sims wore Mulberry Raglan dress which had a wild print all over. The dress paired with muted silver heels.

I love the flare of Jessica Stroup’s Mulberry skirt with crush sequins, but I don’t think she didn’t the skirt much justice with the halter and cardi.

The Mulberry Neely tote is the newest celebrities must have.

The chic and sophisticated Neely is a modern tote for busy girls-about-town.

The Fall 2010 bag is named after the lead character in “Valley of the Dolls” and will be available in a number of colours and fabrics.

It works well on duty as demonstrated by Olivia Palermo and off-duty as shown by Michelle Trachtenberg, Fearne Cotton and Blake Lively on the ‘Gossip Girl’ set.

With the ‘Alexa’ Mulberry bag selling out the moment it goes on shelves, will it’s sister bag become a big hit too?

Julianne Moore looked very happy walking the red carpet for “The Kids Are All Right” LA Premiere.

The actress dazzled wearing a Mulberry Fall 2010 dress.

Yes it’s another black Fall dress on the red carpet, but again I find myself liking this one.

Mostly because of the embellishments and the length, but also because I happy to see Mulberry on the red carpet.

Celebs often carry their bags, but it’s nice to see them supporting the clothing line.

Julianne completes her look with Nicholas Kirkwood black satin sandals with pearl platform and silver bracelets on both wrists.

Rihanna continues to rack up the air-miles as she was recently in London promoting her new album.

She didn’t attend any shows during London Fashion Week, but its seems like she was keeping up on the London fashion scene as she was spotted leaving her hotel in London wearing a Felder Felder Fall 2010 tan leather coat.

The cozy coat had a fur trimmed hood with wide lapels.

She was seen talking to fans and signing autographs, but I was drooling over her quilted Mulberry Bayswater bag and her Chloe heels.

Head-to-toe I’m loving this look.

Alexa Chung has been seen frequently with her tan Mulberry bag.

Turns out this leather bag actually named after the British style icon, as Mulberry have called it the ‘Alexa’.

It’s a cross between the Mulberry Bayswater and the Mulberry mens briefcase, therefore mixing femininity and masculinity as effortlessly as Alexa combines in her everyday style.

This bag hits stores on Monday were you can pick up this bag in a variety of colours from £695 / $950.

You can find more details at Mulberry.com.

Alexa joins a list of celebrities who’ve had bags named after them.

The Birkin, The Kelly, The Stam and even The BB, which was a Marc Jacobs bag named after fashion blogger Bryan Boy.
