Amber Valletta In Mulberry – ‘Wonderstruck’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Amber Valletta joined Michelle Williams and Julianne Moore for the ‘Wonderstruck’ premiere during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival today (May 18).

Mulberry isn’t a brand you really associate with red carpet looks, especially at Cannes, so I’m not surprised that I couldn’t find it in my heart to fall in love with Amber’s Fall 2017 – especially when I prefer the runway look.

Much like Robin Wright’s Saint Laurent look yesterday, this would make for a great party frock, but isn’t Cannes premiere worthy.

Where have all the go-big or go-home, BDOTY-worthy looks gone this year?

Is everyone saving them for the amfAR Gala?

2015 Jameson Empire Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 Jameson Empire Awards Red Carpet Roundup

In addition to Jessica Chastain and Karen Gillan, many other lovely ladies also attended the 2015 Jameson Empire Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Sunday (March 29) in London, England.

Ellie Bamber: The stunning red head wore a graphic, black and white patchwork inspired tiger print Giles gown with a slight high/low hemline and KG Kurt Geiger ‘Harlow pumps. Easy waves in her long hair and slightly moody eye makeup complete the look.

Gemma Chan: For her turn on the red carpet, Gemma went for head-to-toe Mulberry. Her long-sleeved double-sided Mulberry Fall 2014 dress is both chic and youthful with its simple lines and orange swirl print. The burgundy, patent knee-high boots and peach-colored ‘Bayswater’ clutch are unsurprisingly the perfect complements to the dress.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Mulberry – The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Mulberry - The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust today (March 27) in London, England, to see first-hand how the charity helps and provide services to youngsters in schools and local communities.

This will be the couples last public appearance together before they become parents for the second time.

The expectant Duchess, who is due to give birth around mid to late April, dressed her baby bump in a Mulberry fuchsia-pink coat which she previously wore during her two-day visit to New York in December.

Could this be a not-so-subtle hint that the Duchess is having a girl? We’ll have to wait and see.

Cara Delevingne In Mulberry – 2015 BAFTA LA Tea Party

Cara Delevingne In Mulberry - 2015 BAFTA Tea Party

Cara Delevingne attended the 2015 BAFTA LA Tea Party held at The Four Seasons Hotel on Saturday (January 10) in Beverly Hills, California.

The British model wore a Mulberry Spring 2015 leather dress with perforated detailing giving this simple silhouette a sexy edge, so it’s no wonder she was drawn to this piece.

From the front, this look this couldn’t be more perfectly fit for her style.

Upon seeing the back I am slightly perplexed by the Mulberry back pack. Despite the fact that this bag was named in her honour it just doesn’t work for me on the red carpet.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Mulberry, Seraphine & Jenny Packham – New York Official Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Mulberry, Seraphine & Jenny Packham - New York Official Visit

On the third day (December 9) of the official visit of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, to New York City the couple made several appearances.

The National September 11 Memorial Museum Visit: After grey and black we were finally treated to some colour from the Duchess. Once again she opted for a timeless winter coat courtesy of Mulberry in a classic silhouette rendered in a vibrant cerise hue. The look was of course styled with all black accessories complementing the buttons on the double-breasted design.

Creativity Is GREAT Britain’s Creative Industries Event: Her second look – revealed when she removed her coat – was a black turtleneck dress from her go-to maternity designer, Seraphine. The look was styled with her favourite Cartier Trinity necklace. You may remember that the Duchess debuted the piece at a 2012 National Portrait Gallery exhibition.

St Andrews 600th Anniversary Dinner: And finally, the event I had been waiting for. A gala dinner party that would see the Duchess blow me away in a stunning gown. Sadly, that didn’t come to pass. Her dark green Jenny Packham Fall 2013 gown accented with a black waistband was a three-peat, having been worn to the 100 Women In Hedge Funds dinner in October 2013 and the National Portrait Gallery event in February 2014. The only things of note here are her stunning emerald and diamond jewels plus that elegant updo.

While none of the looks have been bad, there was just nothing to get excited about. I would like to believe that had the weather been warmer we would’ve seen more than different coats in similar silhouettes, but even this summer we were treated to coat/dress after coat/dress so I can’t have total faith in that belief.
