The Fashion Awards 2017 Red Carpet Roundup

The long list of stars continued in full force at The Fashion Awards 2017 on Monday (December 4) in London.

Kaia Geber: I loved seeing the young model have some fun with the flirty nature of ruffles in this Ralph & Russo Spring 2018 two-piece, cold-shoulder look. It was style-forward, chic, and sweet at the same time. Messika jewels completed her look.

Adwoa Aboah: There was no sequin left unturned in this Halpern Spring 2018 sequin number, but it was the platform footwear that compromised its fresh potential.

Jourdan Dunn: The sultry seduction of the Versace label was fully celebrated in this orange gown. But I most loved the model’s gorgeous beauty look.

Amber Rose Revah In Mulberry – ‘Marvel’s The Punisher’ New York Premiere

Amber Rose Revah joined Jaime Ray Newman for the New York premiere of ‘Marvel’s The Punisher’ on Monday (November 6).

Her Mulberry Fall 2017 tiered, ruffle dress would never be faulted for lack of embroidery or fabric.

But, despite the sensory explosion and generous proportions, I think she managed it quite well.

The metallic-laced colour palette was lovely on her complexion, as she further emboldened the look with her rich burgundy lip and silver clutch and sandals.

Rita Ora In Gosha Rubchinskiy & Mulberry – BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards

Rita Ora attended the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards at Wembley Arena on Sunday (October 22) in London alongside Dua Lipa and Camila Cabello.

If you are anything like me you’ll be surprised to learn that this not Burberry.

This check print is synonymous with the brand; and proved to be a big focus for their September 2017 collection which Rihanna has recently worn.

Instead this look came courtesy of Gosha Rubchinskiy’s Spring 2018 collection.

I kinda don’t mind this nostalgic trip down memory lane, as I recall seeing this check print a lot in the 00s before Danniella Westbrook almost single-handedly ruined the brand with one look, but I do object to the socks and loafers combo. It took the look into boy scout territory.

All The Looks From Rita Ora’s ‘Anywhere’ Music Video Shoot

With a dizzying and dazzling array of wardrobe changes, Rita Ora whisked through eight ensembles while filming her new ‘Anywhere’ music video in New York City on Thursday (October 5). Although many of the looks had a distinctly ‘Rita’ aesthetic, it looks like the sartorial story was also inspired by ‘Sex and the City,’ which naturally created a host of even more memorably modish moments for the singer.

First up, the performer hit the NYC streets, but it was her high boots that did all the walking in this Off White Fall 2017 look that she translated straight from the runway. Electric-blue will always capture my affection, and that didn’t change here with this lush, velveteen coat-dress that was balanced by the quirkiness of the plaid footwear. Alexis Bittar earrings completed this enchanting-cool, fall look.

Amber Rose Revah In Mulberry London – BFI Luminous Fundraising Gala

Amber Rose Revah was one of the many English actresses to attend the BFI Luminous Fundraising Gala at The Guildhall on Tuesday (October 3) in London, where she joined Tilda Swinton and Michelle Dockery.

Growing up watching my mother crochet as a child, I felt a sense of nostalgia when I saw Amber’s Mulberry London Fall 2017 dress.

While the delicate lace crochet lends a pretty retro feel her lavender look, I have to say the yellow layer is throwing me off loving this dress in its entirety; as it take the dress down a grannyish path, when I feel its purpose was to do the opposite.

I know ya’ll will reject the black boy shorts – or granny panties as you not-so-loving prefer – but I don’t feel lining this look would not worked as successfully as Hiba Abouk’s Dior dress.
