Jennifer Lawrence In Ulla Johnson & Mugler by David Koma – ‘Good Morning America’ & ‘The Colbert Report’

Jennifer Lawrence In Ulla Johnson & Mugler by David Koma - 'Good Morning America' & 'The Colbert Report'

Jennifer Lawrence continued to promote ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ on ‘Good Morning America’ and ‘The Colbert Report’ in New York City yesterday (November 14) ahead of its November 21 release in the US.

‘Good Morning America': The actress started her day wearing a white and grey striped Ulla Johnson Spring 2014 shirt-dress with an interesting layered knotted skirt, which was a perfectly relaxed, laidback look for morning TV. She styled the look with Aquazzura taupe ‘Viola’ sandals and Oliver Peoples Shaelie mirrored sunglasses with her wavy hair pinned back on both sides.

‘The Colbert Report': Her second look of the day came much later in the evening and was once again created by David Koma for Mugler. Her blue mini dress with a plunging neckline and matching blazer features the same stitching details we saw on her after-party gown. Adding a touch of sparkle to her look, she wore Christian Louboutin embellished black pumps, once again opting to pin her hair back.

I’m more inclined to favour the chic tailoring of the second look, but I love the youthfulness and laidback nature of the first look.

Jennifer Lawrence In Mulger by David Koma – ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ After-Party

Jennifer Lawrence In Mulger by David Koma - 'The Hunger Games Mockingjay – Part 1' After-Party

Jennifer Lawrence attended the after-party following the world premiere of ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ held at Victoria House on Monday (November 10) in London, England.

Changing out of the Dior frock into something a lot more risqué, the actress wore a white gown with a deep V neckline, an open back and metal detailing which was designed especially for her by Mugler’s creative director, David Koma.

It’s not often I get to use the words ‘Jennifer Lawrence’ and ‘sexy’ in the same sentence, but on this occasion it would be impossible not to with so much cleavage on display.

Creases aside, I love this more mature look. So far I have been impressed with the variety in Jennifer’s looks; perhaps it’s not going to be the Dior-fest I thought it was going to be after all.

Elevating the silver-toned detailing, she styled her look with matching open-toe sandals and David Webb jewels.

Many took great exception to her premiere makeup, but I don’t think much has changed in that department for the after-party so possibly the lighting was at fault for what many deemed to be a makeup malfunction.

2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Models Red Carpet Roundup

2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Models Red Carpet Roundup

Taylor Swift and Ciara weren’t the only ones making a splash at the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, held at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City yesterday. The red carpet played host to a handful of the show’s leggy models, all of whom wore only slightly less revealing clothing than what was shown on the runway.

Lindsay Ellingson: Decked out in a structural burgundy-hued minidress courtesy of Mugler Spring 2013, Lindsay took a more futuristic approach to sexy styling. To lighten the mood, she accessorized with powder pink pumps.

Karlie Kloss: The statuesque model chose an off-the-shoulder, cleavage-enhancing LWD from Cushnie Et Ochs Resort 2014, and paired it with a white studded Rebecca Minkoff  ‘Coco’ clutch and black sandals.

Alessandra Ambrosio: The Angel showed off her toned physique in a red leather Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2014 look, which featured a daring open front and strange triangle-shaped detail at the skirt’s hem. Metallic pumps and a gold cuff bracelet completed the look.

Nicole Richie In Balmain & Mugler – Out In New York City

Nicole Richie In Balmain & Mugler - Out In New York City

After working a colourful look following her guest-host spot on ‘Live with Kelly and Michael’, it was back to classic black-and-white for Nicole Richie, who was spotted shopping at Curve in New York City yesterday afternoon.

The designer wore a Mugler white cropped blouse featuring a high-necked silhouette, with the button placket concealed by an asymmetrical panel to give the look a signature edge, which she wore with a pair of Balmain stretch-leather pants, an edgy take on the classic racer trousers featuring quilted ribbed panels, side-zipper pockets and silver-tone hardware.

Borrowed from the boys, Saint Laurent perforated two-tone derby flats completed her look.

While I wouldn’t consider this look my style, she sells it to me so hard I want every piece. Even the shoes.

Rita Ora In Mugler – Global Gathering Music Festival

Rita Ora In Mugler - Global Gathering Music Festival

Like Rihanna is prone to do, Rita Ora also recently borrowed from the boys for her performance at the Global Gathering Music Festival in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK last Friday.

The edgy songstress put the freak in bubblegum pink, rocking out in a funky Mugler ensemble from the Fall 2013 menswear collection.

Shiny and plasticized, the heavy-duty, military-inspired vest and pants, accented with black racing stripes, had a sci-fi-meets-storm trooper vibe that was carried through to those mini hair buns. She also made good use of the sleeveless vest’s dramatic hood piece throughout her time on stage.

Topped off the look with molded black sneakers and a neon-magenta lip, Rita showed all the guys the real way to wear pink.
