Stuart Weitzman’s Fall 2018 Presentation

Lovely ladies put their best foot forward at the Stuart Weitzman Fashion Week Cocktail Party on Thursday (February 8) in New York City.

Doutzen Kroes: Not shying away from making a statement, the Dutch model was clad in an Ingorokva coat and Stuart Weitzman ‘Histyle’ boots. The patent black trench plays off the scrunched effect of the red leather footwear. This is a tricky silhouette to pull off and needed someone of her stature to do it.

Solange Knowles: The singer had plenty of interest in her ensemble with the sharp lines of the Mugler Resort 2018 separates, the Stuart Weitzman ‘Shoebox’ clutch and ‘Eventually’ pumps, and mismatched earrings. I must admit that my eye is still drawn to her pale blonde afro. It had a halo quality in the way it framed her face.

Camilla Belle: Channeling soft sensuality, she wore an Adeam Spring 2018 dress with Stuart Weitzman ‘Alterego’ pumps and John Hardy jewels. It has a retro sentiment without becoming cliché thanks to the cool-toned colour palette and injection of bright pink lipstick.

Dakota Fanning In Mugler – Watch What Happens Live

Dakota Fanning was a guest on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ on Wednesday (January 31), where the young actress was on the show to promote her new series, ‘The Alienist’.

I was surprised to see her wearing a Mugler Fall 2017 dress which possessed a hint of modern rebellion thanks to the sliced skirt along one side to reveal a knife-pleated metallic panel.

My wish that she had lived up to the vibe of the dress a bit more with a flick of black cat-eyeliner and a slick ponytail.

DuJour Celebrates Winter Cover Star Diane Kruger (in Mugler)

DuJour’s Jason Binn threw a party at Vnyl on Thursday (January 25) in New York City to celebrates winter cover star Diane Kruger.

As we all know Diane had a rollercoaster ride when it comes to her red carpet style in 2017 (with more ups than downs I have to point out), so when I see this Mugler Spring 2018 look I’m reminded of why I love her style.

At the core of this look is smart trouers with a casual vest top, yet the structure of the trousers and the corseted belt take it into high-fashion, almost avant-garde territory which I simply adore.

Gal Gadot In Mugler – Revlon’s ‘Live Boldly’ Campaign Launch

After a bold start – colour-wise – to 2018, Gal Gadot wore her second smoldering black look in a row for the Revlon Live Boldly launch event on Wednesday (January 24) in New York City.

I love how the embellishments adds modern character to this tailored jumpsuit from Mugler’s Spring collection.

I feel that many will be put off by the snugness of the pants and the sheer element.

Personally, I love the playful twist of the sheer trousers and the ode to her Woman Woman character.

Hailee Steinfeld In Mugler – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Hailee Steinfeld continued to promote her new film, ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Thursday (December 14).

If your vision for Mugler is only strict tailoring and pointy shoulders, Hailee’s Resort 2018 look shows that while brand does stick to its unmistakably sleek aesthetic, it does have a slightly softer side.

Some might question the protruding leather belt for a event that required her to sit, but the detail only manifests itself at the front.

‘Pitch Perfect 3’ LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

The ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ LA premiere had a trio of additional starlets to its name, joining Elizabeth Banks and the rest of the leading ladies of the flick on Tuesday (December 12) in Hollywood, California.

Kelley Jakle: The velveteen lushness of this Miri Spring 2018 half-and-half gown received a lighter finish with the silken, pale-pink plisse skirting.

Chrissie Fit: I have a feeling this halter cutout silhouette of this House of CB bronze gown may resonate with some as a been-there-done-that trend.

Alexis Knapp: The slivers of cutouts in this Mugler mini resonated as a bit more relevant yet boasted the signature bold, ’80s-infuenced shoulder of the designer. Giuseppe Zanotti metallic sandals and Rachel Katz earrings completed the red-hot, leggy look.
