2017 Whitney Art Party Red Carpet Roundup

In addition to Nina Dobrev and Hilary Rhoda, there were more pretties on the scene at the 2017 Whitney Art Party on Tuesday (November 14) in New York City.

Leigh Lezark: This Monse Resort 2018 ensemble is such a signature mix of masculine and feminine inspirations that you will likely remember Fan Bingbing wearing it, as well. However, I like Leigh’s effortless variation on it with the red sandals and cool-girl attitude.

Zosia Mamet: Zosia’s style continues to evolve—and I continue to become more impressed with the level of polish. This Monse Fall 2017 ensemble styled with Wolford ‘Pure 50’ tights was so directionally edgy for the ‘Girls’ actress whilst maintaining a sense of modern refinement. I like how every detail—from the necklaces to the grommet belt and booties—feels well thought-out and rightfully placed without being overcooked.

Natasha Poly: I found the model’s Monse Spring 2018 ensemble so intriguing for the sassy-romantic drape of the top juxtaposed with the distressed, cropped denim for a thoroughly different take on modern femininity that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Juno Temple In Monse – 9th Annual Governors Awards

Working the velvet trend, Juno Temple was also at the 9th Annual Governors Awards on Saturday (November 11) in Hollywood, California.

Her plush Monse Fall 2017 one-shoulder gown would not be missed for its boldness of hue.

While I do think the floor-sweeping dress was a bit much for her petite frame, what couldn’t be overlooked was the styling.

Perhaps the Sophia Webster ‘Lilico Crystal’ platform sandals were chosen for their height. But, together with the high ponytail, they took the gown into more juvenile territory.

I longed for something far more seductively streamlined in the footwear department, especially since the matching black Tyler Ellis clutch drew more attention down to the shoes.

You may remember that Thandie Newton wore a Swarovski crystal decked version of this same dress to the 2017 Met Gala.

SAG-AFTRA Foundation Patron of the Artists Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The red carpet was alight with stylish stars at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Patron of the Artists Awards on Thursday (November 9) in Beverly Hills, California.

Kristen Bell: It may be autumn, but the actress kept the spring spirit alive in a Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2017 dress. The yellow and blue blooms had an ebullient mood which was enhanced with Jennifer Meyer jewels and white heels.

Andrew Garfield: Cutting a dapper figure, the ‘Breathe’ actor broke away from coordinates, pairing a brown and navy check jacket with slim navy trousers. A dark blue sweater completed the ensemble, presenting a modern alternative to a suit and tie.

Tracee Ellis Ross: The ‘Black-ish’ actress’s love of fashion is apparent in many of her outfits, including this vintage Pierre Balmain dress from Shrimpton Couture. She committed to the glamorous retro theme with red Christian Louboutin pumps and a Les Petits Joueurs bag.

Diane Kruger In Monse – Sloan Film Summit 2017

Diane Kruger was at the Sloan Film Summit 2017 on Friday (October 27) in LA.

The actress brings such cool-girl allure to the sexy-sporty looks she wears—even when it comes to the menswear notions of this Monse Spring 2018 preppy, windowpane mini.

I just love the juxtaposition between the cinched-in waist that recognizes the feminine form in contrast to the overly long sleeves that echoes the men’s sport-coat theme.

With creamy-white pumps to complete the ensemble, she has yet again made me want to wear a look I would have originally never put a second glance to.

CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Show Red Carpet Roundup

The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund show on Wednesday (October 25) in Los Angeles, California presented a myriad of exciting looks thanks to the number of stylish women in attendance.

Millie Bobby Brown: This minimalist Calvin Klein look helped cement the ‘Stranger Things’ actress’s status as a young starlet who has an innate sense of style. Some might deem this outfit as a tad too sophisticated for a 13-year-old, but I found the mix of the white halter dress against the bold black accessories brilliant. It showed that younger celebs don’t always need to go the princess route.

Nikki Reed: The actress’s Emporio Armani Spring 2017 separates had an easy elegance. Critics might find that the ensemble looked too much like pjamas, but the vibrant colour and the contrasting candy cane-like stripes on the cuffs and hem presented a fun finish. The tailoring was also beautifully done. The look was styled with Casadei sandals and a Lee Savage clutch.

Kaia Gerber: The model was another one who sported a chic outfit that revealed a mature sense of styling. The demure below-the-knee Veronica Beard Spring 2018 dress didn’t feel dowdy thanks to the white and red check. Plus, her bold accessories lent a youthful vibe to the frock.

Maggie Gyllenhaal In Monse – 2017 American Ballet Theatre Fall Gala

Maggie Gyllenhaal was smoldering on the red carpet for the American Ballet Theatre Fall Gala on Wednesday (October 18) in New York City.

Aside from the intricate one-shoulder structure of the Monse Fall 2017 piece, the colour also enhances the look for maximum visual effect that makes a lasting impression.

I love how this look presents a dimensional flair which Maggie wears with elegance.

Embellished pumps and a bold red lip provided the finishing touches.
