Naomie Harris In Monique Lhuillier - Finch’s Quarterly Review Filmmakers Dinner

Naomie Harris attended the Finch’s Quarterly Review Filmmakers Dinner at Hotel Du Cap Eden Roc during the Cannes Film Festival yesterday.

The British actress wore a bright pink Monique Lhuillier gown from the Resort 2013 collection.

While this dress is perfectly lovely, and Naomie is beautiful, the stying is underwhelming.

Perhaps a bright fuchsia lip, similar to the one seen on the runway model, or even a brightly colored pair of statement earrings would have livened things up a bit.

Somehow the whole thing just feels too safe and muted for the lovely actress.

Nina Dobrev’s Monique Lhuillier Met Gala look was your best dressed this week.

Even though you guys didn’t rate her, Amber Heard in Emilio Pucci was my best dressed this week by a very long mile.

Between the colour, the embellishments, impeccable styling and that sexy open back, I was hooked.

When it came to the guys, it was a two-horse race between Eddie Redmayne and Chris Pine. Eventually, Chris won for his very dapper Ralph Lauren pinstripe three-piece suit.

Stacy Keibler In Monique Lhuillier - 2013 A&E Networks Upfront Event

Stacy Keibler attended the 2013 A&E Networks Upfront event, held at the Lincoln Center in New York City on Wednesday, alongside Chloe Sevigny and Ashanti.

The ‘Supermarket Superstars’ actress wore a Monique Lhuillier Spring 2013 dress.

I’m really surprised at how her sleeveless garnet sculpted leather dress doesn’t have the waist-narrowing effect it should.

She should’ve added the leather belt as presented on the runway.

White Alejandro Ingelmo ‘Athena’ pumps and Jennifer Fisher jewels accessorized her look, with a wavy ponytail and glossy lips providing the finishing touches.

Nina Dobrev In Monique Lhuillier - 2013 Met Gala

‘Vampire Diaries’ star Nina Dobrev went for it with the punk theme at the Met Gala, and is looking totally sexy on the red carpet.

Wearing a Monique Lhuillier corseted, black lace pantsuit accented with a black leather halter and tulle overskirt, Nina is beyond fierce.

Her Rupert Sanderson pumps are the perfect accent.

Her strong cat eye and side swept locks say punk without getting costumey, and her jewels add some glamour to the entire look.

I think Nina is one of the best of the night by going punk without looking like she’s dressed for Halloween. Do you agree?

First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama showed us again that she’s also a first lady of style, as she shared a laugh with host, Conan O’Brien, at the 2013 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington D.C. last night.

Even though we can only see the upper half of her Monique Lhuillier goddess-like confection, it’s not difficult to see she was one of the best-dressed of the evening.

The black fitted chiffon gown’s high neckline featured delicate Chantilly lace scattered with intricate jet-black stones that cascaded around her neck and shoulders.

So as not to compete with the embellishment of the dress, Michelle wore a classic updo, complete with her trendsetting bangs.

Julie Bowen In Monique Lhuillier - 2013 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner

‘Modern Family’ star Julie Bowen was another guest on the who’s who list at last night’s White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington, D.C.

She wore a strapless dress from Monique Lhuillier’s Fall 2013 collection, which was steeped in red-carpet options. I’m just not sure this was one of my favourites.

With the chrome pebbled-brick pattern and high-low hemline, the overall effect felt a bit contrived and overly flashy, especially for this event.

The straight line of the sculpted bodice and the loosely hung silhouette also did no justice to Julie’s figure.

Plain black Rupert Sanderson pumps and Neil Lane jewels completed the look, along with an overly styled updo that managed to age this glowing actress. Perhaps if she had worn her hair down, it would have softened the edges here.
