Kiernan Shipka In Miu Miu – Hollywood Foreign Press Association Cocktail Party

Kiernan Shipka would not be easily missed at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Cocktail Party, hosted on Saturday (September 2) during the Venice Film Festival.

Bold. Eccentric. Bedazzled. All the hallmarks of Miu Miu quirk were presented and accounted for in this Fall 2017 head-to-toe look that made use of a madcap mix of chartreuse and golden yellow hues.

I loved Kiernan’s embrace of this retro-forward ensemble; however, I think I would have preferred it with a sleeker ‘do and a less severe lip. What about you?

Venice Film Festival Red Carpet Roundup

More stars took to the red carpet on Monday (September 4), as the Venice Film Festival marched on.

Levante: This embellished Alberta Ferretti Fall 2017 gown was originally shown with a full lining, leaving many of you—and myself included—likely to wonder why Levante opted to go sheer instead at the ‘Una Famiglia’ premiere.

Micaela Ramazzotti: The magpie-attracting embellishment of Prada was not lost on this glittery look that Micaela wore at the ‘Una Famiglia’ premiere, but she did lose me at the unnecessary cuff and the gigantic platform shoes.

Chloe Sevigny In Miu Miu – ‘Lean On Pete’ Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Chloe Sevigny was having a Miu Miu moment today (September 1) during Venice Film Festival while promoting her new film, ‘Lean on Pete’.

Photocall: Orchestrating a charming summery impression, I love the retro inspired styling for her on-trend gingham Miu Miu romper. I’m not usually a fan of kitten heels, yet they work seamlessly with the nonchalant vibe of the look alongside a small, but perfectly formed, Miu Miu bucket bag featuring a medley of paisley, elephant and sphinx prints from the Spring 2012 collection.

Premiere: Her second Miu Miu frock appeared to take its cues from flamenco dresses. With its V-neck and delicate ruffles, it was ready for heeled sandals and a glamorous clutch. Sadly, not all the accessories worked on this occasion. The Miu Miu shoes are typically quirky so I can live with them, it’s the velvet black bag that throws me off. Had it been in green to complement the sequin apples, perhaps I would’ve been on board.

Elle Fanning In Miu Miu – SiriusXM

Elle Fanning paid a visit to SiriusXM in New York City on Wednesday (August 30), where she promoted her new film ‘Leap’.

The actress wore a Miu Miu Resort 2018 boiler suit with the cartoon print taking center-stage.

Now, boiler suits are often considered ugly or difficult to style, but Elle totally nailed her look by adding a dose of retro charm via the race track flag sandals.

Elizabeth Olsen In Miu Miu & Christian Dior Couture – Good Morning America & ‘Wind River’ New York Screening

Following her ‘Ingrid Goes West’ Miami premiere last week, Elizabeth Olsen was back promoting ‘Wind River’ with two different looks.

Good Morning America: I love how her Miu Miu’s long-sleeved Resort 2018 dress is cut above the knee for flirtatious appeal. The simple silhouette is endlessly flattering with the contrasting collar adding an extra dose of fun. I would’ve adore this look even for had she worn Mary Janes for a retro-inspired finish, but she opted for Christian Louboutin ‘Decollete 554’ pumps.

‘Wind River’ New York Screening: You may be shocked to discover that I love this Christian Dior Haute Couture iron-grey pleated jumpsuit. I am totally swept away by the regality of it all and the fact that it befits a gritty Weinstein Company thriller. Take in the flawless makeup and wavy tresses and I think she totally nailed this look. Sophisticated without being boring or aging her. Dauphin rings and Gianvito Rossi pumps completed her look.
