L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth Celebration

The L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth Celebration took place in New York on Wednesday (December 6) with plenty of familiar faces for the beauty brand, alongside the newest ambassador, Camila Cabello.

Elle Fanning: Some might be longing for some colour, but the love wintery vibe of Elle’s Miu Miu Spring 2018 patterned dress with festive miniature baubles and snow-like wool accents adding a cute twist to this playful piece. The look was styled with Erdem x H&M earrings and Miu Miu pumps

Camila Cabello: The young singer is still experimenting when it comes to her style, however, my feeling is this style of look is way too mature. I would’ve adored this on Helen Mirren, but it doesn’t work for the youngster. Narcisa Pheres earrings rounded out her look.

The Teen Vogue Summit LA: Keynote Conversation

A number of starlets turned out for the Teen Vogue Summit LA: Keynote Conversation with ‘A Wrinkle In Time’ director Ava Duvernay and actresses Storm Reid and Rowan Blanchard on Saturday (December 2) in Playa Vista, California.

Storm Reid: The 14-year-old PYT had fun with shimmery fringe in a JI OH Spring 2017 dress with white booties. But, I was most interested in her beautiful curls.

Yara Shahidi: I like that Yara introduced this zesty lime-green hue into her 3.1 Phillip Lim ensemble with the on-trend, navy paper-bag waist trousers.

Elaine Welteroth: Also channeling the retro flair of white boots, Elaine put a funky twist on the pink primness of her Proenza Schouler Spring 2018 wrap dress which Ana de Armas previously has worn. As with Storm, I was more focused on her hair, which made the look more striking as a result.

Margot Robbie In Miu Miu – Indie Contenders Roundtable

Margot Robbie joined Diane Kruger at the Indie Contenders Roundtable on Sunday (November 12) in Hollywood, California.

The actress gave her red plaid Miu Miu Spring 2018 dress a grunge undertone by layering it over a white tank top. Chunky black platforms added more edge.

I love how she made the look her own and how it contrasts the version seen on the runway. It also suits the darker mood she has been projecting with other ensembles lately.

The only thing that lets the outfit down slightly for me is that I wish the frock was shortened a few inches, like the original version.

Do you like the way she styled the dress?

Diane Kruger In Miu Miu – Indie Contenders Roundtable

Diane Kruger attended the Indie Contenders Roundtable on Sunday (November 12) in Hollywood, California.

The actress had a few looks that left you wanting more, but she has regained her fashion-forward edge lately. This Miu Miu Resort 2018 dress will hopefully earn her favorable reviews.

The traditional skater dress has been given a makeover to suit the brand’s eccentric touch. The oxblood fabric is enlivened with rhinestones with the heavy embellishment on the shoulders bringing further attention to the decorated pointed collar.

The exaggerated draped sleeves might be the detail that loses a few fans, but there is still a modernity to the silhouette.

Taupe shoes added to the luxurious colour palette with the golden ankle strap adding more shine.

9th Annual Governors Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The long list of stars continued at the 9th Annual Governors Awards on Saturday (November 11) in Hollywood, California. Here, a look at the rest of the glamorous ensembles that graced the red carpet.

Jessica Chastain: Flame-red locks and a flame-red gown made for a perfected, fiery match in this Alexander McQueen gown that was topped off with even more elegantly sultry attitude in her red lip.

Kristen Wiig: I’m not sure this Galvan London Fall 2017 velvet gown photographed as well as it could have. But, I still liked her embrace of the daring plunge and the pairing of the Atelier Swarovski by Christopher Kane jewels and Djula diamond hoops.

Sarah Paulson: Channeling a gothic twist on glamour, Sarah showed off the darkly sophisticated side of Miu Miu with this embellished, bold-shoulder gown that was finished in similar mood with an oxblood lip and a Tyler Ellis clutch.

End Of The Week Red Carpet Roundup

There were so many looks this week, that we’re going to cram them into this final post.

Josephine De La Baume: Attending the ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ world premiere, the French actress opted to infuse her red carpet style with high-voltage seduction courtesy of this Self-Portrait devore mini dress from the Fall 2017 collection. I’m not usually a big fan of platform shoes, but I find myself buying what she’s selling as these Miu Miu Mary Janes add a playful vibe.

Martha Hunt: I love the fashion forward feel of this Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh black cropped blazer and sequin dress from the Fall 2017 collection with simple black pumps. Worn to the World of Children Awards, this was a truly intriguing look I have to say.

Ajak Deng: This saffron yellow Roksanda ‘Tamiko’ jumpsuit from the Fall 2017 collection gave me so much joy at the ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ world premiere. I love the relaxed nature of it all with the chunky heels adding a utilitarian flavour.

Millie Bobby Brown promotes ‘Stranger Things 2’ in Gucci, Rodarte & Miu Miu

There was nothing scary about Millie Bobby Brown’s style as she served up three looks while promoting ‘Stranger Things 2’ in New York City on Halloween (October 31).

Good Morning America: Now, I have to admit, I don’t really understand the dissatisfaction some have with her style. This Gucci dress sees the English actress combine retro references and patriotism in a cute fun way, especially when you factor in the pearl-accented Gucci ‘Luna’ pumps which are playfully feminine with a bite.

Build Series: This crop top and wide leg combo might be deemed too mature for Millie, but I feel the sparkly Rodarte Los Angeles sequin bomber jacket keeps the look firmly in teenville. Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Angie’ rose-gold sandals completed her look.
