Florence Welch In Miu Miu - ‘The Great Gatsby’ Premiere & Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Florence Welch continued her love affair with Miu Miu when she took to the red carpet for this evening’s ‘The Great Gatsby’ Cannes Film Festival premiere, which also served as the Opening Ceremony.

You may remember she looked amazing in Miu Miu for the New York premiere; in Cannes, not so much.

This look is just too garish for me, from the pepto-bismal pink colour and the polka dots of the dress to the hideous Miu Miu yellow-and-black platforms.

The kooky factor has to be admired, but I wish she selected one of her other favoured brands like Givenchy or Naeem Khan.

I will have nightmares that those shoes graced the Grand Théâtre Lumière tonight.

Kate Bosworth In Miu Miu - 'Black Rock' LA Screening

Kate Bosworth attended the screening of her latest movie ‘Black Rock’, held at ArcLight Hollywood in California on Wednesday evening.

The actress wore a Miu Miu dress which featured a pearl-grey satin godet skirt and a white-and-silver embroidered top.

Kate’s dress – which is too cutesy for my taste and would’ve been better suited to a teen star – was styled with metallic-silver Prada pumps and a blue python Prada clutch.

An orange-red lip colour and a simple ponytail completed her look.

Florence Welch In Miu Miu - ‘The Great Gatsby’ New York Premiere

Florence Welch joined Carey Mulligan on the red carpet on Wednesday night for ‘The Great Gatsby’ world premiere held at Avery Fisher Hall at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City.

After wearing Prada on Tuesday evening, she selected Miu Miu on this occasion.

Her navy silk-crepe long-sleeved Fall 2013 gown not only features sparkling paillette embroidery on the capelet and neck-tie, but also features a sexy open back and central slit.

Keeping the blue Miu Miu train rolling, the singer styled her look with a royal-blue Miu Miu leather gold-framed bag and navy-and-silver trim and Sorellina rings.

The colour is perfect for her porcelain complexion and, like Carey, Florence also opted for a barely there makeup look.

When it comes to eveningwear Miuccia has more misses than hits. This is a certified rare hit.

Jada Pinkett Smith In Miu Miu - 'Free Angela and All Political Prisoners' New York Premiere

With her executive producer hat on, Jada Pinkett Smith took to the red carpet at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture to attend the ‘Free Angela and All Political Prisoners’ New York premiere yesterday evening.

She was glowing once again, wearing a Miu Miu sunshine-yellow gown.

Her halter chiffon gown with a side slit is soft and ultra feminine, which is in stark contrast to her edgy look from earlier in the day.

Opting for loose waves and a deep-red lip colour on this occasion, Jada styled her look with a silver Kara Ross clutch and black-and-gold Saint Laurent ankle-cuff ‘Paloma’ sandals.

As always, Jada knocks it out of the fashion ball park. Despite the layers, she doesn’t let this gown overwhelm her petite frame.

Miu Miu Front Row

The Miu Miu Fall 2013 presentation took place in Paris, France yesterday and the brand invited some familiar faces to view the show – none of whom we would immediately associate with the brand, so what better way to make an introduction.

Renee Zellweger: Known for her love of all things Carolina Herrera, the actress donned a Prada black lace shirt dress for the occasion. Looking a lot fresher than she did at the 2013 Oscars, the actress styled her look with all-black Prada accessories.

Zoe Saldana: Wearing Miu Miu head to toe, her look perfectly represents her effortless, laidback style. Working a luxe camel wool coat, the rest of her look features a navy long-sleeved top and high-waisted ankle-zip leather pants, which she accessorized with black Craquelé leather pumps and a Cipria patent matelassé clutch. Save for the out-of-place clutch, this was my favourite look.

January Jones: While I do love this playful head-to-toe Miu Miu look from January, I do get the feeling that she just stepped off the ‘Mad Men’ set with this 60s-inspired look. Maybe that relates more to the hair than the clothes.

Lea Seydoux: The French actress wore an all-Prada look. The look is instantly recognisable by her black Prada coat with floral appliqués. The pretty look, which featured a pink dress with a white collar and black pumps with a pink bow, was styled with an edgy white clutch with silver studs.

KerryWashingtonMiuMiu

Kerry Washington hit the red carpet on Sunday at the 2013 Oscars at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Nominated under the best picture category for ‘Django Unchained’ Kerry sparkled in a custom Miu Miu gown. This is not the first time during award season the actress chose a Miu Miu design, as she sported an equally stunning dress by the label at the Golden Globes.

Kerry brightened up the red carpet in a strapless coral-hued dress with a sweet bow detail at the bustline and a sparkly bodice with silver beading and coral paillettes.

Kerry styled her beautiful gown with a matching coral satin clutch from Prada and a light-catching diamond cocktail ring from Fred Leighton and Chopard earrings.

Kerry’s beauty style for the night really let her dress shine, as she chose to go with a natural makeup look with a nude lip, grey metallic eyeshadow, and her hair in a soft wave with an on-trend center part.

Do you love her bright and sparkly look?
