Olivia Wilde In Michael Kors – ‘Her’ New York Film Festival Screening

Olivia Wilde In Michael Kors - 'Her' New York Film Festival Screening

Olivia Wilde joined Amy Adams and Rooney Mara on the red carpet for the closing-night presentation of her new movie ‘Her’ during the 2013 New York Film Festival at Alice Tully Hall in New York City on Saturday evening.

The actress, who after a mini lull is back to her best, selected a look from Michael Kors’ Spring 2014 collection.

Her 70s-inspired look consisted of a white blouse with an oversized collar accented with a Yael Sonia necklace, and a pair of sand pleated palazzo pants.

I love how her Emm Kuo ‘Ciggones’ gold snakeskin clutch with black caviar crystal beading and brass frame complements her Yael Sonia bracelets.

Wavy side-parted ombre locks, sultry cat-eyes and a nude shimmering lip completed her look.

While the pants could’ve been an inch or two shorter, do you like her ultra-chic modern look or do you consider it not glamorous enough when compared to her co-stars?

Who Wore Michael Kors Better…Naya Rivera or Harley Viera-Newton?

Who Wore Michael Kors Better Naya Rivera or Harley Viera-Newton

Naya Rivera attended the 2013 Giffoni Film Festival for a photocall back in July wearing a pink Michael Kors strapless dress, which she styled with metallic-silver Monika Chiang ankle-strap pumps, a simple ponytail and pink lips.

Harley Viera-Newton wore the same look while taking her front-row seat at the Michael Kors Spring 2014 show last month, adding the pink cropped jacket with white Michael Kors accessories including ‘Evelyn’ pumps, white-rimmed shades and a white clutch.

Both ladies look amazing in this dress, I loved Harley’s the cropped jacket with this dress; it adds a dynamic air of sophistication to the look, but also love the streamline silhouette of Naya’s look.

Naya wins in the end.

Who Wore Michael Kors Better…Olivia Munn or Harley Viera-Newton

Who Wore Michael Kors Better Olivia Munn or Harley Viera-Newton

Olivia Munn wore a Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2013 strapless dress when making a guest appearance on the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ back in August.

She wore the streamline dress consisting of a nude-and-black satin bustier and pretty lace skirt with nude Louboutins.

Harley Viera Newton wore the same look for the Couture Council Artistry of Fashion Award luncheon for Michael Kors last month, adding cheeky cat-eye sunglasses and a lace cardigan which matched her skirt.

Harley wins for me. Not only because I prefer the black bustier, but also because I love her overall styling of the look; it’s fun while still maintaining a sophisticated edge.

NYFW Spring 2014 Red Carpet Wish List Part III

NYFW Spring 2014 Red Carpet Wish List

New York Fashion Week came to a close yesterday evening, so here is my final roundup of looks I wish to see on the red carpet.

Calvin Klein: We all know Rooney Mara is going to pick one of the black looks from this collection, so I hope it is this one with its unique halter detail, contrasting fabrics and interesting fringe detailing.

J. Mendel: I would love to see this gown on someone with Mila Kunis’ dark colouring. The coral lace gown would look gorgeous against her skin tone and naturally smouldering eyes.
