2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Many modes of so-called glamour were represented at the 2017 Glamour Women of the Year Awards on Monday (November 13) in Brooklyn, New York. Here’s a look at some of the other femmes in attendance.

Sailor Brinkley: Simple seduction was precisely what this ZAC Zac Posen Resort 2018 sequin slip gown was all about—with Sailor’s romantic ringlets to follow form.

Yolanda Hadid: For Yolanda, an LBD meant a long black dress in this Akris gown that smartly hinted at seduction in the keyhole detail and side slit.

Sofia Coppola: Fresh and snappy, this Michael Kors Collection Resort 2018 floral frock brought a boldly printed twist to Sofia’s comfortable, no-nonsense style.

Kate Hudson In Michael Kors – The Michael Kors ‘Watch Hunger Stop’ Dinner

Michael Kors hosted the ‘Watch Hunger Stop’ dinner with Vogue Japan in Tokyo on Monday (November 13) with one of his favourite girls, Kate Hudson.

I love how the sequinned and beaded constellation is beautifully cast against a sheer mesh background of her Michael Kors Spring 2018 bodysuit which is paired with a paillette slashed ruffle skirt.

Kate’s style does feel like it’s taken a new direction since her hair cut, but has always been one of those stars who can move from boho, to sexy to movie star glamour seamlessly with each step feeling authentic.

Her version of sophisticated glamour goes down very well with me.

Gianvito Rossi ‘Plexi Sling’ pumps completed her look.

Kelsea Ballerini In Michael Kors Collection & Maria Lucia Hohan – 2017 CMA Awards

Kelsea Ballerini joined Michelle Monaghan, Ruby Rose and Brittany Snow at the 2017 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 8) in Nashville, Tennessee.

There were lots of princess moments at the country awards show, but this one stood out to me for its unique silhouette. The ‘Unapologetically’ singer was clad in a custom Michael Kors Collection gown. The design merged prim and sultry elements thanks to the long sleeves and golden embellishment juxtaposed against the V-neckline and ab cut-out.

Her sculpted waves and a gold hair clip played upon the whimsical charm of the dress.

End Of The Week Red Carpet Roundup

There were so many looks this week, that we’re going to cram them into this final post.

Josephine De La Baume: Attending the ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ world premiere, the French actress opted to infuse her red carpet style with high-voltage seduction courtesy of this Self-Portrait devore mini dress from the Fall 2017 collection. I’m not usually a big fan of platform shoes, but I find myself buying what she’s selling as these Miu Miu Mary Janes add a playful vibe.

Martha Hunt: I love the fashion forward feel of this Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh black cropped blazer and sequin dress from the Fall 2017 collection with simple black pumps. Worn to the World of Children Awards, this was a truly intriguing look I have to say.

Ajak Deng: This saffron yellow Roksanda ‘Tamiko’ jumpsuit from the Fall 2017 collection gave me so much joy at the ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ world premiere. I love the relaxed nature of it all with the chunky heels adding a utilitarian flavour.

Kristen Bell In Michael Kors Collection – ‘A Bad Moms Christmas’ LA Premiere

With the holidays around the corner, we’ll no doubt see plenty of Christmas themed movies coming out in the next few weeks.

First up, ‘A Bad Moms Christmas’, with Kristen Bell taking to the red carpet at the Regency Village Theatre on Monday (October 30) in Westwood, California for the premiere.

I’ve always been a fan of Kristen’s ball beautiful ballgown style, but here she goes the modern yet feminine path in Michael Kors Collection.

Classically elegant, I love the sharp contrast of the colours; which she enhanced with her super chic styling which consisted of Jennifer Meyer jewels.

Husband Dax Shepard was of course on hand to support his wife, going the Christmasy route in his fair island sweater.

Jennifer Garner In Michael Kors Collection – 5th Annual Save The Children Illumination Gala

As a trustee, Jennifer Garner attended the 5th Annual Save The Children Illumination Gala on Wednesday (October 18) in New York City.

There’s no question that black is Jennifer’s go-to red carpet colour, and it serves her so well in this fringed Michael Kors Collection Fall 2017 design.

I love how the sequins under the fringe layer would’ve brought little touch of magic in movement and how Jennifer allowed the dress to do all the talking by keeping the styling simple.

What wouldn’t necessarily jump out as a Jennifer Garner dress on the runway, becomes a gorgeous red carpet look.

11th Annual God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards

Femmes came out in force for the 11th Annual God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards on Monday (October 16) in New York City. As Michael Kors was one of the co-chairs, there were a number of looks from the designer in the house.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Receiving the Michael Kors Award for Outstanding Community Service, the minimalist-loving actress upped the shine quotient in her sparkly Michael Kors Collection Spring 2018 sequin frock—and even gave us a rare look at wavy locks. You may remember seeing this dress on the Red Carpet Wish List for Michelle Pfeiffer.

Gabrielle Union: This Michael Kors Collection Spring 2018 suiting offered up a safari-chic twist on the menswear-inspired trend.

Kate Hudson: Oozing with pure and simple seduction, this custom crimson beaded asymmetrical Michael Kors Collection dress was a knockout on Kate. She really didn’t even need the contrast of the Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ clutch to accessorize, as I love the way her nude pumps vanished from view and left her dress to take top billing.
