The Michael Kors Fall 2009 strapless dress with pockets on the hips, and a seaming detail across the bodice has been worn by Blake Lively and Angelina Jolie recently.

Back in June Blake opted for the hot pink wool version when she arrived at the CFDA Awards, pairing her dress with nude Christian Louboutin peep-toes.

I loved the colour on Blake. This is actually one of my favourite looks for her. She seems to be back to her best after being very disappointing on the red carpet in 2008.

If Angelina had worn the hot pink version I think I would have fainted from the shock, but she opted for the sexy leather version, pairing her dress with Dior heels.

Interestingly both women opted to use the pocket detail whilst posing on the red carpet, and both sported that ‘just got out of bed’ hair look.

Ange does look fabulous in this dress – despite the feeling of de ja vu – but Blake made the bigger impact by totally blowing me away, so she wins for me.

Blake’s pink dress is currently available to purchase from Saks.com for $1,595.

If I pick up one more magazine or read one more blog stating that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are splitting up, I think I’ll tear my hair out.

What do these two have to do to prove how much in love they are with each other, other than mount each other on the red carpet.

Grazia’s headline today is “Angelina’s horror at Brad’s night with ex.” I’m sure you are rolling you eyes like I am.

Mr & Mrs ‘We’re Way Too Genetically Blessed’ put those rumour to bed – for now – looking very much in love on the red carpet last night for the LA premiere of “Inglourious Basterds”.

They were hugging, hold hands and his hand was place on her leather clad butt, as they whipped the crowds and paparazzi into a frenzy.

Sporting lighter locks and wearing minimal make-up, Angelina looked gorgeous wearing a black Michael Kors Fall 2009 black leather strapless dress which had a small pockets on the hips, with two tone Christian Dior heels.

This look reminds me of the sexy leather Versace dress Angelina wore to the Mr & Mrs Smith LA premiere back in 2005.

If the dress looks familiar, that’s because it’s the leather version of fuchsia pink dress Blake Lively wore to the CFDA Awards.

I love the picture below were Angelina and Brad Pitt are genuinely star struck to meet the legendary actor Sidney Poitier.

Diane Kruger was up against the mighty power that is Brangelina, but she didn’t fade into the background.

The star stole the red carpet wearing Atelier Versace backless dress.

Her Fall 2009 couture black silk satin mini dress was completely embroidered with black glass fringes finished in degrade of ruby, grenas, amethyst and sapphire coloured crystals.

Her hair was swept up as she paired her dress with a Versace clutch and heels for this breath-taking look.

Can she make it two for two for Best Dressed Of The Week?

Maria Menounos wore a beautiful Haute Hippie Fall 2009 peach dress with an asymmetrical detail decorated with a sequined panel, which I think looks very similar to a dress presented during the Missoni Spring 2008 collection.

Nude sandals and a complementary silver Nancy Gonzalez clutch complete her look.

Christina Ricci looked amazing wearing a red vintage Azzedine Alaia tight fitted dress covered in spots.

Striking a fierce pose the actress wore Christian Louboutin ‘Bianca’ pumps and carried a black leather clutch.

Is it me or is she glowing?

I’m loving that rich auburn hair colour.

Jessica Lowndes wore a cute paisley print sweetheart neckline mini dress with gold strappy sandals, but the dress seems very tight on her bust.

Silver and gold together make me cringe, so I don’t like her choice of clutch either.

Jessica Simpson sang the national anthem before the hitting of the ceremonial first tee to open the AT&T National PGA golf tournament at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland today.

Her beau Tony Romo, teed off in a group with Tiger Woods first thing this morning.

The media have already started ripping into Jessica for wearing this Michael Kors Spring 2009 fitted dress because of her weight and the horizontal stripes. *eyeroll*

I think she looks great. Yes she’s put on some weight but she’s in portion, she’s healthy, happy and brimming with confidence.

I would kill for her breasts, and many other women would too.

I fell out of love with Jess when she broke up with Nick – I LOVED Newlyweds – but she’s starting to grow on me again.

You may remember Anna Faris wearing this same dress on a photo shoot in LA earlier this year.

Former “Eastenders” and “Bionic Woman” actress Michelle Ryan arrived at the “Carries War” press night in London last night, wearing a red and navy blue colourblock Michael Kors sheath dress from the Spring 2009 collection.

This collection was full of red white and blue pieces, with touches of yellow and black through into the mix.

The dress is sold with the white patent belt and I really wish Michelle had worn it, because the dress has a much better silhouette with the belt.

Gold bangles and a black pumps complete this look.

Do you think her dress looks better without the belt?

Sex And The City actress Kristin Davis arrived for her appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in May wearing one of my favourite dresses from the entire Fall 2008 collections – the Michael Kors Gardenia floral dress.

Kristin wore her dress as on the runway, with a croc purple belt and with eggplant Louboutin’s.

The multi-coloured stretch floral print dress with cap sleeves, has a crossed V-neck, crossed panel detailing.

Florals were not just for Spring, there were heavily featured in Fall collection too. You can buy this stunning dress from the Net-A-Porter US site only, for $1,895.

Project Runway host Heidi Klum was the first to wear this Michael Kors Fall 2007 black strapless jumpsuit.

She wore the jumpsuit with wide belt, when she attended the Lorraine Schwartz Diamond Monkey Collection launch party at the Monkey Bar back in June 2007 in New York.

Actress/singer Jennifer Hudson wore the same jumpsuit to Movies Rock in December 2007 in LA, with a thinner black belt.

Actress Sanaa Lathan revived this jumpsuit this year, at the Verizon Wireless launch party for the Blackberry 8330 Pink Curve in LA last month, without a belt.

Ugly Betty actress Ana Ortiz attended the Ugly Betty Premiere Party at the High Bar in New York last week, with a skinny belt, and on the same day, Kim Kardashian was seen wearing it to go shopping.

It is very strange that despite this jumpsuit being 3 season old, we have seen more celebrities wear this season than the Fall 2007 season, in which it was intended.

Do you think these ladies all went to the same warehouse sale?

For me the jumpsuit needs a belt, so that rules out Sanaa. Kim signaled the death of this jumpsuit. I am not crazy about Jennifer’s long necklace, and Heidi’s belt dominates the whole look, so Ana wins this for me.

UPDATE: Thanks to some very eagle eyes, it turns out that the reason for the new spate of people wearing this black strapless jumpsuit, is because the last 3 all purchased the almost identical Black Halo strapless belted jumpsuit.

I feel a lawsuit coming on.
