Meagan Good In Michael Costello – ‘Think Like A Man Too’ LA Premiere

Meagan Good In Michael Costello - 'Think Like A Man Too' LA Premiere

Meagan Good attended the premiere of ‘Think Like A Man Too’ held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday (June 9) in Hollywood, California.

Seeming not to care that the sheer trend has been done to death, the actress donned a white Michael Costello halter keyhole gown styled with silver accessories including Charlotte Olympia sandals, a Jimmy Choo clutch and Neil Lane jewels.

Working an extreme-ombre shorter hairstyle, she was glowing, opting for neutral makeup.

For a major movie premiere you have to go big, right? So how does this voluminous gown fare for you?

Jordin Sparks In Michael Costello – 2014 Billboard Music Awards

Jordin Sparks In Michael Costello - 2014 Billboard Music Awards

Jordin Sparks was all smiles on the red carpet of the 2014 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas tonight (May 18).

The singer wore a shimmering, black bodycon dress from designer Michael Costello.

Jordin has been toning up recently, and her hard work is paying off, because she looks amazing in this dress, which hugs her in all the right places.

She styled the dress with a Beirn Lucite neon orange box clutch, Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and some sassy jewels from Neil Lane.

A playful cornrow and ponytail style and simple makeup (save for those lush lashes) completed the look.

This perfect combination of style and youthful fun has me about as happy as the effervescent Jordin appears to be.

Regina King In Michael Costello – NAACP Image Awards 2014

Regina King In Michael Costello - NAACP Image Awards 2014Regina King was also in attendance at the NAACP Image Awards 2014, hosted at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California on Saturday (February 22).

The film and TV actress wore a black Michael Costello gown.

I can only suppose this design was intended to project a sophisticated, yet edgy, image. But I’m having a hard time moving past the major cutout that rips through the bodice in a rather unflattering manner.

A sheer, cape-back train, all the frou of a too-long full skirt and rather unfortunate fit issues did nothing to warm my affection to this look.

Simone Smith gold jewelry was likely selected to coordinate with the dress’s hardware, but the gigantic hoop earrings only added to the distracting forces at play here.

I did like the pink lip, but sadly that may be the extent of the positivity I can muster here.

Delta Goodrem In Michael Costello- 3rd Annual AACTA Awards

Delta Goodrem In Michael Costello- 3rd Annual AACTA Awards

Delta Goodrem was also dropping jaws on the red carpet for the 3rd Annual AACTA Awards Ceremony held at The Star on Thursday (January 30) in Sydney, Australia where she joined Cate Blanchett, Lara Bingle and Elizabeth Debicki.

The singer/actress wore a magenta high-neck long-sleeved tantalizing cut-out open-back Michael Costello jersey gown which hugged at every curve.

With the high neckline perhaps a chic bun should’ve been considered; however, the singer left her glossy blonde tresses to fall down her shoulders, with smoky eye makeup and a selection of gold jewels rounding out her look.

Beyonce Knowles In Michael Costello – 2014 Grammy Awards Press Room

Beyonce Knowles In Michael Costello - 2014 Grammy Awards Press Room

Having dried off her tresses from her performance at the 2014 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (January 26) in Los Angeles, California, Beyonce Knowles slipped into another look to meet the press, which was again all about the booty.

The singer wore an open-back Michael Costello fishnet gown with white embroidery, which she styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

As alluring as this gown is, there isn’t much I like about it. It feels terribly dated, like something Tina Knowles would’ve whipped up for Destiny’s Child in the early days.

Also, I’m about ready for celebs to jump off this sheer trend… it’s been done to death.
