2017 Grammy Awards Artists Second Looks

For the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12) in LA, some stars didn’t only rock one look. It was a double feature—a triple feature for a few—with quick changes all night long.

Celine Dion: Don’t let the side view of this Mugler Pre-Fall 2017 black gown fool you. It was still slit way up to there, as presented in the look book, showing off some major leg as the music icon took the stage to present the award for Song of the Year.

Maren Morris In Michael Costello – 2017 Grammy Awards

Maren Morris hit the red carpet of the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12).

The country singer wore a purple lace Michael Costello gown from the designer’s Spring 2017 collection.

This gown is everything we love about Michael Costello as a designer with the lacy detailing, the intricate cut of the bodice and neckline and the drama of the skirt, and Maren embodies the spirit of the dress perfectly.

I also love the surprising styling choices of the white sandals and black and white belted clutch.

The whole look is a great marriage of elegance and fun, and a total win for me.

Ariadna Gutierrez In Michael Costello – ‘xXx’: Return of Xander Cage’ LA Premiere

Ariadna Gutierrez was also at the ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ LA Premiere on Thursday (January 19).

With all the sea of fabric in this Michael Costello fire-engine-red gown, you’d think that she couldn’t have come close to a wardrobe malfunction.

Yet so high was the slit that it turned the dress into a fashion emergency, unintentionally offering a panties peep show when she wasn’t careful.

And the visible illusion neckline only made the look even more in the need of some serious rescuing.

2015 American Music Awards Red Carpet Roundup

AMAs

A constellation of other stars were also at the 2015 American Music Awards, held at Microsoft Theater on Sunday (November 22) in Los Angeles, California.

Carrie Underwood: The winner of Favorite Country Female Artist, Carrie brought the familiar sparkle out to play in a glittery Yas Couture confection styled with complementary Greymer sandals. The short mini dress had the sexy sass appeal while the long cape addition brought the drama of a full gown.

Gigi Hadid: Sweeping across the red carpet in a Bao Tranchi ‘Ethereal Choker’ dress, the model flaunted her assets in this two-piece, slit-to-there design. Tamara Mellon ‘Frontline’ sandals and a Giuseppe Zanotti clutch completed the not-so-innocent look.

Jennifer Lopez’s Ten Costume Changes At The 2015 American Music Awards

Jennifer Lopez in michael cinco spring 2016

Jennifer Lopez was the host of the 2015 American Music Awards, which took place on Sunday (November 22) in LA.

Since I’m not sure what the order of her ten custom changes were, I will start with the most fabric, followed by the catsuits/jumpsuits, then the nearly naked dresses.

Look 1: My favourite was this Michael Cino Spring 2016 ombre full skirt dress.  Mostly because it is so unexpected for JLo, but the sequins are winning me over too.  Just a shame about the gym-bun.

Beyonce Knowles In Michael Costello – Miguel Cotto v Canelo Alvarez Fight

Beyonce Knowles In Michael Costello - Miguel Cotto v Canelo Alvarez Fight

Beyonce Knowles attended the Cotto vs Canelo fight on Saturday (November 21) held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada with Tom Ford-clad hubby Jay-Z and BFF Kelly Rowland.

Kelly Rowland: The singer showcased her long, lean figure in a sensual black halter Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2013 Couture gown.

Beyonce Knowles: Opting for glamorous waves over that cheerleader ponytail, the singer sat ringside wearing a black Michael Costello plunging gown styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Judging her last red carpet look, it would appear that Bey is not ready to make a choice between legs or boobs. Personally, I think she needs some fresh ideas altogether.
