The crosshatch fabric with beading may not be as bold as some embellishment, but it drew the eye around the long-sleeved style while enhancing her statuesque beauty.

The Art of Elysium presents John Legend’s HEAVEN Gala

As to be expected, there was a rush of stars at the 11th annual edition of The Art of Elysium Presents John Legend’s HEAVEN was held on Saturday (January 6) in Santa Monica, California.

Ashley Madekwe: I was a bit surprised to see Ashley donning the Rodarte Fall 2017 look that Nicole Kidman wore to the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. I will say the proportions of the glittery, ruffled look seemed a bit better suited to Ashley.

Rooney Mara: The actress looks to be continuing 2018 with her favoured colour palette of black and white with this Givenchy Spring 2018 lace-accented, asymmetrical dress.

Vanessa Hudgens: I like the enchanting sweep of this Alberta Ferretti Fall 2017 cape gown styled with an Emm Kuo clutch. What betrays the look a bit is the heavy-handed, rust-hued eye makeup, which is a bit too much in the red colour family.

Amanda Crew In Michael Cinco Couture – 2017 Emmy Awards

Amanda Crew was one of the first stars to hit the red carpet at the 2017 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (September 17).

The Silicon Valley actress wore Michael Cinco Spring 2017 Couture gown with a Tyler Ellis clutch.

I always love a long-sleeved gown on the red carpet, and this is no different. Amanda looks lovely absolutely dripping in crystals and the ombré effect is both modern and elegant.

I do have half an eyebrow raised because I can see her boyshorts under the glare of the camera flashes, but all in all, I think this is a beautiful look.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan In Michael Cinco Couture – ‘Okja’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Dear Aishwarya Rai Bachchan,

There has never been a more perfect red carpet moment than this.

In my 10 (-1) years of RCFA, I have never been so moved by one gown, one woman.

I knew you would bring the magic of Cannes back to the fore; and you did so in breath-taking fashion wearing a Michael Cinco Fall 2017 Couture dress from the Dream of Versailles collection this evening at the ‘Okja’ premiere.

For that I will be eternally grateful, as you will always be my Cannes Queen.

All bets are off. This is my favourite look of the year.
