Freida Pinto In Michael Angel – ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Some of you were feeling a sense of déjà vu when Eva Longoria stepped out onto the red carpet for the 2012 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ premiere this evening.

The same can’t be said for Freida Pinto’s Michael Angel look, because it was totally fresh and original.

Her strapless dress with a multi-coloured crystallized bodice and pink draped skirt with a thigh-high split is one-of-a-kind.

The look was which is accented with a silver waistband and styled with bejeweled Louis Vuitton lizard miniaudiere which complemented the bodice of her dress plus shimmering silver Louis Vuitton platform sandals is stunning.

I have a feeling this might be a Marmite dress, but I think this is one of Freida best ever looks.

A sweeping updo and Chopard jewels provided the finishing touches.

Freida Pinto In Michael Angel – ‘Extra’ With Mario Lopez

This afternoon in LA, Freida Pinto was at The Grove filming a segment with Mario Lopez for ‘Extra’ to promote her new movie, ‘Immortals’.

The last time I featured Michael Angel I wished more celebrities would wear his designs.

Freida was listening.

The Indian beauty wore a colourful Michael Angel slip dress from the designer’s Resort 2012 collection.

Her eggplant, blue, yellow, purple and orange spaghetti-strapped dress was cinched at the waist with a burgundy belt.

It looks like someone’s been listening to my prayers for exciting footwear too, because Freida donned a gorgeous pair of summery Roger Vivier 1000 Brides satin sandals which were perfectly complementary to her dress.

Usually if a star opts for a dress with this much colour, they tone things down with plain pumps, so it’s so very refreshing to see Freida step out of that box.

Super-straight brunette locks and neutral makeup completed her look.

Amanda Seyfried In Michael Angel – ‘In Time’ Madrid Photocall

Earlier today Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake were in Madrid, Spain, for the next stop on their European tour for their new movie, ‘In Time’.

The blonde actress continues to seek out colourful looks for her red carpet appearances, and on this occasion she wore a Michael Angel Spring 2011 dress.

As much as I have raved about her glossy locks over the past few days, she should’ve really pulled her hair back to show off the neckline on this stunning psychedelic-print dress, even though she opted out of wearing the Peter Pan collar.

The eggplant Lanvin pumps are tres plain, but maybe she didn’t want to upstage the dress.

Michael Angel is very much an underrated designer by Hollywood starlets.

I wish more celebs would wear his unique pieces.

Michael Angel Spring 2011

With so many designers presenting neutral pieces, it was refreshing to see a mix of colours at Michael Angel’s Spring 2011 presentation.

Water colours prints of blue, red, pink, purple and green dominated the runway.

Most were clearly visible others under latex skirts, t-shirts, blouses, and jackets. I hope they won’t melt during a heatwave next summer.

If you have a washboard stomach you’ll be able to show them off with this collection as we saw many cropped tops.

As not to distract from the clothes the model had a very clean, simple look. They were fresh faced and had their hair pulled back.

We saw no accessories but all the model wore brogues.

E!’s 20th Birthday Party Celebration – Sophia Bush In Michael Angel

Sophia Bush added a touch of class to the red carpet at E!’s 20th Birthday Party Celebrations in LA last night.

Other guests which included the Kardashian’s who all arrived in bod-con dresses – even Kris Jenner.

The “One Tree Hill” star look stunning wearing a Michael Angel Fall 2010 digital printed stretch strapless ‘Dune’ dress.

This was one of my favourites from the collection because of the colours and sexy sweetheart neckline.

I love the nude Jimmy Choo ‘Quiet’ pumps and clutch with the dress.

I think I would wear this dress with a belt, but Sophia looks fine without it.
