Julia Louis-Dreyfus In Max Mara - 2014 Producers Guild of America Awards

Julia Louis-Dreyfus attended the 25th annual Producers Guild of America Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 19, 2014 in Beverly Hills, California following the SAG Awards on Saturday.

The actress wore a black Max Mara fitted dress featuring a sheer yoke and lace detailing on the bodice, which she styled with black pumps and ruby-stoned Irene Neuwirth earrings.

This look is very much to be expected: simple, ladylike and very chic. The earrings really elevate the look for me.

Jennifer Garner In Max Mara – 2014 SAG Awards

Jennifer Garner took a glam turn on the red carpet of the 2014 SAG Awards tonight in Los Angeles.

The presenter and ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ actress wore a sleek and chic custom Max Mara gown with a Ferragamo clutch and David Webb jewelry.

I love the simplicity of this navy and black moment, and Jennifer’s posture and perfectly toned physique look stunning.

The messy updo and glamorous makeup are beautiful and the perfect beauty choices.

I’m not entirely convinced that the earrings were the best choice, but I love everything else.

Scarlett Johansson In Max Mara - Late Show With David Letterman

Scarlett Johansson arrived for an appearance on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman’ in New York City yesterday (January 8) to promote her latest film.

The ‘Don Jon’ actress wore a luxe cashmere and silky smooth silk camel MaxMara ‘Mimma’ coat over a blue Michael Kors dress. She styled the look with Jimmy Choo ‘Farci’ sandals, and oversized Karen Walker ‘Northern Lights’ sunglasses.

Scarlett is doing what she does best, which is old school, Hollywood glamour.

The belt on the jacket cinches Scarlett’s waist in order to show off her famous curves and is unbuttoned just enough to allow Scarlett to flash a hefty dose of leg.

Scarlett’s bright red lip and retro, pin-up hairstyle round out the va-va-voom effect.

A classic pump may have been more elegant than the embellished sandal but, all in all, a winning look for Scarlett.

Jennifer Garner In Max Mara - Marvelous Max Mara Tokyo 2013Jennifer Garner attended the Marvelous Max Mara Tokyo 2013 photo call yesterday at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Japan.

As the current face of Max Mara, the actress naturally wore the label, elegantly donning a streamlined, all-white sleeveless crepe column gown with a refined side ruffle and slit detail.

She paired the pristine dress with a Max Mara black suede clutch with gold piping and black Christian Louboutin ‘Palais Royal’ peep-toe heels, which made for a fitting touch to this monochromatic statement.

Her styling is really what sold the look for me. The black accessories, while dramatic, don’t overpower the gown. She has just the right amount of sparkle on her wrists, and her loosened updo, light smokey eye and nude lip are each sophisticatedly soft and appropriate.

Camila Alves In Max Mara - 2013 Hollywood Film Awards

Camila Alves and Matthew McConaughey attended the 17th Annual Hollywood Film Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California yesterday evening.

Matthew was decked out in a dapper three-piece suit (my favourite kind) but all eyes would’ve been on Camila, who looked stunning wearing a Max Mara black-and-white gown with a keyhole detail from the Resort 2014 collection.

Naya Rivera made me think that perhaps I didn’t like black and white styled together on the red carpet, but Camila’s styling is far superior, with a black Christian Louboutin clutch and white Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps accessorizing the look.
