Red Carpet Fashion Awards

This Matthew Williamson leopard print silk dress, which has the same print as Cameron Diaz’s Matthew Williamson top, which she wore to the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night.

The dress has longer batwing sleeves, but it has the same asymmetrical zip and draped pocket detail.

You can buy the dress version from Net-A-Porter International site, for £570/€699.50.

American Idol season 5 runner-up, Katharine McPhee, performed “Somewhere” at the 20th Annual National Memorial Day Concert, on the steps of The Capitol in Washington this weekend.

For her first performance she wore a floor-sweeping maxi print dress with a ruffled neckline, from Matthew Williamson’s Pre-Fall 2009 collection, which has a bohemian flair, you only get from a Matthew Williamson piece.

The dress was worn with an embellished belt, and she accessorized with a stack of gold bangles, a long necklace, and silver bauble earrings.

For her second performance, the 25-year-old singer duetted with pianist Lang Lang, performing “America the Beautiful”.

Again she wore Matthew Williamson, this time a satin taupe fitted dress, with a skirt that drapes elegantly from the waist.

I love embellished details on her sleeves, and around her waist, as it adds a touch of sparkle to this magnificent dress.

She opted out of the beaded runway necklace, instead adding a simple delicate necklace, which I prefer.

Nude ankle strap heels complete this stunning look.

Katharine was one of the many stars to attend Matthew Williamson’s New York store opening party back in February, during Fashion Week.

The store is located at 415 West 14th Street, New York, NY 10014.

This is the first time in a long time I have LOVED what Rihanna is wearing head-to-toe.

She wowed onlookers in a sexy black and nude strapless Alexander Wang corset dress, with Jil Sander pumps.

Some might say she was a little overdressed for a mere afternoon visit to her pal, Kanye West, but I say she looks fabulous. Soft, feminine and beautiful.

Whilst having some much needed retail therapy, hitting several boutiques including Intermix in New York, Rihanna wore a Matthew Williamson gathered leather coat, as a belted dress.

The look was paired with black knee high boots, and reptile accessories.

This is also another great look.  Not too over the top – with the exclusion of her hair – but still showing a lots of personality.

She’s starting to be fabulous again. I hope it lasts.

Jim Carrey, Colin Firth and Robin Wright Penn arrived for the photocall of A Christmas Carol in horse-drawn carriages, with fake snow falling from the blue sky at Cannes Film Festival this afternoon.

Whilst the fake snow fell Robin looked cool in her Ray-Bans, navy jeans, and Matthew Williamson for H&M electric blue tuxedo jacket.

The tuxedo, which reader/stylist Victor Blanco owns, was inspired by a look featured in Matthew Williamson’s Spring 2009 runway show.

We’ve seen so much Couture during Cannes Film Festival, that’s it nice to see a touch of the high-street.

If Michael Jackson can do it, so can Victor.

YOU ROCK.

Actress Angie Harmon arrived at Prince’s The Purple Party Oscar After Party for LotusFlow3r.com at Avalon wearing a very pretty Matthew Williamson Poppy shift dress.

The black demi-sheer silk chiffon shift dress with floral sequin embellishment, has a beaded trim, and three-quarter length frilled sleeves. This is the perfect alternative to the LDB.

You can buy this dress from the Net-A-Porter US site $1,740, or the international site for £1,223/€1,565.

Whilst we look forward to the second installment of Matthew Williamson’s H&M collection, he had a launch party in New York yesterday.

It was a great chance for us to see pieces from the new collection.

The party nautically-themed party took place on a yacht, and Matthew invited some stylish stars to toast his success.

Campaign model Daria Werbowy caught my eye the most, as she was wearing the same splash print sequin dress, which I purchased last week.

Selita Ebanks really gave us the wow factor, wearing an asymmetrical gown, from Matthew Williamson Spring 2009 collection, with peachy accessories.

In case you are wondering, she will be a contender for Best Dressed Of The Week.

Helena Christiansen gave us a mark 2 preview, as she wore a dress from the second installment of the Matthew Williamson for H&M collection.

She wore a sweet mini printed dress, with a belt, embroidered clutch and gold flat sandals.

Lucy Liu is normally so stylish, but on this occasion, I’m not excited about her choice.

She wore a black embroidered black tunic dress, with nude peep-toes. This is also from the second collection, but it’s not the right style fit for my Lucy.

Mary-Kate Olsen added a pop of colour with her loose purple jacket, over her asymmetrical LBD.

Her Matthew Williamson piece, was the blue studded belt, which I unfortunately couldn’t find in my size.

Alexis Bledel shunned the H&M affordable collection, and opted for a graphic print dress from Matthew Williamson Spring 2009 collection, with Sergio Rossi elasticated strappy ankle sandals.

Great choice, but I much prefer this dress with a belt, as worn on the runway and by Joy Bryant.

Here is a look as what we can expect in stores on May, 14.
