Louise Redknapp In Matthew Williamson – 2013 Pride of Britain Awards

Louise Redknapp In Matthew Williamson - 2013 Pride of Britain Awards

Louise Redknapp continued her support for British designers on the red carpet at the Pride of Britain Awards held at Grosvenor House in London yesterday evening.

The TV presenter/singer wore a Matthew Williamson Fall 2013 folk-inspired jacquard sleeveless mini dress with a geometric pattern and bold floral print.

Picking out the metallic hue, adding a silver-plated clutch was a wise move; however, she sadly failed miserably in the footwear department.

Pippa Middleton In Matthew Williamson – Serpentine Sackler Gallery Redesign Launch

Pippa Middleton In Matthew Williamson - Serpentine Sackler Gallery Redesign Launch

Looking a lot less tanned, Pippa Middleton attended a donors dinner hosted by Michael Bloomberg & Graydon Carter to celebrate the launch of the new Serpentine Sackler Gallery designed by Zaha Hadid on in London yesterday evening.

We haven’t seen much of Pippa on the red carpet, however, she didn’t shy away wearing a Matthew Williamson Pre-Fall 2013 blue cocktail dress embroidered with silver beads at the hips, before finishing in a flourish of hand-dyed ostrich feathers, where teal blue melts into peach tones.

The scoop neckline is highlighted with twists of silver beads encircling teal ribbon, punctuated with sapphire Swarovski crystals and a trim of tiny silver crystals.

With so much to focus on with regards to her dress, she opted for muted accessories including matching blue suede pumps and a grey clutch.

Yay or will it always by nay as far as Pippa is concerned?

Vanessa Kirby In Matthew Williamson – ‘About Time’ World Premiere

Vanessa Kirby In Matthew Williamson - ‘About Time’ World Premiere

Vanessa Kirby joined Rachel McAdams on the red carpet at Somerset House in London yesterday evening for the world premiere of ‘About Time’.

Also opting for a London-based designer, she wore a pretty shimmering frock from the Matthew Williamson Fall 2013 collection.

Her embellished halter-neck dress with a silver ombre sequinned skirt overlay and open back was styled with grey suede platform sandals, which I love; however, the clutch feels a bit too heavy for the overall lightweight feel of the look.

The look would’ve worked better with no clutch at all. Do you agree?

Nina Dobrev In Matthew Williamson – Comic Con 2013

Nina Dobrev In Matthew Williamson - Comic Con 2013

Nina Dobrev continued her chic streak at Comic-Con 2013, as she was spotted on her way to a press engagement in San Diego, California.

After earlier delighting us with a punchy summer look, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ starlet switched up her style with this charming Matthew Williamson Pre-Fall 2013 skater dress.

The lookbook frock was right in keeping with Comic-Con’s current black-and-white obsession. Thankfully, Nina wore a vermillion version of the kicky design that featured a pixellated, geometric zigzag print.

Black Rupert Sanderson ‘Junco’ shoe-boots were also reminiscent of fall, but a rose-coloured Jimmy Choo ‘Shadow’ shoulder mini-bag lightened the look.

Allison Williams In Matthew Williamson & Missoni – 18th Annual Nantucket Film Festival

Allison Williams In Matthew Williamson & Missoni - 18th Annual Nantucket Film Festival2

Allison Williams attended the 18th Annual Nantucket Film Festival on Saturday in Nantucket, Massachusetts wearing two different frocks, one pair of pumps and one familiar hairstyle.

First up was a Matthew Williamson paneled floral brocade blue-and-green dress, with a red Missoni printed frock to follow.

The first look is very typical of Allison. I feel like I have seen her in this style of dress many times before.

The red pleated knit Missoni dress is far more interesting, mostly because it’s a step out of her floral-printed-sheath comfort zone.

While both looks are event appropriate, I would love to see Allison step out of her comfort zone every now and then.
