Saoirse Ronan In Mary Katrantzou - 'Don Jon' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

After attending the ‘Justin and the Knights of Valour’ premiere in London on Sunday evening, Saoirse Ronan headed to Toronto, Canada, where she took to the red carpet yesterday evening for the ‘How I Live Now’ premiere during the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival held at the Winter Garden Theatre.

The movie may have been different, but her love for Mary Katrantzou stayed the same, as this time she wore a dress from the Greek-born designer’s Fall 2013 collection.

Her long-sleeved sheer ‘Sandeep’ dress featuring impressionistic imagery printed in lilac and black tones was complemented with a deep-berry lip colour which I feel might be too dark for some, considering the feedback on Sarah Gadon.

Style-wise I’m not a huge fan of the shoes, but I love the gothic vibe of her overall look.

Michelle Dockery In Mary Katrantzou - Generation W Party and Vanity Fair’s 'Celebration of the 2013 International Best Dressed List'

Michelle Dockery attended the Generation W Party and Vanity Fair’s ‘Celebration of the 2013 International Best Dressed List’ on Monday evening in New York City.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ actress has been working a lot of print following her monotone dress code during Venice Film Festival.

Here we see her bursting with colour wearing a Mary Katrantzou Resort 2014 sleeveless printed dress featuring a straight neckline, which is our second look at this collection since Friday.

It wasn’t only her pretty dress which caught my eye; I also found myself drawn to her hot-pink lips and cobalt-blue Gianvito Rossi snakeskin pumps. The whole look is really a fest for eyeballs.

The rest of her accessories included a Monica Rich Kosann clutch and Dana Rebecca earrings.

A chic wavy bob completed her spectacular look. If this was a book, I wouldn’t be able to put it down.

Olivia Wilde In Mary Katrantzou - Artists For Peace And Justice Brunch

Olivia Wilde attended the Artists For Peace and Justice Brunch during the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday in Toronto, Canada.

Her Mary Katrantzou Resort 2014 frock is the third dress by the Greek-born designer we’ve seen on the red carpet this weekend following Keira Knightley and Saoirse Ronan.

Olivia’s multicoloured Tetris-inspired printed ‘Suddenly’ dress with a straight neckline, tank-style straps, and an A-line skirt is the perfect garden-party Sunday-brunch-appropriate look.

The multi-colour version, which I favour, may have been a tad OTT for the event, so her blue version was the right choice for this event.

Beauty-wise, her blue eye shadow not only complemented her dress but also made her blue eyes pop with a nude lip colour rounding out her look.

Opting for no jewels, a side-swept bun and gold Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps ensured the focus was kept firmly on her dress.

Saoirse Ronan In Mary Katrantzou - 'Justin And The Knights Of Valour' London Premiere

Saoirse Ronan attended the UK premiere of ‘Justin and the Knights of Valour’ held at the May Fair Hotel in London this evening.

Like Keira Knightley, the Irish actress also selected printed frock courtesy of Mary Katrantzou.

Saroirse’s Resort 2014 sleeveless mini jacquard dress, which also took us the scenic route with its walker desert landscape print, was styled with Nicholas Kirkwood black lace booties amping up the youthful edge of her look.

The only thing I would consider changing about this look is the hair.

Keira Knightley In Mary Katrantzou - 'Can A Song Save Your Life' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Keira Knightley took to the red carpet at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada yesterday evening for the Toronto Film Festival premiere of ‘Can A Song Save Your Life?’

She was the one I was looking out for at this festival and she didn’t disappoint, turning to maestro of prints Mary Katrantzou who created this enchanting bucolic landscapes and painterly murals print strapless calf-length strapless dress, with a fully-boned bodice and voluminous pleated skirt.

I was expecting another Valentino Couture gown, but this chic frock doesn’t disappoint. I’m glad she went left, when I was expecting her to go right.

Keeping her accessories to a minimum to let this head-turner speak for itself, she styled her frock with nude Christian Louboutin ankle strap suede pumps, smoky eyes and a tousled updo.

BDOTW 5 Aug

It was a Mary Katrantzou double this week, as you voted for Diane Kruger wearing a look from the designer’s Resort 2014 collection and I picked Naomie Harris in a frock from the designer’s Fall 2013 collection.

I may have gone for Diane, as her dress has more of an interesting shape, but I couldn’t get past the hair.

When it came to the fellas, our choices differed. You selected the handsome Eddie Redmayne in his navy linen suit, while I was more enamoured with the pretty pink suit worn by RuPaul.

Diane Kruger In Mary Katrantzou - FOX All-Star Party

Diane Kruger attends the FOX All-Star Party in West Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

The actress is the first to wear a look from Mary Katrantzou’s Resort 2014 collection.

Her strapless dress, with a fitted bodice and an asymmetric rose-and-trellis-patterned wrap-effect skirt with slash pockets at the hips, is just another example of why Diane is always top of the Best-Dressed lists.

Oozing fashion It-girl confidence, she didn’t overpower her striking dual-print dress, adding only a pearly-white Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch and black ankle-strap Stuart Weitzman sandals.

A dark-red lip colour and wavy tresses completed her look. For a change, I would’ve loved to have seen Diane do something different with her hair.
