Lily James In Mary Katrantzou – ‘Cinderella’ Berlin Film Festival Photocall

Lily James In Mary Katrantzou - 'Cinderella' Berlin Film Festival Photocall
Lily James attended the ‘Cinderella’ photocall during the 65th Berlinale International Film Festival at Grand Hyatt Hotel on Friday (February 13) in Berlin, Germany.

The actress caught my eye in her Mary Katrantzou Spring 2015 dress in which the designer’s one-time signature engineered prints were instead transformed into the rush of intricate embellishment.

The delicate baby-blue design was given a dynamic and semi-revealing punch with its peek-a-boo sheer embroidery of floral shapes interspersed with iguana-like creatures and the abstract black ruffle at the hem.

As the dress stood on its own, Lily streamlined her styling to only include simple black Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals and a modern, wispy low ponytail.

I loved the fanciful nature of this frock, as it’s in keeping with the fairy tale nature of her film yet provides a strong directional flair.

Marion Cotillard In Mary Katrantzou – ‘The Talk’ and ‘Access Hollywood’

Marion Cotillard In Mary Katrantzou - 'The Talk' and 'Access Hollywood'

Marion Cotillard made guest appearances on CBS’s ‘The Talk’ and ‘Access Hollywood’ on Tuesday (February 3) where she dished on her Oscar night plans, her new movie ‘Two Days, One Night’, her kids and much more.

The French actress wore a look from Mary Katrantzou’s Pre-Fall 2015 collection featuring a sheer blouse and wool mini skirt, both rendered in a tri-colour yellow, maroon and blue houndstooth textured overlay for graphic appeal.

With her hair swept back into a neat bun, my hopes are that she considered the brighter hues of her look when selecting her footwear, but something tells me that she wore black Louboutins, which frankly would’ve worked just as well.

Kiernan Shipka In Lela Rose – 19th Annual Art Directors Guild Excellence In Production Design Awards

Kiernan Shipka In Lela Rose - 19th Annual Art Directors Guild Excellence In Production Design Awards

Kiernan Shipka attended the 19th annual Art Directors Guild Excellence In Production Design Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday (January 31) in Beverly Hills, California.

The ‘Mad Men’ star looked pretty in pink wearing a jacquared strapless frock with blue embroidery from Lela Rose’s Spring 2015 collection.

As we are all aware, Kiernan can pull off any look ranging from edgier designers such as Mary Katrantzou to pretty feminine frocks like this one.

Aside from the soft, fresh youthfulness she’s serving up here and the detailed waterfall back, I adore the blue foil Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals worn to perfect this look.

She always has such a great selection of footwear. I wish more would follow her lead.

Becki Newton In Mary Katrantzou – FOX Winter TCA All-Star Party

Becki Newton In Mary Katrantzou - FOX Winter TCA All-Star Party

Becki Newton made a long-awaited return to the red carpet for the FOX Winter TCA All-Star Party held at the Langham Hotel on Saturday (January 17) in Pasadena, California.

Mary Katrantzou’s dazzling graphics took a fresh approach for the Resort 2015 collection, emblazoned with an array of letter motifs.

They are incorporated into Becki’s short red and pink long-sleeve short jumpsuit, which I love for its modernity and its playful girlie appeal wrapped up with simple styling.

Great to see she’s hasn’t lost her touch.

You didn’t like Taylor Swift’s Mary Katrantzou short jumpsuit, so how does this one fair?

Allison Williams In Mary Katrantzou – Glamour Cover Star Dinner Party

Allison Wiliams In Mary Katrantzou - Glamour Cover Star Party

‘Glamour’ cover star Allison Williams was feted by editor-in-chief Cindi Leive at a celebration held at il Buco Alimentari & Vineria in New York City on Wednesday (January 14).

The starlet, who has captured our attention with her red-carpet style, continued to do so in a directional Mary Katrantzou Spring 2015 collared dress, intricately patterned and strewn over with artsy, squiggly embroidery and a Peter Pan collar.

The effect was whimsical, trend-forward and slightly chaotic. So, given the complexity of the dress, she kept her styling straightforward.

A simple, chic pair of Jimmy Choo ‘Ari’ black pumps and Ana Khouri white-gold ‘Libertine’ earrings, along with minimal makeup and a sleek, pulled-back updo was all that was needed.
