Zendaya Coleman In Ralph Lauren, Marni & Chloe – Out In New York City

Both Saturday (December 9) and Monday (December 11) saw another string of New York City appearances from Zendaya Coleman, who has been busy promoting ‘The Greatest Showman’—and showing off her continued chic streak.

Empire State Building: On Saturday, she was atop the Empire State Building—and at the top of her style game, too, with this Ralph Lauren tuxedo coat worn over a Martin Grant Spring 2018 skirt that I loved for its bright, emerald hue that radiated with its jewel-toned mood. The styling was perfection, too, with her sleek bun and statement earrings—with the snow adding a cinematic touch.

Out in New York:
Her glamour waves returned with this Marni Marni Pre-Fall 2017 coat that may have fallen on deaf ears if it were not for the snappy, exploded houdstooth collar. Casadei ‘Techno Blade’ boots added another layer of sharp edginess to the dynamic look.

Out In New York: We all know Zendaya doesn’t hide from the retro vibes, and they were strong here in this Chloe Spring 2018 ensemble that was playfully fun and funky—especially when topped off with the geometric booties.

I was in love with the seasonal sophistication of the first and second look. Which one caught your eye?

‘Downton Abbey: The Exhibition’ Gala

The darlings of ‘Downton Abbey’ gathered for a gala reception honouring ‘Downtown Abbey: The Exhibition’ on Friday (November 17) in New York City.

Michelle Dockery: This version of the LBD, courtesy of Prada, came decorated with the label’s signature embellishment. Even so, it was a rather safe option for the actress, especially when styled with Rupert Sanderson black pumps.

Sophie McShera: I like how this Martin Grant Fall 2017 one-shoulder dress celebrated a certain vintage-inspired exuberance with its one pouf sleeve. Jimmy Choo cross-strap heels echoed that retro-forward spirit.

Joanne Froggatt: I’m sure Joanne’s Jimmy Choo black heels were chosen to complement the black waistband that provided a punctuated element amidst the light coral, wavy embroidery of her dress.

Lady Gaga In Martin Grant – Out In Paris

Lady Gaga In Martin Grant - Out In Paris

It would appear that this fashion week is the place to unveil new hair colours, as Lady Gaga revealed a flame-haired do leaving Balenciaga’s offices in Paris, France, on Saturday (March 7).

Even with her new hair colour, my eyes were firmly on her uber-chic Martin Grant Spring 2015 look, which for me is one of her best yet.

Harking back to the Swinging Sixties, this sleek and sophisticated tailored trend-transcending look with sensually flowing lines should’ve been hemmed to fit properly, but I swooned nonetheless.

I always say that Gaga is at her best when she’s not overdressing or attention seeking, and this very much proves that point.

Malin Akerman In Martin Grant – HBO’s Emmy Awards Post-Awards Reception

Malin Akerman In Martin Grant - HOB's Emmy Awards Post-Awards Reception

Malin Akerman attended HBO’s Annual Primetime Emmy Awards Post-Awards Reception held at The Plaza at the Pacific Design Center on Monday (August 25) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a black and red dress from Australian-born designer Martin Grant.

This may be a dress from seasons past – Fall 2011 – but what makes it a current and successful outing lies within its block-style design.

Malin’s dress features a plunging neckline and a pleated skirt with a free-spirited feel.

Thinking smartly when it came to the accessories, she added a red satin Giuseppe Zanotti clutch, Jacquie Aiche earrings and a Tito Pedrini ring.

A super-sleek updo and contrasting hot-pink lip rounded out this very sexy, sophisticated look, seeing the actress back at her very best.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw In Martin Grant – ‘Belle’ London Premiere

Gugu Mbatha-Raw In Martin Grant - 'Belle' London Premiere

Gugu Mbatha-Raw returned to the red carpet for the ‘Belle’ London premiere, hosted today (June 5) at BFI Southbank in England.

The British actress put her pins on display, skipping the gown route in favour of a Martin Grant Spring 2013 black playsuit that featured architectural folded detail and pleating.

The secret here was that she didn’t overwhelm the look with exaggerated styling, accessorizing with golden pendant earrings by Carolina Bucci, a few bangles and Christian Louboutin black lace stilettos.

The ensemble boasted a fun, flirty and chic vibe, all tied up into one fashionable package that Gugu wore quite well. Would you agree?

Jess Weixler In Martin Grant & Honor – ‘The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Photocall

Jess Weixler In Martin Grant & Honor - 'The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby' Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Photocall

For the Cannes Film Festival presentation of ‘The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby’ the premiere took place before the photocall.

Premiere: On Saturday (May 17), Jess Weixler wore a Martin Grant Spring 2014 gown with a black top with a scooped neckline and a geometric print ball skirt. Despite the dramatic print this fell a bit flat for me. Not because I was comparing it to Jessica Chastain’s look, more that it lacked Cannes glamour.

Photocall: Earlier today (May 18), the actress wore an uber sweet Honor Fall 2014 grey dress structured with a striking fit-and-flared profile and paired with a sheer bolero with triangle-shaped appliqués. Jimmy Choo ‘Xenia’ sandals completed her look.

Of the two looks, the second is by far my favourite. Both the dress to the styling this look were perfect.
